Hi, my name is Christine and I have been capturing the precious memories of expecting mothers, sweet little babies, and beautiful families for the past 8 years and consider myself to have the best job in the world!

As a mother, I understand all too well the fleetingness of childhood and the importance of preserving those precious memories that you hold so close to your heart. I love capturing the eternal bond between families, the wonder in a child’s eyes, and the pure innocence of a newborn baby.

Photography has been a great passion of mine for years and has become an art form that has allowed me to capture beautiful memories for many families to cherish and preserve forever.

I am both a studio and natural light photographer and combine traditional portraiture with photojournalism. My home studio is located in Campbell, California and I serve San Jose and surrounding SF Bay area!

Christine is hands down the best maternity and baby photographer! She knows her craft and she knows what poses would work for each individual. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The photos turned out so nice that so many of my friends and family insist that I submit them to a magazine!
While I’m at the end of my pregnancy and not feeling that hot as of late, the photos Christine took of me will always make me feel like a super sexy mom-​to-​be!

We found Christine through Unilocal.After seeing all the great reviews, we went to her website and were blown away at the quality and diversity of her photos. We have a newborn and thought that her style would be the right fit.
We are super happy we chose her. She is professional, kind, and very accommodating. The pics of our son are absolutely phenomenal. I am still amazed that she managed to get him in these poses. We are so happy with our decision and now have these wonderful pictures that we can’t stop looking at.
She works from her home and she will do everything to make you feel at home. We certainly did. Just a great experience from start to finish.

We had our sweet baby photographed at 6 weeks for his newborn photos. Even though the timing wasn’t perfect (fussy LO) Christine was able to capture soo many beautiful moments. She was patient and understanding and extended the session a bit to make sure we were pleased with the photos. Being first time parents and out of the house with the baby for one of the first times we felt very comfortable with Christine. Christine has an incredible eye, quite the collection of newborn props and a warm personality which made her the best choice for our baby’s photographer. We would recommend Christine to any new parents and look forward to our 1 year old cake smash shoot!

Christine Miao was referred to us by friends who knew we wanted the best newborn photographer for our baby boy. She exceeded our expectations with her work. I absolutely recommend Two a leaf photography for all of your portrait needs. She is truly passionate about working with babies and families, and it shows in her work. Christine’s studio is in her home, which makes for a more intimate and personal experience. She has beautiful props and accessories, especially for infant photography. Everything about her set up was centered around keeping the baby happy, safe and comfortable. She was super patient and allowed breaks for feedings. When my baby peed on several of her sets, she was totally unfazed and sweet, despite my total embarrassment! Her prices are not cheap, but she will work with you to customize her different packages to find something that works for your needs. Honestly, we stressed about the prices before returning to see our proofs, but once we saw those gorgeous photos – we knew immediately that it was money well spent. The photos are beyond outstanding. I can’t tell you how many compliments we have received from family and friends. Incidentally, Christine also does pregnancy photo shoots, which all look stunning, and other family portraits. We can’t wait to return to Two Leaf and Christine for future milestones in the life of our family – she is super talented and wonderful to work with.

So pleased with the way all of our pictures turned out, it was extremely hard to choose. Even though our baby girl was 4 weeks old we still achieved the newborn look along with some smiley pictures. Christine was awesome with the way she handled our baby and got her to sleep most of the shoot thanks so much!

With the excitement of being a new mom I completely forgot to book a newborn session for my baby. When I finally remembered how much I wanted to capture this special time of our lives my baby was already turning 4 weeks old… Time flies what else can I say! I immediately contacted a couple photographers. After contacting Christine I decided to book with her. She was prompt, and made me feel like I could still get breathtaking pictures of my little one despite her age. To my luck, she was able to accommodate us within a week!
When I arrived at her studio she was waiting for us with coffee water and other snacks. She has the cutest and coziest home studio with a couch and a tv which you can feel free to use to relax while she takes care of baby. I was honestly a little worried about the photoshoot and didn’t know what to expect since my baby was already 5 weeks old, and from what I read, the older they get the harder it is to photograph but Christine is truly a pro and taking pictures of my 1 ½ month old baby was a piece of cake for her!
Aside from all the amazing pictures of my baby and the great quality, I am amazed at her customer service. Truly exceptional services. I will be definitely booking with her again for one little one’s first birthday! This time I will be sure to book in advance :)

I have 4 kids, so family photos are usually a bit of an ordeal, but Christine made this experience not only painless, but a good memory for our family, with great pictures. We did pictures at Vasona, and our family felt so comfortable. It was like a walk in the park with a family friend along. The kids were excited to have her take their picture, and we didn’t feel rushed or overly posed. She managed to get amazing pictures of all 6 of us, together and individually. These pictures will be treasured in our family forever, and we’re grateful to Christine for capturing the moments.

