After a few botched visits with other stylists (who shall remain nameless). I am super particular about my hair and who cuts it. I found Jamie on Unilocal after several weeks of looking. Called for an appointment and got in within the week! She spent a lot of time with me letting me explain what I was looking for. I showed her pictures etc. and she understood my nervousness. She did a fantastic job on the cut and she now has a client that will follow her anywhere! With such short notice on the appointment she didn’t have time to do color so I came back the next day. I went dark (level 4, I don’t think I’ve ever done a level 4) with deep red in it. It looks dark when I’m inside and then when I go out doors depending on how the light hits it either really red or an almost blackberry color! All in all I am happy with the color. I would give Jamie 10 stars if I could. She’s a sweetheart and has been in the biz for a long time. She’s a true stylist! Thank you Jamie, see you soon!

I went here after reading all the 5 star reviews. I got a cut and highlights from Jamie. The color turned out well, not as blonde as I usually go but that’s because I had lowlights put in with my normal highlights. However, I had to go back two days later to have her fix it because there was a strange, orange semicircle at the crown of my head where the foils had slipped. The color was not blonde, and it was very noticeable. I realize everyone makes mistakes and these things happen, and Jamie very nicely let me come back in 2 days later to fix it.
The reason for 3 stars is that the price is very high compared to what I’m used to paying in San Diego. I walked out of there paying $ 300…for a clarifying thing she did prior to the highlights (that I naively didn’t think to ask what the cost was and she didn’t tell me until it was time to pay, it was $ 60), a $ 75 haircut, $ 130 highlights and a shampoo and conditioner that was promised to be amazing.
While Jamie was very nice and fun to talk to, my cut and color didn’t look much different from the other salons I’ve been to in San Diego and paid between $ 130 -$ 150 for the same services. If her prices were lower I would give her 4 or 5 stars, but unfortunately I can’t afford to go back with such high prices :(

Margarite has been taking care of my hair for over ten years and has always done an outstanding job. I often receive questions and positive comments about my hair style. She is easy going, professional and always makes me feel at ease. (She has never been one to ask her customers to post reviews such as this.) The Salon is in a nice location in downtown Campbell and has always had a soothing atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend Margarite to anyone.

I have gotten my haircut there for a long while now and I have to say I am very impressed. Jamie is very personal and takes the time to understand exactly what you want and expect out of your appointment. Her knowledge and personality is unlike anyone I have ever met. She genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. I can tell it’s not really work for her it’s more like she’s creating art. I have been going to her for over a year now and she never stops learning different techniques to keep up with what is the new in styles. No matter how long it may take she works her butt off to make sure it is perfect and you love the end result. I have yet to be disappointed. People may think she’s a little pricey. But you honestly get way more than what you pay for. I am a very picky person when it comes to someone cutting my hair. I want someone who I can trust to do a great job every single time. I want someone to be honest with me about what they think will look the best and someone who loves what they do. That person is Jamie. There is no one I would trust more than her to cut my hair. Thank you Jamie for all you do and your hard work.

Jamie is amazing! I’m super picky about my hair and how it’s gets done. But after the first time I went to Jamie, I had no complaints about the color or cut. She listens to me every time, makes suggestions, and does a wonderful job every time. I have gotten the detox treatment, smoothing treatment, conditioning treatment, hair cuts, and colors, all at different times. Each time I have left very happy. She wants to make sure your hair is taken care of, even when you’re not in your chair. Jamie has tried all the fads and everything in between, so if you want to know ask and she’ll give you her honest opinion about things and how it might work for you. Not only is Jamie great at her job but she is an axing person too and I have a great time every time I see her! Thanks Jamie!

This place was amazing! I walked in here out of the blue since I was in the area and in need of a haircut and they gave me a great cut! Everyone who works there is friendly, especially the one who cut my hair, Jamie. Right when I sat down, we made small talk and I found out that she learned to cut hair at a prestigious school in London! After I heard that, I knew that she was going to give me a top notch haircut. Being Asian, I know that we generally grow out hair different from most other races so I was a little worried as to how she was going to cut it but rest assured, she told me that she specialized in giving Asian people haircuts. As repetitive as this may sound, she’s EXTREMELY friendly and great at keeping a conversation going so you’re not just sitting there waiting for your haircut to finish. She gives great life advice so you’re basically getting a haircut and a few minutes of therapy along with it. This place is definitely something else and I’d recommend everyone who needs a haircut to get one here. The shop is also very decorative and gives a great atmosphere, too. They have a little dog walking around and everyone who works there seems to love their customers and their jobs. This place is great and Jamie is even greater. Anyone who cares even a bit about how their hair looks should get a haircut here. Oh I almost forgot, she gives great advice for places to eat! She’s basically a personal Unilocal so be sure to ask her for amazing places to eat while you’re there.

