The Zoom Room offers positive dog training in group or private classes, specializing in dog agility, obedience, puppy training, and enrichment classes such as tricks, therapy dog, urban herding, scent work, Pup-​lates® and Canine Cross-​Training®.

SOCIALIZE.

Enjoy one of our Playgroups, whatever the weather, for some quality exercise time and socialization with your dog, under the watchful eye of an experienced trainer. As a dedicated canine event center, we’re the ideal spot to host a dog birthday party, meet-​up event, or a fund-​raiser for a rescue organization — as well as our ever popular Doggy Disco® parties.

Established in 2007.

Since 2007, the Zoom Room has trained over 65,000 dogs. We celebrate responsible pet owners who love to socialize and work out with their dogs.

We believe it’s important to give back to the community, and we work closely with animal rescue and welfare organizations both locally and nationwide. You can learn more about some of the great causes we promote on our website.

Kim R.

Business Owner

Growing up, when asked what she wanted to be, Kim’s answer was «Dr. Doolittle». We think she’s gotten as close as you can get!

Kim has been training dogs for over 10 years and has a degree in Animal Behavior from UC Davis. That opened the door for her to work with rescues, shelters, sanctuaries and more. Since then she has been a Behaviorist for a large facility where she specialized in Animal Welfare, Enrichment and Training. Kim is now the owner at Zoom Room in Campbell, and Head Trainer for the Zoom Room franchise.

Along with her commitment to working with owners using positive reinforcement training, she helps them strengthen the lifelong bond between dog and human. She is also a big believer in giving back to the community, and works closely with animal rescue and welfare organizations both locally and nationwide.

Kim has a CPDT-​KA certification, is a member in good standing of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and can assist owners with training needs or behavior issues.

I bring my 10 year old dog here for private gyms all the time. Only $ 20 for a half hour of safe, fun play when it’s super rainy out is the perfect way to weather out any storm! My dude is a bit of a grumpy old man so it’s super great that there is still an outlet to play, as most dog places require interactions with other people/​dogs. We can play on any of the basic agility equipment, make up our own courses, practice obedience, and they even have a toy bin that my pup loves to rummage through. Not to mention we buy his very favorite treats here. They have tons of quality stuff. The moo chips are his favorite but I personally love the doggy donuts that the staff makes in house daily. We give this place 2 giant paws up!

Awesome staff! The training is structured well and helped me so much with a very energetic Border Collie rescue puppy. I was so impressed with how much his behavior improved in a short period of time. Toby has loved all of the classes from Puppy Obedience, Tricks, Agility, even Urban Herding. We are looking forward to doing the Scent Workshop this Spring.
Also, Private Gym is a great way for him to burn off energy during the rainy weather.
If you are looking for dog training that is positive and, will build you’re dogs confidence, and life long bond with you, definitely go to Campbell Zoom Room.

We reached out to Zoom Room, a professional training center, to get feedback and advice on how to train our dog. Yet, there they provide no advice, only assessment. My pet was missing just one part to graduate. We had to keep repeating classes endlessly with no feedback or professional advice. We had to figure out on our own to fix it.
Training centers provide the environment for discipline with the presence of other dogs. If my dog’s learning opportunities are restricted instead of tailored to his needs, I don’t understand the point of obedience classes. Zoom room is okay for a focused dog by nature. They provide the opportunity for those dogs to learn skills. However, if a dog is distracted by nature, they do not help the owners further. I guess I have to look somewhere else for a training program that suits my dog’s needs.

If your dog can not listen to you at the evaluation with the fake black dog, your dog can not take any classes.
You will have to sign up for private trainings to see if you can have your dog sit quietly with the distraction.
That was the Evaluation, done by Meggie with no greet for my dog whatsoever or have any other interaction.
I do not have any higher expectation for the private lessons here so I will take the private lessons elsewhere. Will see if I want to try the group classes
here or not in the future.
Well at least they have the private gym and nice treats so they deserve the two stars for now.

This review is long overdue. I first brought my shy little dog in because I saw they offered «shy dog» training, which I desperately needed. Over the last year sense I’ve been training with them my shy little girl is becoming a social butterfly. Thanks to Zoom Room I have the tools to help my dog feel safe with the world around her.

