Mike’s Frame & Alignment

Bottom Line:
There isn’t anybody out there that takes the time to work on a car like Mike and Stafford. I drive a Mercedes and they are difficult at best to work on, and expensive. These guys are precise, and perfectionists. Look no further. Sorry I didn’t know about them sooner. Have been wearing out my tires due to others that could not figure out how to align the car properly, or just didn’t want to take the time.

Great price, great service and a very friendly owner… Mike is very accommodating and would not hesitate to recommend this business. I needed an alignment, was recommended to him by my mechanic at K & H Imports (great mechanic)…I priced the cost of wheel alignments at 6 different places and Mike’s price beat them all, by quite a lot.

Brought in my 2005 Ford F150 pre-​runner with over 6000 miles of hard desert driving this past year (it literally was driving sideways down the freeway), Mike spent 3 hours tearing apart the whole front end due to the custom suspension, gave me a small list of parts he thought I should change for the new season, and then a more than reasonable bill.
The truck tracks better than ever, and I couldn’t be happier with the service and results at Mike’s Frame & Alignment!

I’ve been taking my cars here for over 20 years. I’ve had Mikes straighten frames and chassis and do precision alignments on countless cars I’ve owned. There’s no place better to take your car for the work they do. He’s never tried to sell me something I don’t need. He’s always been honest and straightforward with me. I won’t take my cars anywhere else for frame or alignment issues. His alignment tech is the best I’ve ever seen. He takes his time, does it right and nails the specs I give him. He takes pride in the work he does. Their equipment is calibrated regularly. A properly aligned vehicle will extend tire wear and offer perfected road feel. These things are important to me and Mike’s makes it happen for me, every time.

I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe. After owning a Range Rover for 6 years, it was a GIANT step down. I thought, «Man, Hyundai’s ride like a tin can.» Even new struts and tires (both installed by other shops) didn’t correct the problem. A mechanic at Costco referred me to Mike’s and I was able to get an alignment immediately.
We left that weekend for a 5 hour drive up to Sequoia National Forrest and it felt like I was driving the Range Rover again (may THAT car rest in peace!).

This was my second visit here. My husband also uses Mike’s for his work truck. I can’t say how comforting it is going to a «car» place knowing they aren’t going to screw you. They do a great job. They are honest and looking to create customers for life. I will always use them. Mike and the guys are knowledgeable and quick. Use Mike’s for your alignment and you won’t be sorry.

Took my truck in for an alignment. The mechanic said the tie rods connected to the rack and pinion were worn and needed to be replaced. I agreed so as I watched the mechanic pull off one of the boots that covered left the tie rod and there was at least ½ cup of steering fluid inside. The mechanic told me that he was not sure why the fluid was there then said it must of been the packing grease when it was first installed. He finished the job and I paid $ 328.63.
Five days later I had a new oil leak. Took it to a garage and it turns out the oil was coming out of the left tie rod boot. Turns out the rack and pinion seal has been leaking and now the boot will not hold the oil. I was told that the tie rods should have not been replaced if there was oil in the boot that the rack and pinion needs to be replaced which comes with new tie rods. The price to do this was $ 665.31 plus I have to align the truck again.
Took the truck back to Mike’s Frame and Wheel. The mechanic told Mike there was a little seepage nothing more, so Mike charged me $ 35.00 more to realign the truck.
I have no idea why Mike’s mechanic after seeing the oil in the boot didn’t tell me I needed a new rack and pinion instead of going forward with the ball joints.

Great shop… definitely recommend! I was referred here from a friend for a second opinion when I thought someone else was trying to pull a fast one. Mike, the owner, was honest about the work I needed and didn’t try to sell me the farm. I really liked his NO BS attitude and his willingness to sit down and thoroughly explain what I needed done and why. Will definitely be back next time I need work done!
