History

Established in 1978.

Founded in 1978, Susan McDonnell and Associates has been creating many successful restaurant interiors, fast casual concepts, cafés, bakery’s, banquet rooms, gastro pubs, breweries and bars for more than three decades.

We specialize in creating comfortable, inviting public spaces as well as functional food service areas for our happy clients. By continually inventing creative solutions for our clients’ needs, we have built a quality reputation with restaurant owners both locally and nationally.

Our design passion to use state of the art energy conservation in our food service equipment planning and lighting design has created happy clients.

Sharing the many wonderful years of the food service industry and interior design knowledge at the Hospitality Department at Mission college in San Jose is truly a mutual gift of passion for the real people of our industry.