I think we started taking our Belgian Mal to Zoom Room last summer in the desperate hopes that she would find an outlet for her overactive brain. One word saved our lives… «Agility.» Under the intuitive and brilliant eye of Kim (owner and head trainer) our pup has excelled at Agility and, while still a wild child, is notably exhausted and content after each session at Zoomy.
Another Zoomy favorite of mine is the Cadaver Bar– literally row upon row of drool-​worthy doggy heaven in the form of all natural, highest quality treats. My grrls favorites are the kangaroo tails, the turkey (aka ‘dino’) feet, and the sardines.
My dog is my fur baby. Some people look at how we treat our dog and they say she is spoiled. All I know is that I consider it a crime to not put time, energy, and overt love into the role of ‘dog owner.’ The decision to bring another creature into the family is a big one, and the staff at Zoom Room understand that we humans don’t always know how to do what is best for our dogs, and they are here to teach us how to understand how to enrich our dogs lives so that they can feel happy, secure, and completely tired out at the end of the day. Thanks Zoom Room! I don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t found you!

Maybe this place is better for group lessons. I purchased their private classes. Each class is $ 50 for 25 min long. During the class, the trainer mainly just talked, gave advises, without demonstration; I think even some dog owners we met in the parks can provide more efficient suggestions. While we dog owners were taking the lectures, my dog was just wandering around doing nothing, and the trainer didn’t have interaction with my dog to address my problem.
Anyway, I won’t recommend their private lessons to others.

Our dog responded really well to these classes. The staff is great and they help to teach the owners some great strategies. They also offer a bunch of specialty classes and play groups. It is a really fun place to bring your dog.

Soooo happy I brought my puppy to zoom room. I was a little nervous — she’s very hyper, and I was worried she wouldn’t follow directions and embarrass me! But the trainers are very sweet and the other puppies were just as hyper! I took her to one puppy obedience class, and in 50 minutes she learned «stand,» «touch,» «watch me,» and «down.» I am so pleased! Although classes are a little expensive, they give you a clicker to get started and offer so many cool toys, treats and other gadgets in their store. I am very much looking forward to my next four classes. Go to a free orientation if you’re curious!!!

I looooooooove Zoom Room, especially this location. They only use positive training methods and their trainers are wonderful. Everyone has been super nice, patient and truly love animals. Their owner, Kim, is great, and her dog CJ is a darling.
They offer lots of great classes (our dog does Obedience and Agility classes) and I really like the «pay per class, come whenever you want» model, vs. the typical «Five weeks of classes held every Monday at 7:30» model that’s common for dog training. (Maybe you’re out of town for one of the five weeks, but you spend your money regardless!) For example, they might hold Agility 2 three times a week. You book in for whichever one suits you, you aren’t tied to a day/​time, and if you are busy and miss a few weeks you come back whenever you’re ready to. Basically, it allows you to be really flexible with your schedule.
They also hold meetups and DOG PARTIES! We held our pup’s first birthday party at Zoom Room Campbell and it was AMAZING. They set up agility equipment, let them run around like little psychos and play together, have snacks for the dogs and music, and let you bring in any decorations you want and even food and drinks for humans.
They sell a lot of really great stuff, too, and they only stock high quality and safe food, treats and toys. If you buy something from there you can feel confident it’s of the highest standard. We buy most treats from there because they only stock excellent quality.
If you have a dog, definitely check out Zoom Room. The pups love it and the people there are so wonderful. I can’t recommend it enough.

I absolutely love Zoom Room. We have a Shiba Inu puppy. I’ve trained him a lot at home and is such a sweetheart, but it didn’t translate to training outside of the house. He was really mean to other puppies, and he was really difficult to training during zoom room. The trainers are really helpful! And they are soooo patient. After taking my little shiba a few times, he wasn’t nipping or growling. It’s still a little difficult to keep his attention, but that’s also the breed. The trainers reassured me that with persistence, he’ll get better with his selective hearing haha. I’m excited to eventually do other courses once my pup gets his shots!

