Courtney was great! By far the best waxing experience I’ve had. The spa was very clean and the service was great! I will definitely be back.

Touch to Heal is a beautiful and clean facility, just as numerous reviews state. I went in today for a Brazilian wax. Unfortunately, it was a very frustrating experience.
The esthetician was 10 minutes late. She was disorganized, frazzled, and not particularly friendly. The appointment also ran over 40 minutes. In the many years I have been waxed, none of my Brazilians have taken more than 20.
The esthetician’s technique was awful. She had difficulty getting the hard wax to lift so she would try every corner, pulling the strips of hard wax in different directions across my bikini area. She left a lot of hair despite my request of having it all removed. When I asked her to remove the remainder, she told me that she didn’t see any of it. «Maybe I need glasses,» she replied. She tried waxing me again. When I told her that there was still hair left, she began arguing with me about how she didn’t see any. When I pointed some out, she decided to start plucking the hairs, which were in the most sensitive areas. I told her that I did not come to the spa to argue. I requested that the appointment end and that she leave for me to get dressed despite the result being inadequate.
When I got to the front to check out, I left a tip and asked to speak with a manager. The man at the front desk said he was the spa’s manager. I offered fair and constructive criticism. I let him know that the esthetician needed to practice her technique as well as her customer service. I told him that I should not have to argue with the esthetician to remove hair if I am paying… to get hair removed. He replied, «I am sorry. I wish there was something I could do for you but there is nothing I can.» Such an unfortunate response as the spa’s manager.

I woke up in pain. My neck, upper back, and head hurt. I did a quick search to try to find a place that would take a walk-​in. Bryan was so nice to take me in at the last minute. This place was clean and had all the right touches of lighting and music to help me have a full experience of my senses. He did such a great job. He really knows what he is doing. I can feel his 18 years of experience in his hands. He uses the right pressure. I was so grateful to this place for taking such good care of me. I decided to buy the package deal it is very reasonable and gives me the option to come when I want or give it as a gift. Thank you A touch to heal spa.

I was debating writing a review, because I never really do these, but the more the time has gone on, the angrier I became about the situation, so i decided to write about my experience and let others know how it ended. I bought a groupon for 3 brazilian waxes from here for $ 60 which seemed like a great deal ($ 240 value), so I tried them out. When I went the first time, it was an awesome experience. The whole procedure was as painless as possible, quick, and comfortable. I loved the lady who did it for me, I believe her name was Tiffany. She made the whole experience, I would have given them 5 stars based on that one time. At the end of that appointment we scheduled the other 2 waxes, each a month apart, and I had requested that it be with her again, which she said it would be. So, a month goes by and I actually realized that I had missed my appointment by a few days and was shocked that I was not notified or reminded. So I called and scheduled it for a few days later. I had asked if it would be with Tiffany, who is also the front desk receptionist and I realized she wasn’t the one answering the phone, so I wanted to confirm it would be with her. They said she had been in a car accident and was on leave, obviously I completely understood this and decided to go ahead with my appointment with someone else. When I returned for the 2^nd time, I was early by 5 minutes, the new receptionist (Niki) said that I will be taken back in a few minutes. 20 minutes roll by, mind you I’m the only one waiting, and employees are coming in and out of the waiting area, nobody is saying anything to me. I have to ask Niki, is my lady running late? She seemed like she didn’t know and went in the back to grab someone. Right away 2 ladies come out and talk to her and then to each other in their own language which seemed to be that they were figuring out where I would go. So from the beginning, they weren’t very organized. Finally, they tell me to follow them and take me to the Thai massage room and gave me instructions, which sounded more like a massage. I informed them that I was there for a brazilian wax and she seemed confused and made me walk back out to the waiting area and after a few minutes of deliberating, Niki takes me to the wax room and says she will be right back to do my wax. So I was sitting and waiting for 30 minutes for nothing! Just for niki to say, she was the lady to do it for me the whole time! So, by this point I am already annoyed, but just let it go. Niki did my wax and was very sweet, although I was not happy with the service at all. She took forever! I was sitting in the «butterfly» position for an hour! Never once did she ask if I was okay, or uncomfortable. She talked and talked and talked and it seemed she was more into what she was saying than focused on getting me in and out of there, and taking her sweet time. By the time she was done and I was getting off the table to get dressed, my legs buckled under me and I almost fell over because my hips were soo uncomfortable and weak from being in that position for so long! i was pissed. I walked out and made sure my next appointment was still scheduled from the previous time, and of course it wasn’t. So, i had to reschedule my 3^rd wax and i asked if it could be withTiffany and Niki said that she no longer worked there… so now I don’t know what the real story was there. Later that day I had my boyfriend look at the job she did and he said that there was still a lot of hair and she didn’t even do the full Brazilian, just the bikini. Again, I was livid. I sat there for an hour of a very painful, uncomfortable experience and the job wasn’t even done! i called them right away and Niki answered and I told her that she didn’t complete the procedure, she didn’t even apologize or seem to want to remedy the situation. I now had to schedule a time the next morning to come back and finish it, and now waste more of my time. The next morning came and I actually couldn’t make the appointment and expected them to call me and reschedule, and of course they didn’t. You would think they would care to follow up on an unhappy customer. Weeks have gone by now and still nothing. I am so pissed at this point, I don’t know what to do about the situation, since my 3^rd wax is coming up and it seems that the only option I have is to go back to Niki. I have a wax I already paid upfront for, and am ready to just cut my losses and go elsewhere, because clearly they don’t care about their customers leaving happy or giving any decent customer service, and I WILL NOT go through that pain again, just to leave with an unfinished product. So, I decided to write a review to warn others, because i already know no one from this spa will reach out to me and remedy the situation.

