Mark’s Pizzeria

I read the other 1 star reviews, and thought it was interesting that they were for a steak sub and chicken wings, when Mark’s is primarily about the pizza. It’s possible that all of their other food is horrible, I wouldn’t know because I’ve only ordered pizza at Mark’s. I don’t order sushi from Giant supermarket, and I don’t order steak subs at a pizza place.
That being said, Mark’s is the best pizza that I’ve ever had in my life. There’s nothing fancy about it, nothing really different they do, the pizza is simple but it’s done very well. The dough rises super high and the crust is amazing, which I love being a crust person. The sauce is really tasty as well. Overall it blends into a great pizza, I generally eat 4 slices of a large in one sitting, and I’m not a big person.

Back in April I called Marks and ordered large pizza and a dozen boneless chicken wings. After I drove 20 min to get them and 20 min back to home, I opened the box to find the chicken wings burnt to a crisp. They were blackened and dried out. I called Marks and complained and they said we could come out now and get another order or we could get another order at another time. Well I was not in the mood to drive another 40 minutes for some chicken wings so I decide to pass and rather pick him up at another time. About six weeks later, because I don’t order chicken wings every day every week, we were hungry for some chicken wings and I called up marks and and explain the situation about the chicken fingers. I gave them my name and the marks employee said that my name was not on a list or board that indicated we would be receiving a complimentary a chicken wings order. Instead the employee was very condescending and rude on the phone while insinuating that we were trying to get away with a free order of wings. I’m sorry but I don’t have time to try to run around town get free orders of wings from the various restaurants in canandaigua. Overall, Marks pizzeria «does not treat you like family“at all fact they treat you like dirt and do not honor what they say they will do when they screw up.
