These items are then sold to the public to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County. Every items sold helps families and individuals build strength, stability, and self-​reliance through shelter.

Just wanted to amend the previous review, to note that at least as of now, ReStore in Canandaigua is open Wed-​Sat 8 – 5, not just Friday and Sat. Very good place… in today’s economy I go just about once every week, to satisfy my shopping hunger without really impacting the bank account.

Habitat for Humanity builds houses for the houseless and this is one of their thrift stores. Good charity, good prices, decent selection of miscellanea. Lots of building materials in addition to the usual Goodwill or Salvation Army type selection. They are only open Friday and Sat 8 – 5.