Absolutely the best training and socialization I could have asked for for my puppy! The entire staff seems happy to be there and is always showering my little guy with love and snuggles. When he hurt his eye recently (right after I purchased a 3 month class package) Kim immediately helped us out and put his account on hold so he can return when he’s all healed up. I can’t wait to get him back to class (and I’m sure he can’t either; he loves his trainers so much)!

I can’t say enough great things about Zoom Room Campbell. I have three dogs and take all three to different classes, private trainings, and private gym. The head trainer and owner, Kim, is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and amazingly knowledgeable. Robin, one of the other main trainers, is AMAZING. The entire staff works diligently to make sure every client feels important and cared for. and that their dogs feel safe and loved. Best PLACE EVER FOR DOGS AND THEIR FAMILIES!

I really LOVE this training center. I feel very confident in the teacher and his/​her ability to train both pup and parent.
The facility is very clean, the quality of treats and products offered to purchase are outstanding, and the various classes offered are great and touch all the necessary training techniques.
I would recommend this facility to anyone and everyone. They are amazing here. The trainers love what they do and you can see it and feel it throughout each class.
I previously shared a concern with class availability and I want to say that I’m impressed with the positive response. The business owner reached out and offered a few great solutions that I appreciate and will utilize.
Cannot say enough about how impressed I am. Not only a great dog training facility — but a well run business.

Wish there was one in my neighborhood… unfortunately I have to trek back to my old neighborhood in the South Bay (Campbell!), but they are great. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and great treat buffet bar of natural items… like Kangaroo Ribs (which my dog absolutely loved!!). They take training and dog playtime to a whole new level, too… with trainers who really combine a Gymboree type of play experience with behavioral training.

OMG!!! We LOVE the Zoom Room… as First time parents of a Golden Retriever we have learn a lot from Kim (owner/​trainer). Lucky have improved a lot and we are really happy and proud of our little Bundle of joy. Max and the other members of the staff are very nice. I totally recommend this place… the unlimited package is awesome if you have the time to take your dog often.

Zoom Room is a GREAT training center for your dogs. My wife signed up for the unlimited classes ($ 150/​month, $ 100 if you get a friend signed up) and we bring our pup Riley to about three classes a week: Obedience, Agility, and Puplates.
Obedience: There are 3 levels of obedience classes. Level 1 is basic manners, Level 2 is «stays, walking, and recalls», and Level 3 is preparation for the Canine Good Citizen test. Riley flew through all 3 levels, following the training path very well, and got CGC certified about 2 weeks ago from my writing of this review.
Agility: There are 4 levels of agility. Riley is currently at level 2, and just loves playing on the equipment. I don’t know the official names of most of the agility equipment, but they have the adjustable jumping bars (Riley’s favorite, she can leap 3 at once!), tunnels, A-​frames, and more.
Puplates: This is kind of a «yoga for dogs» type of class. It focuses on strengthening your dog’s core muscles, as well as improving flexibility. Riley had a knee injury a few years ago and has undergone two surgeries which left her with a bit of arthritis in that knee. With the regular Puplates classes, her knee has regained flexibility, doesn’t get stiff like it used to, and her strength has built up to amazing levels (she’s a 40-​something pound Vizsla, and she’s now capable of pushing our couch with my wife sitting on it in order to get to a toy she pushed underneath!).
I highly recommend this center if you’re looking for any kind of training, whether it’s agility, obedience, puppy classes… they even have classes for shy dogs! The owner, Kim, loves dogs, and she can very accurately recommend the level of class for your dog. Every time she suggested we move Riley up a level, she was right (we weren’t sure if she was ready for the CGC test even when Kim said we should try it, but when we did, Riley passed with flying colors).

5-​stars! The training staff are excellent (our favorite is Kim). I’ve been bringing my Vizsla, Riley, here for a little over a month and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences. The facilities are always nice and clean with very little odor. We’ve done 3 types of classes so far: obedience, agility, and pup-​lates. Riley was just moved up to Obedience 3: CGC preparation and she really enjoyed her first class. Her tail wags throughout the classes and she goes nuts when we pull up to the building. Right now they are offering unlimited classes for $ 150 a month, which is a GREAT deal if you can go 5x a month or more. I highly recommend Zoom Room if you’re looking for a place to train your pup!
