Tony Kappl started Kappl Heating and Air Conditioning in 1987. Kevin when to work for his father after graduating from school. When Tony was ready to retire, Kevin stepped in and took over the family business.

Luis visited today to do our maintenance on our two Trane systems. He was excellent. Luis was extremely thorough. He found were our ducts were broken and needed to be repaired. He cleaned both of our units and found that a secondary safety switch was not installed. He also saw that our Window Installers covered up the drain for our upstairs unit. He discussed the CleanEffects cleaner and was just incredibly vested in our expensive HVAC system. Excellent job. Thank you

It’s been a little over a year since Kevin Kappl re-​engineering and installed Trane heating and A/​C in our 3000 sqft house. I’ve done some dumb things in my life, but paying Kappl to do this was NOT one of them. Smartest investment I’ve ever made in the house. In the midst of this summer’s stifling heat, the downstairs is uniformly and silently cooled without frigid blasts of air, and the Fujitsu unit in the master suite is performing exactly as advertised and allows for blissful sleep. Thanks for advising me to spend the money, Kevin. You d’man!

Best Air and Heat company you can call! Our AC went out very late at night when it was still over 80 degrees outside and 86 degrees inside our house. Needless to say we had a horrible night with very little sleep and the weather called for more hot weather in the days ahead. We called Kappl Heating & Air first thing in the morning and a tech was at our house in less than an hour. He was nice, clean, polite, fast and got our AC up and running in no time at all. Great company, Great people, Great service!!!

Kevin Kappl came out to diagnose and correct a problem with our air conditioner freezing up. Before explaining anything, he told my husband that put in 6 lbs. of refrigerant at a cost of $ 513 plus a a charge fee of $ 62 and a diagnostic fee of $ 89 (minus a coupon $ 25).
After that he told him a leak is very expensive to diagnose and said they could come back and add a STOP LEAK if the refrigerant leaked out again.
Why would a professional who apparently knew that a system that needed that much refrigerant must have a leak… NOT suggest a solution before wasting so much money on adding that much refrigerant?
Now –3 weeks later, their solution is to put in more refrigerant with the STOP LEAK. We feel ripped off and taken advantage of.

I had my annual Air conditioning maintenance program performed today by Jason of Kappl Heating and Cooling.
As usual, a highly thorough and comprehensive service call completed on my Trane furnace and A/​C unit. Some additional detailed tech diagnosis and reconfiguation
was also completed to allow for my A/​C system to run at it’s peak performance and capability.
Only a tech of Jason’s capability and knowledge would have been able to catch this irregularity and fix accordingly.
We are and continue to be in comfort with our HVAC system maintained professionally fro Kappl.
Thanks and see you in the fall when it is time to get the system ready for the cooler weather.

I recently had a complete air conditioning and heating system installed by Kappl, including new ducts and registers. After interviewing and getting quotes from three other companies, I was most impressed with the professionalism of Keppl. This company may have been a bit more expensive than the others, but the service and the quality of the units were well worth the added expense. Kevin Kappl worked with me on the financial issues. I am so pleased with the performance quality of the air conditioning. I just recently had to turn on the AC, and what a difference. All the rooms are comfortable and efficient. Just last week I had the first service and was so pleased. I would highly recommend Kappl to all my friends and family. They are first rate.

My digital thermostat started giving errors and eventually shut down. I phoned Kappl, who installed the system two years ago. They told me Jason would be the best person to assist me and that he could talk me through some basic troubleshooting over the phone. But Jason was out sick that day. They scheduled a phone call for me with Jason for the next morning at 8am (to accommodate my work schedule).
Jason called promptly at 8am and thoroughly talked me through basic troubleshooting and diagnostics. My thermostat ultimately rebooted and everything went back to normal. Jason was great to deal with… very patient and thorough.
Stephanie was also great. She was the one who recommended a phone call with Jason, which was free of charge, versus having a technician come out right away, which would have cost me.

I’ve been a customer of Kappl Heating & Air since I had them install a new hvac unit on my newly purchased home in 2003. I have had them maintain my hvac unit annually ever since, and have never, ever had any issues with their service. The staff are truly professional, both office and field staff (and to be quite honest, they are even better in 2015 than they were 12 years ago!). I also have them maintain my 91 year old mothers home, and they are truly experts in dealing with the elderly. I know that if they are scheduled to service her home hvac unit, they will do so with a kind heart and treat her the way all elderly people deserve to be treated, with respect. Thanks Kappl, keep up the good work!

We recently had Kappl Heating & Air install 9 units in three of our buildings. Their first visit was to assess our needs. These needs were very specific. The owner prepared a very thorough and complete proposal. We scheduled the work and everyday the technicians and crew were here working quitely and cleaning behind themselves. There was no debris left behind near any of the buildings. Each system was a challenge to satisfy the residents and they met that challenge in every way.
The staff and technicians are very knowledgeable and respectful. They explained everything to us in a way a lay-​person could understand. We have a service contract with them and are very, very pleased. They are always on time and polite if we call.
I HIGHLY recommend this company and it’s staff. THANK YOU, KAPPL Staff & Technicians!

Jason M. was on time and on target. He got 2 systems up and running before I melted in the heat. Very knowledgable and efficient. Appt was hassle free. I would definitely call again. Only downside is the repair was slightly more expensive than I had hoped.

It is unfortunate but at this time I have to downgrade Kapple to a 1 star!
I don’t know what happened in between last year and now but their customer service is noticeably different and not even close to what it was from last time. I don’t know what Jason’s title is but he should not be answering the phone. In the past it was always Christine or Kevin that answered and no problems. Jason doesn’t seem to understand who the customer is! He may be paid by Kapple but if he pisses off the customers like he has me Kapple will not have enough customers to pay his salary. Jason has zero understanding of business and the concept that the customer is always right! He is rude and lacks communication skills.
Kevin does a good job but is noticeably under stress and spread too thin! It has effected his promises to return my calls or contact me as promised. This has also effected his attempt to get a job done in a timely fashion!
Christine is great no complaints about her.
Because of all these reasons, mostly my issues with Jason, Kapple gets a 1 star from me and no more business from me!
