Gabe’s Frame Lab 2

Costco referred me to Gabe’s over 10 years ago when they were unable to repair my glasses. I was so pleased when he was able to fix them that I have been a loyal customer ever since.
Their selection of glasses are both beautiful and affordable and the staff is very patient and helpful in the selection. The prescription is always correct with little wait time. More importantly, he stands behind his product.
Today I came in with a pair of sunglasses which I purchased from him. One of the jewels on the arm was missing and within minutes, he replaced it with an identical jewel.
I rarely Unilocal any organization but this find is so worth sharing. I think you will be pleased when you visit Gabe.

What a great find! I broke two pair of expensive titanium wire frame glasses. They came up with a novel way to repair them like new! And promised 2 day turnaround … Called me the next day to say they were done.
Really great service and nice people.
I’d definitely take any pair of broken glasses, reasonable prices.

Quick, convenient and very nice owners… replaced my nose piece in a flash which another optometrist office couldn’t…highly recommend for repairs.

Gabe’s Framelab 2 saved my favorite pair of glasses which a few other optical shops told me were beyond repair. I am wearing them now and am so happy! They fixed my frames in under an hour and the price was more than reasonable – it was a bargain!

I make sure I visit gabes frame lab on my annual visit to LA from DC. Why? First they have the most stylish selection of frames I’ve ever seen and the personal service they give in selecting just the right frames beats nordstroms personal service by far! Then, I get DAILY complements on the glasses. Who does that? Because they are that different and hip. And finally, the customer service is unbelievable. My glasses have had frequent mishaps over the years, I ship them and they turn around the repair in the same week. Incredible. I know if I lived there, would be done in an hour. It’s the ONLY place to buy glasses!

I was entirely ready to write a five star review of Gabe’s in Canoga Park after the super-​prompt and courteous service I received from Donna yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately something unfathomable has occured since then. I really hope that I don’t have write an up-​dated one star review, because the place is one of the nicest, best looking, and up-​scale joints I’ve seen in (when are we going to start calling it Old Town?) downtown Canoga Park.

My eye doctor recommended me to Gabe’s after they were unable to repair my glasses they sold me. Donna, found the part needed and repaired and at a great price. When there, i also purchased new glasses and she gave me a fantastic price and had it done promptly and perfect the following day. Just went back again for another repair and new lenses. No more dr. office or lens crafters for me. Thanks Gabe’s !!!

This place was recommended to me by Walmart, of all places. My glasses broke and I think it’s nuts to replace them if all they need is a part. I don’t know why opticians won’t repair their own glasses. I’ve gone to Gabe’s a couple of times. Both time recieved excellent service. They used to be upstairs, now they are in store front. Not open on Saturdays, probably the only drawback. They also sell new eyeglasses.
Addendum: The store is now open on Saturdays. Yay.

My favorite expensive glasses broke, I went back to the store to buy another pair of frames for my lenses, but they didn’t carry them, they did tell me about Gabes, I went there and my glasses were fixed in a half an hour!!!

After living with my Oakley prescription glasses being cracked at the hinge I called Oakley, they recommended Gabe’s.
Went by there, covered the frames under the Oakley warranty, gave me a new set of frames and away I went with ni muss or fuss.
I Would give them 6 stars if possible!

I found this place by doing a frantic search online to repair my boyfriend’s sunglasses. This was after hitting every store I could think of for replacement parts that all had the wrong kind.
Glad to see that there was someplace super close by, does a quick repair, and doesn’t try to sell you on a bunch of other stuff.
I also noticed you can mail in your glasses for repair through their website that I thought was pretty cool.
