Established in 2013.
Alliance for Community Empowerment, Inc. (ACE) was established as a 501©(3) organization in 2013 in response to community need. Since its inception, ACE has help disenfranchised, young people overcome barriers by addressing the core issues facing low-income communities. Through its RUTH YouthBuild and GRYD programs, ACE has helped youth rebuild their life and set the course for a better future by providing education, job readiness training, leadership/social development, counseling and supporting services by utilizing an engaging and holistic approach. ACE is grounded in the fundamental belief that young people, when given the right assistance, tools and role models, can transform their lives and their community.

Business Owner
Michelle Miranda was named Inspirational Women of the San Fernando Valley by the United Chamber of Commerce. She has dedicated over 20 years to helping disenfranchised young people transform their lives through leadership development and education. Watching youth become self-empowered and overcome life’s obstacles is what has fueled her passion.
Michelle is a former teacher, school principal, and administrator. In 2013, with a mission to strengthen the San Fernando Valley by helping struggling youth get off their feet and become employed, educated and contributing members of society, Michelle Miranda founded Alliance for Community Empowerment (ACE). ACE is a nonprofit organization that operates the west valley’s only YouthBuild and the city of Los Angeles’ GRYD (Gang Reduction Youth Development) programs. Michelle serves on the board of the Canoga Park /West Hills Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as a board member for the City of Los Angeles’ Canoga Park Neighborhood Council.
