Concours Auto Body

My 2009 Toyota had a pretty bad scrapes with a few dents in the right front tire cover area and some major scrapes and dents in the left bottom rear door, all from various incidents in the parking lots (of course, no note were left). I wanted to have all these issues fixed up before I start my new job in the middle of January. So I took it to Concours this afternoon to get an estimate. As soon as I pulled up, Ron came out right away to help me. I showed him the issues and told him that I plan to keep this Toyota maybe for another year or so before I buy a new car, and that I would like to spend as little as possible to fix these issues out of my pocket.
Ron took another look at the bad scrape on the right side, asked me to wait for a second, went inside the shop and quickly came back with a bottle of solution and a rag. He pushed out the dents around the tire cover with his hands to a point where there are no dents, then wiped the area with the rag and solution. To my amazement, all the scrapes were gone/​invisible instantly from the area, and the issues were hardly noticeable. Ron told me that the paint layer in these areas now have less protection, and suggested that I get my car washed and waxed well. That I will do first thing tomorrow.
He did the same for the scrapes on the drivers side. While there are some issues in the bottom panel of the left rear door that could not be fixed with just the solution and wipes (I will come back to have this fixed at Concours in a few months of course), most of the scrapes were invisible from this side as well. Ron also gave me some tips for fixing some other minor issues in the smaller areas where the paint was chipped off and the plastic base was showing.
Ron spent about 15 minutes on my car quickly making most of the scrapes and issues invisible and gone, gave me some good pointers, and didn’t even charge me.
He certainly made my day by saving me a lot of money and time, and made a very loyal customer out of me in less than ½ hour. I read all the good reviews on Concours on Unilocal and hoped it to be the case with me, and I feel very happy that it ABSOLUTELY is. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a body shop that provides great customer services with integrity.

I never do these kinds of things online where I post up reviews, comments or any of that sort but this is the least I could do to thank Derek and his body shop crew for the work they put into my 07 Civic SI.
Derek himself, came by to give a free estimate of my car that was a 20min drive away from the shop. He goes through the process of explaining how him and his crew would work with each individual part in details so that you’re on the same page as him and understand what will be the result.
The best thing about Concour’s Auto Body is their customer service, that literally made me feel like it was too good to be true, while still having the skills, knowledge, and work result to back it up. I don’t have any complaints to any aspect of the experience I’ve had with them.
Derek really takes customers in high regards up to an emotional standpoint where he works with the type of life situation you’re in.
Its the best way to end off the 2015 year; from the negativity since my accident, to the positive result of finding the right people and being able to drive my car.

This has to be the BEST body shop around. We have used Derek and his guys a couple of times and they never fail to amaze. Derek truly believes in great customer service and treating the customer fairly. And, on top of this their work is superb. This is my first Unilocal review and I would not normally post anything publicly. But I felt compelled to write a review for this business. Derek and his staff are really in the business to serve their customers. They went above and beyond to fix my car. They not only fixed what I originally came in for but even fixed one of my door locks and gas door. Both were knocked out of kilter from a previous repair at another body shop. Derek even ordered a small part for the door and didn’t charge me. On top of everything else they gave us a discount on what we had to pay out of pocket! They not only work fast but they give quality service. My car was cleaner and looked better than when I dropped it off. Final words– Derek and his staff are super friendly and down to earth. If you want quality work, genuine, honest customer service then do not hesitate to bring your car here!!!

