My wife went there Saturday. There was a handwritten sign on the front door. «CLOSED! Sorry, we are permanently closed.(With Permanently underlined). Come visit our other locations at Denny’s Topanga and Roscoe or Topanga and Burbank».

Yuck. Not a welcoming place, mediocre service and food. Owner must be real stingy because the cook runs out of many meals and has no salt. I came with no expectations and that’s about what I got. Worst part was the older lady seating people. To her I was invisible. She’d rather be sitting and tacking with her friends. Best part was the man with the bread… The only smile and genuine sounding greeting ever offered. UPDATE: Dec 12 — they look like they closed up. Lights out, sign covered up…

I absolutely love coming to this restaurant. Every time I come in they are so attentive to me and my girlfriend. We have become regulars because everyone here is so nice in the service is extremely fast. I have never gotten bad food from here and I have never had a complaint. I hope that this cocoas never goes out of business because then I wouldn’t have a regular restaurant and I love to go to.

this place is not a lot of good, I had the breakfast burrito and it was fantastic but my wife had regular breakfast and it left a lot to be desired, also the pancakes are unusual, they have great texture but not a great flavor. worst of all was my sons burger off the childrens menu, it was terrible, dry overcooked and the bread felt stale and that really ruined everything else for me, I don’t know why they think they can get away with feeding the kids rubbish.

My husband and I came in here last night for dinner. All I can say is it’s too hard to write a play by play because EVERYTHING was bad. Waiter: not around Steak: over cooked, bland, one fraction of the size claimed on menu. Parmesan chicken: not crusted, overcooked, sour taste. Diet Pepsi: flat, overly sweet, like a melted popcicle. Pies: were out of ALL the ones we wanted, banana cream, coconut, pecan, strawberry. We didn’t eat our food, just got up and paid our bill. The lady at the front(owner) charged us full price even though we told her everything sucked. Thanks a lot lady. I hope this place burns down.

Don’t expect huge things from cocos but — 1. The pie we wanted wasn’t available by slice, even though the menu said it was — waitress wasn’t at all apologetic 2. Maybe I should have known better than to order healthy omelet but it was on the menu — they were out of feta — it came swimming in butter — I’m not at all picky with my food but for a healthy omelet, really?:) what’s the point? Left most of it 3. Service: strange system of having to enter tip before cc goes through — only saw that at cheap foot massage places… and our waitress seemed really tired and wasn’t there a whole a lot although it’s probably to be expected . Not the best run place…

I don’t expect much from a Coco’s, but I expect my food to at least be hot… and my order to be correct. Major FAIL. Both my and my son’s orders were wrong.

Came in with my mom for some good dessert and we were not disappointed. The Strawberry Chocolate Harvest Pie is out of this world! My mom had the Berry Pie and it was delicious! The service was great and fast! Loved it! Definitely coming back!

Went for dinner. Wasn’t expecting a five course meal obviously, it’s Coco’s after all. The chef must of worked very hard microwaving my frozen fish and chips. I have had better meals in TV frozen dinners. Really? They should at least make a little effort. I will stick to breakfast at Coco’s!

OMG!!! Everytime I come here… They are ALWAYS out of something!!! Last time out of prime rib, this time are you all ready??? Quinoa AND Baked Potato!!! Are you serious??? WTH??? Taste wise of the food is Good(After all it is a Coco) Service is Good also. Normally I wouldn’t be coming here(as you can see from my previous reviews), but it’s convenient from where we are today, decided to give it a try.

I love me some coco’s. We just moved into the area and found one close to the house. It’s a bit hidden seems but once inside the employees were awesome, friendly, and attentive. Overall great service and the food as always was delicious

Attempted to have dinner with my family at this location on a Sunday night at 9:30pm. The hours posted indicated they were open until 10:00pm. The minute we walked in, the receptionist said they were closed! At other establishments if you make it in before closing, you were served. We left and ended up going to Denny’s instead.

After such a rainy morning and being sick last few days, decided to order a pick up for hearty breakfast. My ordered was for medium steak, scrambled eggs and country potato, buttermilk pancake, Nutella banana pancake a la carte. Total $ 23.(Note: I saw a sign that they accept printed coupons from Dennys, IHOP, Carrows– bummer cuz I had a Dennys $ 5 off $ 20.next time). It took me about 10 minutes to get there, order not that quite ready but the hostess was welcoming, so no biggie if I have to wait few minutes. I received my ordered, and quickly left to eat at home. Steak needed a bit of seasoning but then it maybe lacking bc my taste buds were dulled from cold, my potatoes didn’t appear cooked evenly, some soft, some hard, eggs were ok. But saving grace was the Nutella pancake, didn’t care for cream cheese, the bananas in it were few and cut circular rather than pieces, which didn’t mind. I usually eat half of steak & eggs to eat one Nutella pancake. So enough for 2nd later. Food overall is a 3 – 3.5 but bumped to 4 bc surprise I accidently got an order of the lumberjack(egg whites, ham, sausage, bacon). Service was 3.5. They look like they have new yummy menu, so will be back to dine in and try them. Plus their pies.

Nice location to have a nice quiet breakfast or lunch. Like the calm quiet atmosphere. Great customer service from staff will be coming back. I always get the pies they sell here for an occasional friends bday pie this place never fails me.

Bottom line… The best poached eggs. Betters eggs than Ruby’s, and my 9 year old insists the pancakes are better here as well. He says the pancakes aren’t as crumbly. They hold together better with butter and syrup. Fair enough. Service is good, and polite. Wish tables were larger. Too cramped.

There’s plenty of parking at this location. I like cocos a lot of breakfast because it’s all homemade. I love that the potatoes and bacon are real unlike other places. I also like the fact that they have healthier option available. The service has always been good even on Father’s Day when it was crazy busy they were friendly, didn’t rush us and where very attentive. Also I love the pies they make in house. Especially the banana cream pie!

Surprised to see so much hate for this place. This location has been here since I was in high school, which was more than 20 years ago. It seems to be holding up well. Went in last Saturday for breakfast around 10am and was glad to see it was empty. I hate waiting for breakfast. I’m hungry … it’s the first meal of the day. By the time we left an hour later, every table was full. They seemed to do really well. They were busy after we broke the seal of customer arrivals. Breakfast was tasty and inexpensive. Ordered French toast, sausage, eggs, fruit, hash browns and lots of coffee. Everything was really good. Service was reasonable considering they had one waitress covering a lot of tables. They had a motorcycle group meeting in their large room. They also have signs on the wall of other groups that use the restaurant for meeting in case you’re interested. I saw the local optimists club, Mustang club and others. A sign said they honor competitive coupons too. There are a handful of breakfast options in the area, including Weiler’s across the street, and while Coco’s has been around forever and is a chain, it’s pretty good.

I come here often with my family. Service is always good, food is served quickly. Portions are usually fairly sized(main entrée salads are actually very big). I have no qualms with this place. It’s a freakin CoCo’s for Pete’s sake people. Parking is good, wait is never more than 5 minutes. My biggest complaint is that they stopped serving tomato juice. My husband and son love that stuff, and we miss it. We actually don’t come as often as we used to because of the lack of TJ, Pies are great, BTW
