Established in 2008.

MIRA Events + Design (formerly Divine Affairs Event Design) was started in 2008 in Los Gatos, California with one simply mission: Help people celebrate life. Since then, we have grown to design and execute gorgeous weddings, enhance birthday, anniversary and other milestone celebrations, as well as organize and manage large corporate soirees and galas. Our mission has never changed. Whether your event is big or small, we work endlessly with our clients to ensure that your event is Memorable, Imaginative, Realistic, and Amazing.

Observing the stress and chaos that people inevitably encounter when planning an event (one that more often than not, was meant to celebrate a joyous occasion) made me want to provide a solution that only helped create well organized events, but events that evoked an urge to celebrate love and life with passion. Never again did I want to see a bride brought to tears on her wedding day due to the stress of unforeseen details, or a milestone birthday go uncelebrated because no one had the time of energy to plan a party. We have one life to live and one heart to love with– let’s celebrate them both… as much as possible :)

I can’t say enough positive things about Miranda and her company. She honestly made our dream wedding come to life. She was there for us throughout the entire process, and went above and beyond our expectations. She took the vision we had and really helped us to create that vision while keeping us sane and on budget. She provided great recommendations for our design and vendors that would fit with our vision, and worked with them to make the day go smoothly.
Miranda made our wedding day truly amazing. She took care of all of the details, got the vendors set up, problem solved, and kept the day moving how we wanted to. She made us feel very special and important through her attention to detail, her support, and her staff. Miranda and her team did an incredible job on our intimate Indian/Mexican fusion wedding last year. She really understood us and our vision for the wedding, and made our ideas come to life in ways that were better than I imagined. She and her team were always receptive and responsive to anything that came up; they coordinated with all my other vendors, put together a timeline so everyone knew what to expect, and made me feel like they had my back the whole time (which, as a bride, was invaluable). The décor they created for our sangeet was colorful and exuberant (and is still up now, even over a year later), and our wedding and reception came together beautifully. Hiring Miranda and her team was one of the best choices I made for my wedding! Thank you for keeping me calm, keeping the party going, and (most importantly) saving me from that monster spider!

Prefect execution, professional and on top of it. I’ve done event planning for work events before so I knew I was going to need a pro for a big wedding. I paid her only for month of planning, not design. But I got so much more. She was available to me via email long before the month of. She helped me sort through the mess of vendors, reviewed my contracts, and met with me on site even before the month started.
She got a great deal on rentals for me, and provided multiple day of staff. That was the best part. And she took care of cleanup. She was so good that we had her help with the rehearsal dinner too.
I strongly recommend Miranda to all my friends who are planning their weddings or events. Best vendor/partner I had by far.

I would just like to say that Miranda at Divine Affairs has been nothing but absolutely amazing. I would recommend anyone that is having a wedding/event in calfornia to use her services.