I’m very happy to find this body shop for my car. This was the first time I brought my car to a body shop after a minor accident. I didn’t know what to do and what to expect. I found 3 body shops on White Oak Road and was going to compare. Concours was the first one I stop by. Boy oh boy! They made me so comfortable and confident that I didn’t even go to another body shop.
My insurance quoted me a price only to have the spare tire cover and the bumper repainted. Ron took a quick look and immediately he saw the rubber part was scratched and was caused by this accident. He said the rubber part couldn’t be repaired and a new bumper should be replaced. There was a big scratched on the left corner of the rear bumper which was not related to this accident. A new bumper will take care of all the scratches on the bumper. Also he saw one other scratch on the left rear fender and he said he would take care of that part too.
Pat collected my insurance information, talked to my insurance company, couldn’t persuade for the insurance to cover a new bumper but they order me a new one from the manufacturer anyway. Pat scheduled me to bring my car in on Monday morning and it was ready on Wednesday. He also offered to give me a ride if I needed one. What a nice gesture! When I picked up my car, the car was cleaned, inside out. They actually gave me a free car wash. Not only that. They touched up all the minor scratches around my car, free of charge to me. Pat told me they could get a discount from the manufacturer and they replaced my bumper at a lower profit margin so there is no after market parts on my car. The color on the rear spare tire cover and all touchups on my car look flawless. My car looks like new!
I’m very impressed with their customer service and the extra miles they did to make their customers happy. I will definitely recommend Concours to my friends.

Concours is the best! Pat and Derrek really go above and beyond, not just on car repair, but on the entire customer experience. My family has been taking our cars there for 10+ years, and we’ve never had a complaint. It’s unusual for a business to keep up that level of service for such a long time. Highly recommend!

Within the last year, I’ve brought in another Acura (hood paint) & a Chrysler Town & Country (replace sliding door handle & paint) plastic surgery restorations to repair localized damage (both 14 year old cars) into that restored vehicle look. I spent my own money on both these repair/​repaints also, and Derek & company are real craftsmen. These new/​old cars just look stunning!

We don’t have a need to visit auto shops very often (thank goodness) so I can’t compare Concours to other places. But for the work we got done and the price we paid, we are very satisfied. Derek gave us a very reasonable estimate. He probably even gave us a break on the cost because our 21-​year-​old was paying for the repair himself. Also, they worked on our car until 6 p.m. so we could have the car on Friday evening and didn’t have to leave it over the weekend. And they did little extras like buffing the headlights to make them clear again. If we ever need an auto body shop again, we would return to Concours.

Derek and crew are the best in business. After significant front end damage from a collision we thought our Armada was toast. Derek repaired it perfectly. The hood, fenders and grill lined up perfectly like it came from the dealer. The paint impeccably matched the rest of the body. I couldn’t be more satisfied with their performance, quality, and customer service. I highly recommend Concourse auto-​body.

We just had our sons truck repaired by Derek after it was tail ended. He had it all done in a day and fixed up a number of other small issues for no extra charge. He was also able to get the cracked windshield replaced at the same time for half the price of Safelite, which has always had great prices. Thanks Derek for the outstanding job. We would recommend Derek without reservation for any auto body repairs in the future.

I had a friend recommend these guys to me. I didn’t even look at Unilocal reviews (crazy right?), but I did see some of the work they did on his car and was impressed.
I spoke with Derek about what I wanted doing (parking dent on the rear fender of an RX-​8) and he explained what they would do and gave me a very reasonable sounding quote. I was looking to pay out of pocket since it was not worth involving insurance for this one.
A couple of weeks later, I booked the car in. They had it back to me on time and looking fantastic. They actually went beyond what I had asked for, and for no extra charge than what we had originally agreed.
Before talking to Derek I was on the fence about whether it was worth the cost of repairing my dent or not, and also concerned about unwanted side effects from painting the car, or from the dis-​assembly/​re-​assembly of it in the process. I have to say, I am very happy now that it is done. The car looks amazing and the price was more than fair. I can now show off the car as it deserves and I’ll be back with any work I need doing in the future…

I was referred here by a family friend. Derek, the owner, is a superb businessman. He gave me a great rate, fixed my car in a timely fashion, and did good work. I couldn’t even tell that my car had been in an accident and it was in and out in 2 days. I would go back to his shop in a heart beat. Very trust-​worthy business.

Had some minor bodywork done here — TOP CLASS place, really nice guy. Derek deals with all the insurance and gets it done FAST. Recommended him to a coupla others who also will never go anywhere else.
