Chase Bank

I opened my account here and got my first debit card back when I was still Washington Mutual. A lot has changed over the years was a service and how they treat their members has never changed. When it comes to serious matters this is the Chase branch I always go to.

Just signed up for a checking account and credit card.
Been loyal to other banks because they were my first bank but I absolutely hate them for their nasty fees lol I’ve been wanting to switch over to Chase for awhile now.
Walked in and was greeted right away. Staff is very friendly.
My mom and I both wanted to open a credit card and I also wanted to open a checking account with them.
The nice lady who helped us was Rosa Wong.
I love her! She is very friendly, and personable and helpful with explaining everything about our credit cards. I love that I didn’t feel uncomfortable like I have with other bankers at other banks when they push you to open other accounts or cards with them haha

I have to write a glowing review about the experience I just had at this Chase branch. I went in to ask a question about a cashier’s check my recipient never got and I ended up in a little office room with the branch manager Linda Mack — we discussed so much, from credit scores to health insurance. (she provided me with a list of contact info for all three reporting agencies that she printed out)
Linda gave me her time, we talked about refinancing and the housing bubble, she had a sense of humor and while I knew she was probably busy, I was happy to have someone at a bank talk to me like a human being. (Even though I have tattoos;)
I love when a doctor takes even a second extra with me, just to get on a human level — and though banks and hospitals are pretty different, they both have the ugly tendency to treat people more like accounts than individuals…
Like most people I don’t trust the big banks (some credit unions are just as bad) but when an employee treats me with respect and is helpful the way Linda was today it makes me feel less like these heartless corporations are out to get me.

Wow after I gave a 5 star review on their tellers who were very helpful .The manager Linda was very rude, was sitting at her desk doing nothing at all and choose to not help me or her employee. She put all her responsibility on her personal banker who was a sub filling in for the regular banker. The sub was not very helpful but not as rude as the manager (rosa was the sub) Very disappointing to see someone in management not help their employees. I am closing my business accounts and personal accounts. Very disappointing

I went in to transfer money from an EDD card (Visa, issued by BofA) to my Chase checking, although the teller didn’t know how to process it. Even though there was only one other customer in the entire bank, I had to wait 10 minutes for the teller to get manager assistance. Finally, the manager informed the teller to process it as a cash advance. The manager then suggested that I call next time to do this over the phone so that I don’t have to go in bank. So, next time I called, first the # on back of debit card, then this particular branch, only to be informed that this cannot be done by phone; I need to go in branch. Two bad customer service experiences.

Chase Bank LOST my money… ALL OF IT. I go in two months ago to deposit two payroll checks into my account and they never posted to my account, when I asked the bank what happened to my checks they denied I ever made the deposit, even though I still had my transaction receipt. After dealing with numerous unintelligent people here, I finall called corporate and they credited my account the money for what they lost… THREE WEEKS LATER!!! (and they STILL denied that they lost my money, with no idea of what ever happened to them.)
So after the fact, I come in last month to cash my checks and the teller immediately shouted at me, «You can only deposit this, it’s not in your policy to cash checks. So deposit or go somewhere else!»
Wow. I have never been treated like this in a BANK.
I asked to talk to a manager and an obese Asian woman with a serious attitude problem came over and pulled me into the office so no one would hear about how they lost my money. After calmly explaining the situation, she just looks at me blankly and the says «hold on», then gets her phone and calls the Almaden location where my account was originally set up, putting the rep on Speakerphone as he too denies anything that happened with my account and also lies about telling me I could cash checks with no minimum balance upon opening my account. The manager shoots me a filthy up-​and-​down look and hangs up. She then says, «We’ll you’re lying and he confirmed it. I’m not cashing anything for you and no money of yours was lost.»
So, what exactly was the point of her phone call? Besides being unprofessional and catty to a customer who is being wronged on many levels here. This was it, I closed my account & after doing my research I’ve found HUNDREDS of the same cases with California Chase banks; the tellers are stealing deposits and blaming systems for errors, and to make it even worse the branch managers sweep it under the rug as quietly as possible. All in all, do not ever trust these people, go to Tech CU where the employees don’t rob you blind.

This is a good branch. Helpful and friendly people, but they’re def on the younger side for the employees. Meaning that the way they speak to each other amongst customers within ear shot, all bad. I’m no prude, in fact, I’ll be the first to drop an F-​bomb, but when you’ve never met me, I’m in slacks and a button up in for some help on my account, and you talk about a party where one of your coworkers tried to hook up with a drunk chick (at least thats what the gist that I got as they discussed this OVER me), then you’re obviously still a bit immature… That or you’re just stupid. Either way I don’t care. They helped me and I got my questions answered. So no skin off my back

This place is conveniently located at the Pruneyard. Although there is only 1 ATM machine I have never had to wait long… thus far I am ⁹⁄₁₀ for finding a parking space nearby…