I loved working with Christine and I adore the beautiful photos she took of my 3 month old baby & 3 yr old son. It was such a pleasure to work with her. The photos came out GORGEOUS! She is a gifted photographer. Not only is she great at her work, she is delightful to work with. She was easy to get in touch with, schedule, and she had many ideas for the shoot. She also has many many props and backgrounds, and was so patient when my youngest was getting tired and hungry. While I am feeding, she was capturing pictures of my oldest son, and those turned out beautiful as well!
I am so grateful for finding her and for the photos; she sent me a package of our album we ordered and even the wrapping was lovely and thoughtful. I can’t wait to work with her again the future. Highly highly recommend!

We LOVED working with Christine for our baby girl’s first birthday milestone photo session! Christine was easy to work with from the start — she was prompt in returning emails and answering my many questions from outfits to scheduling. On the day of the photoshoot — instead of jumping right into it — I appreciate how she allowed us to get to know her a little bit and for our baby girl to get acquainted with her studio space. Christine is really gifted in working with kids — she had all the props and toys to make sure our baby girl was smiling and attentive on the camera. :D We received our edited photos earlier than expected and absolutely in LOVE with the album we purchase. This is definitely very memorable for us and will be treasure for years to come. I have been admiring Christine’s work for a few years now and finally had the chance to book a session with her before her big move to Cali. I have two young boys who are difficult to photograph and Christine was an absolute joy to work with! She made the session as stress free as possible and comfortable and I felt as though I was just chatting with an old friend. My husband and I used Two Leaf for our daughter’s newborn photo shoot. Christine was really great and easy to work with! We were a little worried how the shoot would go since we weren’t sure how our two-​week old would behave or if she’d even fall asleep, even though we adhered to the tips and guidelines she provided. Luckily, the environment in the studio helped to lull her to sleep and when she was awake, Christine was still able to capture some great images. She also listened to what we wanted and incorporated some ideas we found online. The images turned out beautiful and everyone we shared the pics with love them!

Christine did our newborn photos and she did an AMAZING job. I researched a lot of photographers and Two Leaf came recommended by a few people. I knew I wanted to get newborn photos before regretting not getting it later since they are the most precious moments! I am SO glad I did. Our sweet little girl was 6 days old and Christine was so gentle, so professional, so sweet and it was a lot of fun. We initially wanted to go for the least expensive option, as I was not planning to spend a lot on photos but when I saw the finished product, I couldn’t help but get the most expensive package and they turned out beautifully. She did a video in the beginning and I cried pretty much the whole time. She is so talented, I highly recommend her! All of our family and friends love our photos and every time I look at them and look at my growing girl now, I am even more happy with them. Thank you Christine for cherishing our precious moments on camera.

What I like the most about Two Leaf is their experience in handling babies and toddlers. The family portrait service they provide is exceptional and much attention and effort is spent on making sure the kids are safe and comfortable on the stage before the actual shoot, which I appreciated very much.

Christine is such a pleasure to work with. She is incredibly patient. Our session took place in October and it was certainly tough to shoot after a very active toddler boy and uncooperative preschooler.
I especially love that the proofs were emailed within a week and the CD came in the prettiest of packaging. Such finesse!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Two Leaf photography! We had a newborn/​family session and Christine was amazing! We were so impressed by her talent, professionalism, and how much TLC she put into each and every picture. We were a bit nervous taking our newborn to a photo shoot but Christine put us right as ease and was great with the baby.
We got the pictures back so quickly and they all came out amazing! Our families rave about them and we are so thankful we have such beautiful pictures of our son.

We used Two Leaf Photo for a family photoshoot centered around my toddler son. Christine was extremely easy to work with — responsive, flexible, & professional. I had some doubts after the shoot only because my toddler son was not very cooperative but to my extreme delight, Christine was able to capture so many beautiful & awesome pictures! There was a great mix of artistic/​candid and portrait and every photo was just beautifully taken. I am extremely happy with the quality and overall experience and would definitely recommend to others.

We should have put this up awhile ago but Christine and Daniel are amazing! Christine shot our engagement photo shoot and the lovely couple shot our wedding in July — all of the photos came out beautifully! We were even more impressed by how quickly the photos were returned to us!

This kind-​hearted photographer does an outstanding job!
I work for a non-​profit headquartered in Central Florida that provides dream vacations for children with life-​threatening illnesses and their families. We recently hosted a fundraiser in NYC, and professional photos were at the very top of my «wish list.» Not knowing anyone that I could reach out to, I looked to Unilocal and emailed a dozen or so photographers with my needs.
Two Leaf answered the call and Christine took one look at our organization’s website and offered to donate two hours of her talent. Simply unbelievable! As if that weren’t enough, she continued to treat me like a million-​dollar client.