Just had a massage with Brian. I had lower back surgery less than a year ago and he was very careful. I was a bit uncertain about getting a massage, but he knew exactly where to work and he was attentive to my concerns. one hour simply was not enough. Next time I am going for 90 minutes.

What a clean, beautiful spa with very talented therapists and reasonable prices. I’ve gotten a membership which makes prices and payments even easier. I’ve never been disappointed with any facial or massage received here. A very healing environment with very professional staff.

The spa is so esthetic, spotlessly clean. just by being there is a wonderful relaxation healing process. I had a 1 hour session massage which is very thorough, and Amy did a great job in relaxing all parts of my body. Then Rebeca did a custom make up on me, the foundation color is very natural and tailor made to fit my native skin, all the on the market cosmetic products can come close to that effect.

This spa is just beautiful. From the lobby, to the rooms, and the bathroom too! I came in today for my Brazilian wax by Nicki. She is by far the BEST Esthetician I’ve ever met! I had an appointment at 10 AM came in a little early, and was accommodated right away. Nicki was so nice and professional, she made my experience fun as well. Definitely my go to for waxing now. Love this place!

I booked the «Mother’s Day special» here and it turned out to not be the greatest experience I’ve had. I would only recommend this spa for people who love Asian-​style massage work done on them. I personally am not the biggest fan. Having my muscles beaten down by cupped hands, karate chopped all over and having my nerve endings pinched doesn’t exactly make me feel relaxed. Would not go again solely because I do not like this type of massage. I don’t know if it is «Thai» specifically, however it is not what I want to pay $ 200, when I can get this type of work done anywhere else for $ 20-​$ 40. The facial felt ok, but then I got another mini «Thai massage» during and it didn’t feel super awesome. I walked away with my mind super busy and full of anxiety… though now that no one is touching me, my muscles do feel more relaxed than before I went in. The customer service is sweet and well mannered.

Made reservation a few days before. There were plenty of parking spaces in the front or in the garage right next to the spa (Merrill Garden Garage), good for retail customers. The spa lobby was very inviting with modern décor. Came here with a friend and they were able to put us both in the double massage room. The room was very clean. Atmosphere was very serene. We were able to tell the masseuse how strong or light of a massage we preferred. Restrooms were also very clean and modern. Overall a very good experience. Would come back again!

I had an awesome prenatal massage with Amy. This was my first prenatal massage and I wasn’t sure what to expect. My chiropractor told me there were a few points to avoid during my pregnancy, but Amy mentioned them right when we met, before I said anything. She is absolutely fantastic. I’ve had horrible back pain from all of the weight I’ve gained so she just focused on my back for an hour and it was amazing. I’ve already told my pregnant and non-​pregnant buddies about this place. You should definitely check it out if you haven’t already!

I go to Touch to Heal Spa on a regular basis. The spa is just a relaxing environment and a great place to unwind. I usually do a 90 minute hot stone massage and it’s something I look forward to once a month with my membership. I highly recommend Touch to Heal to anyone that just needs to relax or anyone that is sore or has back pain.

The spa itself is absolutely gorgeous. I got a great introductory rate for Massage Gift Certificates and decided to share with a girlfriend of mine who needed some R&R. I decided to try something new and my therapist Kamie implemented some Thai massage in with the regular Swedish massage. I really enjoyed it, she actually walked on my back and her scalp massage was amazing. Be advised she will ask you to put on some very huge sumo wrestler type bottoms!
My friend, who I thought I’d surprise, apparently isn’t a huge fan of massages. Despite this she was able to enjoy her Swedish Massage with Brian. In my experience, you really have to just not be shy, and let your therapist know what you like and don’t like.

The Thai massage was so relaxing and awesome! My first Thai massage, but I get regular massages all the time. Spa was very clean and beautiful! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Hello again, so as you may or may not know I have been to this Spa’s first location in San Jose and LOVED IT! So I decided I HAD to go to their new spa. I had a facial and let’s just say AMAZING! When I came in I got a full tour with the owner (Single mom who built this from the ground up on her own! I saw the Bay Area tv spot that interviewed her!). It is BEAUTIFUL and so posh! You really feel high class just walking into the lobby. I was greeted by the women who would give the facial after my tour and taken to the special room just for that. It was super calming and had soft lighting and relaxing décor. I filled out a form about my wants and any medical info that pertains to the treatment (this is very important and if you have a facial and they don’t do this step LEAVE!). Then I was given a robe to change into in private and we began. The entire process was explained to me as we went (also important) and when we were done I felt like a new women! Mind you I am VERY picky with facials since I also go to my friend who is local and a pro. I am so happy I made the trip 2 hours away for this. It was an amazing time and I WILL be going back. I’m so happy I found this Spa and recommend it to everyone I know. So professional and everyone is sweet and makes you feel comfortable. I also love that it’s owned by such a sweet Women who cares deeply for all her clients.

I get my facials done with Marlen, she always does a great job and leaves my skin feeling fresh. I would recommend her to anyone. Prices are very reasonable as well.

I had such a wonderful experience here. It is such a beautiful location and the staff is friendly and welcoming. My massage was amazing and I left feeling great :)

I get my facials done by Marlen. She knows what she’s doing and helps make it super relaxing. She’s also amazing at makeup for any special event. Definitely worth paying a visit!
