I was suffering with weekly incapacitating headaches and Dr Strauss has kept me headache free for years. Highly skilled and compassionate, she brings a wealth of experience to her patients. We are currently chipping away at a 30 year chronic lower back condition which is the best it has been in my adult lifetime. And that cramp I was having for the last 6 months in my left foot when I swam turned out to be a bone in the foot that needed to be adjusted! Definitely worth the drive from Redwood City! Thank you Dr. Strauss!

Fantastic! I have been to several different chiropractors all throughout my life but Dr Strauss’ practice is a rare find. I am often amazed by, and always deeply appreciative of, Dr. Strauss’ care. She is competent and confident while still listening, having an open mind and a wonderful demeanor. Her flexibility in techniques speaks to her intuitive and mature chiropractic skills. She obviously knows what she is doing but her bedside manor (along with her staff member’s) is comforting and positive. Not only are my chronic headaches gone, but it has been years since my overall body has felt this pain free and mobile. I have been seeing Dr. Strauss for several months now and am so glad I have found her!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Strauss for a few years now and thanks to her I haven’t had a full blown migraine in years. The last «episode» I felt coming on and immediately called Holly to see if I could get in that day to see Dr. Strauss. Not only was I in the office in an hour, but I was able to get a last minute massage to ease the pain. The next day I was back to normal. She also was my saving grace earlier in the year when I had numbness in my left hand and my neck was on fire.
Added bonus is having Holly — who is an amazing assistant! She’s responsive and understanding.

I’ve been going to Dr. Paula for almost 15 years (yes, she’s that good!). She is a great listener and hones in on the trouble spot every time. Dr. Paula has helped me through numerous issues like neck and lower back pain, to numbness in my right quad. Not only does she perform the right adjustment for the issue at hand, she’s always eager to suggest appropriate exercises to help strengthen weak areas and help the healing process. Holly keeps everything moving up front and has always been very helpful with deciphering insurance coverage (not a mean feat). I have been counting on Dr. Paula Strauss for many years now to take care of me but, moreover, she has been a valuable resource to refer my personal training clients to. We often see new clients who are out of alignment, have neck issues, back issues, etc. By referring our clients to Dr. Strauss, we know we are safe taking the clients through strength training, dynamic movement and a variety of exercises safely. I was living (more like suffering) with neck and shoulder pain for years until I realized I would not be able to care for my toddler unless I took care of myself first. That was over 7 years ago. Paula’s treatments have allowed me to continue doing all the things I love to do! She and her staff uphold the highest standard of professionalism and courtesy. She really enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients. She is one of the nicest, funniest, smartest people you’ll ever meet. Holly, receptionist extraordinaire, is so good at explaining all the insurance mumbo-​jumbo to you.
The few times that I needed to be seen immediately, her office has been very flexible and accommodating. Her operation is run so smoothly that I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen at an appointment. I trust her completely with my care. I even continued to receive adjustments during my 2^nd pregnancy. My two young daughters are patients of hers as well. I also really appreciate that she offers massage therapy on-​site. An added plus is that you can book your massages online!
Her new office is located in Campbell, across from the Pruneyard, with plenty of parking, a recent move from her old office on Hamilton. You may have seen her sign when driving along Hamilton. I’m glad she didn’t move too far away but I would’ve followed her a much greater distance had that been the case. I have and will continue to recommend Paula to anyone who needs chiropractic care!

I injured my back in the mid 70’s and suffered for 20+ years with on and off severe back pain and headaches. I went to several chiropractors and none of them could help me until I met Dr. Paula Strauss. She took x-​rays of my neck and showed me how it was out of alignment — it was plain as day, no other chiropractor did that for me. Since Dr. Strauss started treating me my life has changed. I feel much more healthy, I breath better and backaches are a thing of the past. One thing for sure is that I would never entertain the idea of changing my chiropractor.

I had daily neck pain for over 5 years, it becoming acute when sitting. I have had gone through many different physicians, medications, MRIs, x-​rays, physical therapists, and other chiropractors (in that order). All this is to say my pain problem was not an easy one to remedy, and I was having very limited success with no end in sight.
That is, until I found Dr. Strauss via Unilocal,having seen her specialty in upper cervical care. The first thing I need to say about Dr. Strauss is that her treatment has really, truly worked.
I have gone from daily, frequent pain and 3 visits/​week to minimal pain and 1 visit /​6 weeks over time. This is not to say that I can neglect treatment now. But having come from a world of mentally-​draining daily pain, I am very thankful for Dr. Strauss and the relief I have found. I do not think about pain anymore and can instead think about normal activities again.
Now a laundry list of all the other good stuff on Dr. Strauss:
— She is incredibly friendly, really listens, and explains her treatments clearly and thoroughly. I have found these qualities to be very important, especially when the required treatment was over a longer period. It takes a little trust to see the treatment through, and all these things build that trust.
— Wait time is one of shortest I’ve experienced.
— Holly, the very friendly receptionist, looked up my insurance without a blip.
— Dr. Strauss does not do needless adjustments.
— Dr. Strauss has magic hands when working those knots.

Dr. Paula Strauss is AMAZING!!!
I have been suffering with daily headaches for 21 years. I’ve had it all — CT scans, MRI’s, regular chiropractic care, PAINFUL muscle stripping and massage therapy. I’ve done the Master Cleanse, and tried many dietary changes such as removing gluten from my diet, going to raw vegan to trying this herb and that supplement. I just started to think this was just the way it was going to be.
Dr. Strauss did a full evaluation with me including x-​rays. After she had time to go over my paperwork and x-​rays, she told me that basically my head wasn’t sitting on my spine straight. Who would have know that 1 mm could cause such issues?
After my first treatment my headaches started to significantly decrease. She also performed some trigger therapy on a grizzly knot I had near my left hip that had been plaguing me for about 2 years that even a regular chiropractor was not able to treat with weekly and sometimes bi-​weekly treatments. Dr. Strauss was able to get rid of it in about 5 minutes.
Dr. Strauss has changed my life in a huge way — I will never go anywhere else. So if you are having headaches, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE HEADACHE DOCTOR OF CAMPBELL.
One more thing… I failed to mention Holly. Holly manages the front office — she is extremely nice and very good at what she does. When I called to make my first appointment, she asked if I wanted her to call my insurance company to find out the terms of my benefits. I’ve never had anyone do that for me — it was nice that she went through the extra effort.
