Wife and I had a craving, dinner for breakfast. Our regular spot was closed so we thought we’d give Henri’s a try. Very old school country diner décor. Service was tremendously slow. We asked to make sure our food didn’t have any meat products and as soon as we took our first bite we tasted lard. The waitress did exchange our food. Overall, food was bland, service was subpar. We should have just stayed home.

Ah Henri’s. Why do I love this place? The food is ok, pretty consistent menu. Typical American fare. The waitresses are super nice. Oh, wait. There’s a bar! Yep nothing like a good Bloody Mary during breakfast!(They make really good Bloody Mary’s here!)

WHOA!!! NOTWHATYOUEXPECT! The food is AMAZING! We get the same waitress every time, and she is always happy and bubbly. If you are looking for your order to be wrong, service to be bad, prices to be high, this is not the place for you.

Happy to come back to such a yummy place. We typically do weekly breakfast, but today we decided on lunch. We missed our regular busboy, but his replacement is super nice and always around to refill a low glass. Wife got a very tasty ranch dressing salad. I had to steal some, it was just too delicious looking! The dressing was light and absolutely delicious. Her sirloin French dip was over the top. I was busy dipping my beef steak fries in her a-jous. If you love garlic like me you will be thrilled at the smack it gives you. Yummy! After that the salt kicks in for a simply lip smacking finish. And the sirloin was killer good. I had the Texas burger which was juicy, thick, and fabulous with Swiss on it. Perfect medium rare, thanks guys! I love the beef steak fries. Crunchy on the end, and pure silk in the middle. Enjoy!

My go to breakfast place. They have great service and big portions with the breakfast. It’s crowded on the weekends but well worth the wait. Food always comes out hot. The waitresses check on you often.

I’ve been coming here with my parents for Sunday breakfast for years. I can’t speak for anything else on the menu except for the corn beef hash, home fries and waffles – all very good. The service is sometimes ditzy but it’s easy to get their attention.

My first time here and I’m disappointed. Due to cold food. Horrible service. A blond curly hair Waitress rushed me to order Very Rude. Bathrooms are supper dirty no maintenance. Do not recommend it. Stop by and check it out your self.

So I ate here a few weeks ago but am just now getting around to my review. Came here a little before 9AM on a Sunday… anytime later on a weekend at most good breakfast spots & you’ll be faced with a wait. I hate waiting to eat! Seated right away, water & coffee delivered quickly while I decided what I wanted. Ordered eggs and burger patty with hash browns & sourdough toast. Food came out in about 5 — 8 minutes(so hey, I didn’t run the stopwatch on on my phone) & was delicious! The burger was cooked just right at my requested medium-rare, hash browns had a crispy crust with a soft inner layer, the eggs were perfectly done over easy & the sourdough was toasted just right! I ate about a 3rd& had 2 more breakfast meals left over. Breakfast was really good, the staff was friendly & if you’re so inclined, you can partake in the California Lottery. I bought a scratcher & won $ 2. If I plan to meet friends in CP again for breakfast, I’ll definitely go back!

Don’t know where to start other then pure nasty! Only reason I came to this dump is cause the guitar lessons my son goes to comes and James here once a month. I wanted to support the guitar school my son attends. As we came in no one came to us and asked us if we would like to be seated we had to clean our own table I’m not kidding. Waiting for some help from anyone just to ask us if we wanted any water drinks anything!!! Not to mention a menu! I was trying to flag down someone but all I got was a dirty look. … Ok so I went into the other room to ask if u can get some drinks. So the toothless tattoo lady that was giving me the dirty looks tells me «hey man chill out dude and be patient». I told her it’s ok I’m asking for water. She then tells me «if I would like to be 86». What the fuckk where did they find this ghetto women, from the street? Wow. Is never enter a dump like this again. Food looks horrible anyways…

Have been coming here since a little girl… Henri’s is a main staple in Canoga Park. Food is always fresh and. My hubby really enjoys the convenience of buying lottery tickets and a win from time to time!

Family from my husband’s side holds Henri’s near and dear to their hearts and thanks to them, I have been introduced to this place! Breakfast is god! Good flavors, good portions, and will definitely leave you satisfied. They have your usual breakfast items on the menu which stays true to it’s divey, homie ambiance. I really like that they set up a breakfast buffet for special occasions such as mother’s day! They even provide roses for the moms! Such a nice touch! Service is good! Staff have always been friendly. There have been some occasions of our orders getting mixed up but I do take note that they’re usually very busy. Overall, it does the job and is a great local spot for people who eat out for breakfast on a regular basis.

I love the vegetable soup! It’s better than my own homemade and worth going out in the rain to have a bowl. My family likes the chicken and the mashed potatoes. The décor reminds me of going to an elderly aunt’s home – different china pattern dishes on the walls, etc. I’ve also been there for a drink in the bar after a performance at the Madrid Theater across the street.

Friendliness of the staff and great service. I have never had a bad meal here in 25 years. I’ve actually been coming to this spot pre Henri’s; in the 1950’s there was a Rexall Drugs lunch counter here. I come all hours of the day. Sometimes breakfast, sometimes lunch, and an occasional dinner. Going there tonight! My recommends: French Toast Omlettes Burgers Steak Sandwich Chicken dinner Chef’s salad Patty Melt It’s a diner, not Fleming’s, so expect the level of service and food you get at a diner.

This is a great breakfast spot in the valley, that can definitely fill your hunger needs. They have a variety of options such as their corned beef hash and poached eggs to their hearty steak and eggs. The portions are huge, so any plate that you decide to choose will fill your needs. You also have to try their coffee with their flavored creamer ranging from hazelnut to french vanilla and wash that down with their fresh squeezed orange juice. Service is great as the staff will make sure your needs are met. Parking in on Remmett in the back lot. Its a non issue.

Al-right breakfast spot. Nothing amazing, and I feel like the food and service was average. I got the chorizo and eggs, and the flavor was very bland! I even added hot sauce, which surprisingly did not help at all. My girlfriend got one of their breakfast specials and was also not very enthused. Our server was completely out there. We asked her for water several times and she did not during our entire visit bring us a drink … even after she dropped off our food and was reminded. The restaurant at the time was not even busy. I expected a lot better. But you get what you pay for!

This place is ok. I came here for breakfast but there was nothing special about it. My sausages were over cooked and dry, the pancakes were thin and dry and the rest just felt like a meal that I could have done at home. I walked in thinking it would be a great little dinner but The whole place was just outdated mostly in the way they cook their food. I feel this restaurant has potential, they just need to really focus on making their dishes taste better and they need to add different meals to their menu that really stand out. the staff was very nice! Unfortunately their food was not good enough for me to want to come back.

Honestly, I think we’re done with this place. Had my usual eggs benedict and was pretty disappointed. Eggs over cooked. The Canadian bacon got smaller I swear. Just a little thin disc of meat smaller than the untoasted English muffin. Both the Queen of Reseda and my hash browns were a little burnt and luke warm upon arrival. Hard biscuit, not fresh. Not impressed with our server. When she wasn’t leaning against the bar talking she was sitting down at one of the tables taking bites of food off some dudes plate. The food here has never been steller, but at least you could count on the eggs benedict and hash browns. What happened? Meh. I’ve experienced better.
