DJ’s Performance

A friend recommended DJ’s Performance and now I am recommending them to everyone! The team is great — knowledgeable, easy to work with, honest, and fair. I took my Saturn Ion in because of a clunking sound and trouble starting. I also asked them to do a regular service. They quickly diagnosed the problems, called with an expected cost, and said that my car didn’t need a regular service for another 6,000 miles or so. I couldn’t believe it! I authorized them to fix the problems, and it was all done within a few hours. I will definitely take my car back in 6,000 miles for the next service, as well as for anything else that my cars need.

The team at DJ’s Performance is nothing short of great. Our family has been using DJ’s for over a decade. By far without question the best auto repair and maintenence company in the valley. They service all 4 of our vehicles BMW 528, Chevy Suburban, Volvo S40, and Toyota Camry. In fact this is the only shop I’ll let touch my BMW… better than the dealer !
Great service, reasonable rates, no nickel and dime shenanigans like other shops. They truly treat their customers like family. I wish I could give them 100 stars. These guys are the best!

When my much trusted mechanic retired, I asked him who I could trust. DJ’s Performance at 3480 Pearl Ave, he told me. I have been to DJ’s twice and both times I was referred elsewhere to save me money. Dell is incredible. I needed an oil change and he told me to go next door because they were cheaper. When my car started «making a noise whenever I turned» he inspected my car for free, told me I needed a new muffler and referred me to Classic Muffler Shop. If anything serious goes wrong with my car, I know where I will go — to Dell Orsua at DJ’s Performance. An honest, kind gentleman. As a Senior lady on a fixed income who knows nothing about cars, I thank Dell.

My truck wouldn’t start so I took it to DJs at 4 PM, had a new fuel pump installed and have it back by 3 PM the following day. I trust DJs because they use OEM original part replacements.
John and Dell treat everyone fairly, their prices are reasonable and their service is fast.
I will not take my vehicle to anyone else!

I am so glad I found this shop. The owner Dell is a class act and really cares and takes pride in his work. These guys are honest and do quality work. We took my wife’s car there first to get a 2^nd opinion after another shop told us her car had a cracked head/​block and had a bad drive shaft. They did a full diagnosis and found only a loose radiator cable. And the car runs perfect 2 years after another shop said it had a cracked block. The shop does all our service now for my wife’s car.
We take my SUV there for all required service. I got a rebuilt transmission, new brakes, repaired air conditioner, and tunes ups and the SUV runs solid. They also stand behind there work and rechecked my transmission after i discovered a problem shifting (no extra charges). They even paid to have it towed to be rechecked on the new transmission at their cost.
They are the best kept secret in the South SJ/​Almaden area.

We’ve had some major repairs done here and Dell is honest and really reasonable with the prices. During our last visit, Dell came across an unrelated problem that turned out to be part of a recall campaign, so he called the local dealership, got all of the details and gave them to me to make an appt. with them to get it repaired free of charge. Way above and beyond!

This place rocks! Dell knows exactly what to do and always hooks up the best deals! He lets you know what the problem is and never trys to hit you for extras that you don’t need! They are honest, fast, the work is done right and at a great price! I’ll never take my car anywhere else but him!

The things that you want most in auto repair are all here: honesty, reasonable prices, timely service, and most of all accurate and dependable work. I have faced several moments when my car needed urgent TLC. Del and Ed were amazing. They made sure the work was done right, done well, and done quickly. I highly recommend them. Can’t thank them enough for keeping me on the road and safe.

Del is great. He always takes the extra step to make sure you are satisfied. He is honest and he doesn’t try to nickel and dime you. He will continue to have my business.

My air conditioner stopped working on my t-​bird so I took it into DJ’s. Dell knew exactly what to do and when I picked it up I was amazed to find it blew colder air than it ever has before! Great repairs and great price.

EXCELLENT!!! I’d give them 10 stars if I could! I am so happy I found this place. I called a repair shop on Almaden for a brake estimate on my Audi and was quoted $ 600. Then I called DJ’s and spoke to Dell. He quoted half that price! Dell was so helpful and friendly and offered to fit me in the very next morning. The price was just what he quoted… no surprise «discoveries in need of repair» like I’ve had at so many other repair shops. You can call other places for price comparison. Then go to DJ’s Performance for the BEST customer service and price.

Well, just recently, I had an unfortunate flat tire right before I had to leave to go to work and Dell (owner) at D. J’s Performance was kind enough to fix the flat quickly — -it took him all of 10 minutes to help me out, so I wasn’t even late for work ! AGAIN, kudos to this business !! Also, I’d thought I needed new wiper blades and actually he told me that all that was needed to be done was an adjustment to the angle of the washer device, so he adjusted it for free. They work perfectly again now ! He is so honest and trustworthy; always saving me time and money. Thanks, again !

I called DJ’s on Monday because my check engine light came on in the car, and it was starting to delay (for lack of a better description) at times when shifting. They inspected the car, found a minor item that needed cleaning that caused both the light and the delay, fixed it and test drove the car to double check everything. Ive only brought my car here once before, yet they took care of this for me right away and didnt charge me anything! i couldnt believe it. Everywhere else is minimum a billion dollars just for an inspection… these guys clearly are honest and have my business forever!
