History

Established in 1995.

Silicon Valley Images began in 1995 offering commercial aerial and architectural photography services to the Bay area. In 2006 SVI added private photography classes and workshops to its services.

Meet the Business Owner

Paul D.

Business Owner

Paul began his career in 1974 as a Photographer and Diver with the U.S. Navy’s Combat Camera Group. After the Navy he worked as a staff photographer for Ocean Sports International Magazine and as a Civilian Underwater, Scientific and Technical photographer for the U.S. Navy. In 1995 Paul started Silicon Valley Images specializing in architectural and aerial photography. Paul’s credits include photos published in magazines as well as awards in international photo competition. Film and video Paul has shot has appeared in two PBS series, «Nova» and «The New Explorers».

Teaching experience:

In addition to teaching his own photography classes, Paul has taught photography for REI Outdoor schools where he was a member of the curriculum development team to set nationwide standards for REI photography classes. Paul is currently a photography advisor to the Mission Valley Regional Occupation Program putting his experience to work helping define curriculums to train future photographers.
