Marvellous! This is the first and only Phở restaurant I have 5-starred :) 1. Spacious diner-style seating in a pleasant stripmall with lots of parking. 2. Perfectly balanced taste in all dishes and quality ingredients like wild shrimp, seabass and salmon. 3. Family friendly and accomodating. 4. Ample portions even considering price. 5. Professional, polite wait-staff. And they are honest. Ran after me with my wallet ;)

The overall restaurant is spacious and has a great bar space. Seating was fast and courteous. The food also came out very quick! What I didn’t love, and why three instead of four stars was the service. We were seated and placed our orders quickly, however once our food came out we weren’t checked on again until the end of the meal and I wasn’t able to locate our waitress either. We had been given only one small plate of basil and toppings, despite ordering two soup dishes so I wanted to ask for more. This sadly never happened and I was disappointed that no one checked on us the entire meal. It was after the busy lunch rush and wasn’t super crowded so there was not an obvious reason for not returning to our table. We also weren’t offered dessert. The phở was good… Flavor was on point but my noodles were all stuck together. I had to cut them to loosen them up. Not sure why that happened but it’s never happened before when I’ve eaten phở so it made me question the quality of the preparation. They do seem to have a good variety of dishes that might be worth trying. I was visiting so likely won’t be back for several months and will likely go elsewhere, somewhere with better service next time. But that’s because when I visit I want a home run with food. If I lived local I’d definitely give this place another shot!

Excellent service, food, ambience. My go-to place for phở even though it’s drive. A++++

My wife and I came for lunch and we order phở. The noodle soup was average comparing to other places nearby. Prices are bit higher than other Vietnamese restaurant. On the other hand, service was excellent. Waiters were very attentive, quick and friendly. They do say good-bye when you leave. So I’m giving an extra star for the service.

16 bux for Mi Tom Cua and it was not that big, small portion of calamari ring, single Shrimp and single crab claw. Egg noodles was soggy. Overall overpriced food and not worth it!

No, no, no. I’m Vietnamese born and bred, and I should have known better than to think good Vietnamese food could exist in Campbell. I should have turned around when I walked through the door and found the place all squeaky clean and filled with a predominantly white clientele. I should have fled when I opened the menu and saw«NOMSG» proudly plastered on every page(take it from me, no Vietnamese gives a damn). Instead, I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt just because they’re basically the only phở place within 5 miles of my house to feature chicken phở on their menu that wasn’t all white breast meat. So I ordered the chicken phở with thigh meat, and let me tell you, it was the most breast-like chicken thigh meat I’ve ever had. It was served skinless, and looked like it was sliced before being cooked, which of course resulted in ultra dry, overcooked meat. Basically, it was stripped of every thigh-meat-like characteristic, to the point where they might as well have stuck with the«white meat only» menu like every other place this side of CA-87. Why in the world would you put thigh meat on your menu and then serve it skinless? To top it all off, the broth was devoid of flavor and the noodles were all clumped up. The plate of herbs on the side only had lime, basil bean sprouts, and some pepper slices. No mint, no cilantro. I managed to choke down enough to not require a second dinner by dumping in a healthy dose of sriracha and picking out the thinnest of the meat slices. In short, if you’ve ever had phở anywhere with a decent Vietnamese population(i.e., not Campbell), look elsewhere. Their menu is very well written and the service is good. But it was all rendered worthless by the terrible food.

The Seafood Phở is good and also the service. I can’t believe I paid $ 16 for the soup though. The only down side about this place is the outrageous prices for okay food.

I’m from the south and we have really really good phở, but this place is definitely my favorite and now number one to eat! We ordered fried egg rolls and they had the perfect crunch and just the right am mount of filling! We also ordered chicken phở and rare beef phở. The portions of noodle to meat is perfect. We could not finish our food. I don’t care what any other review says, this is the PERFECT place to get phở. Friendly and quick service made it even better!!!

Very fresh and quality ingredients. Their menu is deep and the service is top notch… Yes this is a 5 star review as they hit every box. I’ve eaten at many PHO houses and this has the best, but not only that their whole menu is quality. Check it, you will not be disappointed.

Maybe I’m spoiled with good Vietnamese in LA, but this place was definitely not great. We started with the fresh spring rolls(ones with shrimp and beef/pork?). They were huge, but I felt like it was very unseasoned, which was kind of the problem with everything we ate. The phở combo wasn’t great. The soup base felt old or some flavor was just off. I don’t mind meats that aren’t traditionally casually consumed(tripe, some sort of cartilage?), but this didn’t taste good. Service was pretty good and our waitress was very kind, everything came out really quick. But not sure I’d come back. I like the Vietnamese place next to the Winchester Mystery House better.

I really like this restaurant, but I am sad to say that I got food poisoning from ordering one of their sea bass fried rice, one of my favorite dishes here. Unfortunately, this time caused me both throwing up and diarrhea. I hope this serves as a warning to ensure this place properly cleans up and utilizes fresh and safe ingredients, especially seafood. I think during that night, my sea bass was either undercooked(due to being too busy that night) or not fresh, which eventually caused my food poisoning. I have to say the boss, Hong, is very polite and calm when I called to inform him of this incident. His attitude made me change the rating(any food poisoning should at least leave 1-star rating) since it seems that he really cared about his restaurant’s reputation and will do better. He promised to check on the fish to ensure freshness and even walked me through on how he cooks his fish to ensure fully cooked. I will give this place another try and hope to get a better experience next time.