Before I had to move away from California, Jamie was my stylist for over 20 years. She is constantly learning new techniques and is a master colorist. I always walked out of her salon happy and looking amazing! She will never be equaled!

Margurite Nelson has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 15 years. There are many reasons why I have been using her for so long. I find myself completely at ease sitting in her chair every four weeks. She is a friendly and compassionate companion for my frequent visits. She is 100% reliable and always on time. Her prices are reasonably and I believe to be competitive in her industry. Fringe Hair Studio is a comfortable and relaxing place to visit. I highly recommend Margurite for all of your hair needs. And last but not least… her «up-do’s» are amazing too!!!

Jamie is the best!!! I have been going to her for years. I would not trust anyone else to do my hair. Her coloring is wonderful. She keeps herself updated on the latest and best colors for hair. I can’t believe someone would give her a bad review. If you want the best cut and or color, you need to go to Jamie!

Jamie has been cutting and coloring my hair for years. She is an expert with color: matching shades to your complexion and applying multiple colors in exciting ways! Her reds don’t fade and her blondes are beautiful. Trust Jamie with your hair and you won’t be disappointed and you will never need to find another stylist! The Studio is comfortable and inviting and all the ladies are friendly.

Anyone who has ever tried blonde highlights knows just how easy it is to get the WRONG color. Well, I’m writing this review to give major props and kudos to Jamie as she is a phenomenal colorist. Not only does Jamie stay up on her «hair education», but she is like watching a mad scientist at work to ensure she gets just the right coloring for me. More importantly, Jamie is always very careful to ensure my hair is in the best condition possible and always uses product that leaves my hair feeling better after coloring than it was when I walked in for my appointment. My entire family now goes to Jamie — including my 16-​year old Daughter (that in itself should tell you how good she is :-). Thank you, Jamie, for always doing a fantastic job!

Fringe salon is both unique in style and in the peronalities! Always professional and «cutting edge», Jolene and her crew offer more than an average trip to your stylist. The environment/​décor are JoJo «hip» and the vibe superb! You’ll leave both loving your hair and the girls! I highly recommend Fringe hair salon!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Jolene for years. This place has progressed into a groovy little hair place in a few years. Since she bought out the place next to her and expanded the size and had the place remodeled, it’s quite cool!
Jolene is excellent with hair coloring and cutting. I highly recommend her and Fringe.

It is so hard to find someone who cuts your hair the way you want it. I just got my hair cut yesterday, and cannot believe how good it looks. Jamie has been cutting my hair for years, and I couldn’t be happier. She is always up on the new trends, and I cannot even explain how good my hair looks when I walk out the door. And it keeps looking good! Jamie is so sweet, kind, and warm. She makes you feel comfortable and beautiful — what more could you want? Rates are reasonable, salon is clean and fun. I will be going back for years to come.

Jaime has been cutting my hair for about 2 years and I absolutely love her. She takes the time to check in and really make sure she’s giving me the cut and style I want. She cuts both wet and dry to make sure it looks good, which is the sign of a great stylist to me. When I’m in her chair I feel like a piece of art, as she works her magic, really putting her attention to detail in every cut. She takes the time to get it perfect and I’m always super happy with the results. THanks Jaime!

Fringe is a clean, quaint hair studio located in the heart of lovely downtown Campbell, and very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their biggest asset is my stylist Joanna Pollard! She really takes her time in giving you the «perfect» haircut for your type of hair and shape of face (no matter how difficult your hair type is! She wants you to be 110% happy, before you leave! You tell her what you want, she gives her professional opinion (again baed on YOU) and then you work together!

I have been going to Jamie at Fringe for over 3 years now. She is the most amazing stylist I have ever been too (and I have had many). She knows what I to do with my hair even when I don’t. Cut, color, she does it all! She is just spectacular. i haven’t had any cuts or color with the other girls, but they are all very nice and their work looks good.

I have been getting my hair cut my Jamie since I was 2 years old. I am now 22 and still going to her, she’s always going to classes to keep up with the latest male and female haircuts and always does a great job! She has been a family friend for years and is a very trust worthy honest person.
