Crepe Neptune

It is a cute little store and the people who operate it are very friendly and nice. It is fun that you can watch them make crepes as you wait. They took extra special care in making mine since I had dietary restrictions.
The crêpe in itself was okay. I would say kind of mediocre. This is probably because of the type of cheese they use. They used cheddar and something else when savory crepes are normally made with Gruyère. This made the crêpe less rich and gooey which is part of the fun of eating a crêpe.

Crepes galore! Yummy! We wanted a quick option for mini brunch as we were planning to eat cake by the ocean before leaving Cannon Beach. I had the Nehalem — Brie, pesto, tomato savory crêpe — no surprise, it was delicious! Ingredients were fresh and the crêpe was made perfectly, no breakage!
My friends ordered the Fort Stevens (wild smoked salmon, cream cheese, and spinach,) and the Cannon Beach (prosciutto, goat cheese, honey, and fig) of which we all tasted. Mine was my favorite, though I would have ordered the dungeness crab one that was advertised three weeks earlier had they had it. The Fort Stevens was a little dry — perhaps if they drizzled honey on that one it would give it a little something extra. The Cannon Beach was good, as evidenced by that friend being done with her crêpe several minutes before the other two of us.
This spot was challenging to find with the maps app on the phone so the best thing to do is to drive to 2^nd St., park, and walk until you see the big «CREPES» sign outside their storefront. There isn’t much room to eat inside but they serve the crepes in easy to hold cones… feel free to wander around eating your delicious crêpe!

Amazing! I have had crepes all over Europe and the US. This is probably my favorite crap I’ve had in the US and it compares with some of the best in Europe :-)

Great crepes! I usually go for the desert crepes (famous crêpe is amazing) and they’re so yummy, kinda pricey but totally worth it! My mom had a savory crêpe (cannon beach crêpe I think) and it was really good! Definitely recommend this place :)

Unreal crepes; we went for Savory breakfast crepes in the morning and came back in the afternoon for a dessert crêpe. The owner was very friendly and laid-​back, he talked with us while making the crepes right there. They were incredibly flavorful, hot, and fresh. We’ve had authentic street crepes in Paris France and these are every bit as good. This little shop has mastered the authentic taste.

What a pleasant surprise! We had some of the dessert crepes — Nutellla, strawberries, etc. The strawberries were fresh, beautiful and delicious. Some other places (even in France) keep their strawberries in syrup. Not here!
And our cappuccinos were some of the best I’ve had in years. They know what a cappuccino is… it’s not a latte!
We wish we could have come back to try their savory crepes, and we will on our next visit to Cannon Beach.

Fun small place making crepes of both savory and sweet! A bit on the pricey side but I think most places in Cannon Beach are on the tourism pricey side. Had the crêpe with Nutella and fresh strawberries — was good but have had similar crepes all around. Would love to give the savory crepes a go next time!

Maybe a little spendy… but it’s the coast and a little splurge for a treat doesn’t hurt!
Husband got the chocolate, caramel, & sea salt. Mmm. I decided to go big or go home and went with the cheesecake, strawberries, & nutella. Soo yummy! We got ‘em quick and in these nifty disposable eat-​n-​go crêpe holders.
I’d come back to try out more of their selection!

The crepes are pretty good. The flavor combinations are very good. Like others have said, it is expensive. $ 10 is steep.

Ham and cheese crêpe. Everything is fresh the owners very very nice. I expected a titch more flavor but for $ 10 it was pretty good.

Began our coast weekend by driving out to Cannon Beach early. We needed a snack upon arrival stat. The whole town was still sleepy except for this little crêpe shop found via Unilocal.
The vanilla crêpe smell wafted through the air. A settled on a double shot espresso & the smoked salmon crêpe. I got the Cannon Beach, which had goat cheese, prosciutto, honey, & figs. It hit the spot. Not the best crêpe I’ve had because like other reviewers mentioned the fillings felt skimped, but it was still tasty & warming for a sprinkling day. The paper cone packaging that you can rip as you eat is great.
Perfect for a quick bite!

Super bummed that they are only open on weekends. Saw another couple walk up to the restaurant as we were driving by. That’s 4 paying customers they lost out on. I’m sure the food is terrific, especially since they offer GF options & that’s why I was so excited to try them out, but if you’re visiting Cannon beach on a week day don’t expect anything.

Yummy food and looks to be locally owned. I like that they serve illy coffee but pretty spendy overall. Something like 27 bucks for two crepes and 2 coffees.

Hm I was really excited to try this place, but was super disappointed when I got my crêpe after paying $ 10. I ordered the crêpe that had smoked salmon in it and was quite upset the amount of salmon that was in it. There was basically no salmon in it. The sauce was a meager amount of dill mustard and I was just plain sad with my crêpe. I wanted my $ 10 back. But alas, it’s located in Cannon Beach, the only creperie in sight, so they can and they will make their prices high.
My friend had the crêpe that had chicken, pesto, spinach, and cheese in it. That had a generous helping of everything, much better! But again, it was $ 10 and didn’t seem worth it enough. I’m sorry crêpe neptune, you aren’t for me!

Enjoyed having a sweet crêpe between my family as a little treat. The crêpe had nice consistency and right amount of filling. Would love to come back and try a few others.

OMG! The best crêpe ever! Cannon Beach crêpe freshly made crêpe before your eyes on a crêpe griddle topped with goat cheese, figs, prosciutto, and honey. For a walk up stand this place delivers an amazing gourmet hand held snack! They also had dessert crepes bit didn’t partake!

I wasn’t able to actually eat the food, just to put that out there. I went there because it was supposed to be extremely gluten free friendly, and when I tried ordering a gluten free crêpe the manager? Owner? was kind of rude and told me in no uncertain terms his food wasn’t safe for people with Celiacs and he wasn’t comfortable serving me his food. He also said something was gluten free without actually checking, soooo … yeah. No bueno.
I guess I appreciate him telling me his gluten free food is unsafe for people to eat so I didn’t get sick, but not sure why he has it, beyond making a quick buck on the fad. It would have been nice if he had been more polite. So anyway, if you are Celiac or sensitive to gluten, avoid it, per the owner/​manager himself.

It is tourist tax.
Crepes are one of those things that I’m not too put out but overpaying, but obviously I would rather not over pay. What am I gonna do, make my own? Ain’t nobody got time for that.
The counter is a little crowded especially in the peak season. It’s hard to tell where the line starts but when you figure most things in the world go right to left it makes a little more sense after the fact.
I got the Cannon Beach with Figs, Goat cheese, and prosciutto. The prosciutto was not of the highest quality, but the goat cheese definitely was. Very sharp and delicious. It was a great combo of flavors.
My wife got the Oswald west. You can add chicken if you want, but she didn’t. She said it had great flavor.
I was a little bummed they took all the peanut butter crepes off the menu since my wife is allergic to Hazelnuts, but not peanuts. But alas, I guess I don’t need the calories.
My only knock in this place is the tourist tax. Prices are a little steep, but I’m guessing they have a lot of over head in equipment… or do they.

Absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor, and splurge. I tried the Fort Stevens, a savory crêpe with wild smoked salmon, cream cheese, green onions, and some sort of dill sauce. Believe me, I was not disappointed. I took my delicious, cutely wrapped crêpe the few minutes walk down to the closest beach access, sat on a log, and enjoyed every last crumb (much to the seagulls dismay.)
The owner was very friendly, I enjoyed chatting while he made my crêpe fresh to order. I will definitely be back.