I’ve been here a few times, as its sometimes the closest Vietnamese restaurant near me. The staff is nice, but the food and prices could be better. It’s one of the more expensive Phở restaurants in the South Bay. I found the broth to be a bit too sweet and not savory enough. The portions were a bit small as well.

Went here with my fam the other night Cons: all you heard was the phone ring nonstop the entire time. They only picked up once every 100 rings. If you are too busy to take orders via phone, then put the phone in the kitchen or lower the volume. I got the traditional spring rolls and a side of beef soup(the side of soup is a $ 3 broth). The soup was literally hot water. That’s it. zero flavor even though it was brown and looked like it was going to be a delicious broth. I had to dump salt in it to be able to get some down. The phở is more expensive than other places Pros: we had an excellent waitress which doesn’t happen at phở places. The traditional Spring rolls were really good and I love how they don’t put sprouts in them, I hate sprouts. And my sister got the fried shrimp wontons, those were good too.

This place isn’t too shabby. It is a little pricey for Vietnamese food but it is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The phở taste good and the spring rolls were good too. I am a sucker for the peanut sauce. I will return if I don’t want to drive far for phở.

I come here when I feel like I need a big bowl of comfort. My husband and I were feeling a bit under the weather and thought this place would cure some of that, it sure did. I had the beef lemongrass spicy soup which had an array of different meats with cartilege and a nice spicy kick to it. I was sniffling to a better night instantly. My honey had the beef stew with the egg noodles, which he liked but says the vermicelli noodles would have been even better. We added the fried chicken wings as an appetizer and they were quite tasty the wings had a sweet tangy sauce to them, almost seems like it was marinated in a sweet fish sauce and than deep fried to perfection. I had a young coconut juice, which complimented my meal. My Monday night dinner was fabulous. Thank you!

I was in the mood for something with noodles & decided to give LeQuy a chance because everyone said they don’t use MSG. Since I drive by this place all of the time, I finally popped in today. I ordered the Special Combination Dry Noodles which had snow crab claw, squid, jumbo prawn & pork slices. I told her I’d like it to go & when she rang me up, I noticed they charged 25 cents for to go items. Say what? You want to charge me for packing my food in disposable containers? I’m wondering if they charge customers when they ask for to go boxes too? Kinda ridiculous. Anyway, I went back to work and started unpacking my food. I was expecting something along the lines of Vung Tau or Nam Vang’s offerings but this was definitely different. I found a huge pile of noodles with barely any meat & some sauce in one box. Soup was in another container & fresh veggies were in a bag. The sauce was really bland and had big slices of mushroom. The broth was good so I would imagine their phở being a better pick. I guess you could say my craving was not satisfied but it wasn’t fair that I set my expectations at a certain level. At $ 15 for my lunch, I was expecting a much better meal. Perhaps I should’ve gone with the phở or the shaking beef but oh well. I know better than to rely on Campbell for a Viet place now. Save your money & find a place in SJ!

Let’s start off with a positive. The place is very well lit and clean. :) Now, let’s get real. The pricing here is pretty off-the-charts ridiculous. I understand we’re in Campbell, but this ain’t Los Gatos. The bf ordered his usual go-to Phở choice and I ordered the chicken vermicelli noodle bowl(Bun Ga Nuong). According to the bf, the broth needed to be drained out cause it was a little too«beefy» for his liking, and this is a beefy bodybuilder type who’s telling me this. My noodles were thin and the portion size was pretty shocking for how much the bowl was priced at. On top of that, my chicken tasted like they cooked it the day before and reheated it. So sorry to this place but it really does give SoCal restaurants a full STAMP of approval for best Vietnamese food out there besides in the homeland.

Having read Matthew J.‘s review that white people are allowed here I put this one on my list right away. The staff was warm and welcoming and we were seated right away. The restaurant was busy as expected on a Friday night. Nice ambiente, especially since they continued the Christmas deco well into February. The menu offers GLUTEN&MSGFREE items — unlike many other, inexpensive Asian eateries, this one you can actually trust. And, oh boy, the food did not disappoint. The CHICKENNOODLEPHO(with free range chicken, $ 11) was flavorful and had the right amount of spiciness. The ROCK N ROLLBEEFRICEPLATE($ 14) with cubed filet mignon sautéed in a special homemade sauce, with steamed rice and green salad was super delicious, the beef tender and well marinated. My favorite! I’ll keep this one on the list — great Viet food in the South Bay, friends!

Having experienced the worst phở MSG induced headache 2 days before dining here, I was game to try Le Quy. First thing that made me happy: NOMSG boldly written on the menu.(YESSS!) then the words free-range, organic ingredients used and gluten free options available, I started chuckling to myself and thinking: «what have we gotten ourselves into?!» Just to up the fun factor a notch, I ordered the salmon phở. It’s exactly what you think it is: like phở ga, but they use salmon. Needless to say, it was an interesting concept and I liked the fact that it was a healthy meal for me. The broth was bland so feel free to douse it with sriracha or add more limes. Bf was really happy and satisfied with his filet mignon beef cubes over rice. Prices are higher than normal, what do you expect? It’s Americanized Viet food! :p
