The best tire shop I’ve been to. Been coming here for years. Mark’s prices beat all of the chain stores and he offers free rotation and warranty on the tires he sells. He’s honest and fair. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. No need to make an appointment or call in advance. You show up and are in and out pretty quick even though they are super busy. Plus, open 7 days a week.

Going alone as a woman in a car business you never know what’s going to hit you!!! But I was so pleased with their fast and Honest customer service! I give them 10 stars!

This is really one of the BEST businesses out there… not just tire stores, but any kind of business. I have been coming here for 20 years for tire patching/​plugs and new or used tire purchasing. They work quickly, professionally and politely. Their prices are incredibly fair, and they are honest as they come! The plug tires for free for life if you bought tires from them… no questions asked. Today was a prime example at how awesome these guys are. I needed a screw removed from my wife’s tire and have it plugged. I stopped at a chain tire store closer to my house and was told it would take about three hours! I went to Tires Buy Mark and I was in and out in 10 minutes, and no charge! These guys are the best!

I love this place. I buy all of my tires from here. Have yet to find anywhere that beats their price for new tires. Only downside is it can get pretty busy a lot of times. Mark is a real cool guy! Love my Michelins!

This place was referred to me by a co-​worker. I got a flat on the way to work and was super nervous about driving on my spare. I went over to Tires by Mark and was in and out in 15 minutes. The guys there were So helpful and very professional. I would recommend this place to others without a doubt!

I’ve been here twice with my own cars and once with my brother’s car and every single time went smoothly and exceeded my expectations. As a female car enthusiast, I’ve often had to deal with less than pleasant behavior at these kinds of places (because apparently girls can’t be knowledgable when it comes to cars) however at Tires Buy Mark I was always treated with respect! Their prices are excellent and they have a wide range of tires in stock (if you want something specific and it’s not in stock, they’ll order it for you, as was the case with my Jeep). Installation is fairly fast too, I never had to wait around very long. I’ll continue to come here for all my tire-​related needs and will continue to recommend this place to my friends/​family.

I called to get a quote on the tire and the guy quotes me a price. I tell him I also want the tires rotated and the guy says no problem and the price he quoted was still the same.
I drive there and speak to the guy I spoke on the phone. He figures out the tire I need and I repeat I want the tires rotated. He says not to worry and prints out a work order. It doesn’t say «tire rotation» there but I figured it’s a free service and he didn’t bother to put it there. Everyone seems to be really busy and I didn’t want to be pesky by keep asking about the same thing again and again, so I just leave the car and come home.
Besides, I already knew he would want to put the new tire in the rear and move the rear tires with more life to the front anyway. I’m no tire expert but that’s what I heard while I was shopping around. The other tire guys all recommended it as the car would pull to one side without this. So, I assumed he would want to do this anyway.
I come back a few hours later to pick up the car and find the tires NOT rotated. The new tire is in the front left replacing the flat with the other tires untouched. I asked someone who seems to be the owner and he says he will take care of it right away. And he did pull someone out and had them rotated in about 15 minutes.
Here are my problems besides the sales guy not communicating with the installation guy properly.
— I was made to stand in the rear parking lot right next to the tire installation area. The place was very small and lots of cars moving in and out and everyone shouting. I see 3 other customers standing and waiting in this dangerous area. There’s no such thing as «customer lounge» in this small shop.
— The guy who did the rotation after the owner pointed out was extremely frustrated and started venting out on me. He told me I should’ve pointed out the missing line item for tire rotation. He is correct, I should have but I had my reasons as explained above. In any case, I don’t think you should expect any repeat business if you want to lecture your customers whether you are right or not.
— Then, the tire guy proceeded to put the new tire to the left rear and move the left rear tire to the front and says, «All good now?» Obviously, he thinks I’m a fool and doesn’t know how tire rotation is done. I said «the other side?» He grudgingly proceeded to to the other side. I still didn’t think he did it the right way as it would have to be done in «X» pattern but he started speaking in some technical lingo in broken English I can’t understand and insists it has to be done this way, bla bla bla, At this point, I was too tired to deal with this lazy lame ass and I got out of there.
The only thing good about this business is that they didn’t try to sell things I didn’t need but equally, there was no service. The owner was reasonably responsive and the sale guy was friendly at least which is why it didn’t get one star.

Always a great experience. Mark is the BEST and has the best prices in town. Went to Chatsworth tires because it’s around the corner from my house, to fix a nail in my tire, and they said I needed 4 new tires. Decided to get a 2^nd opinion from the best… out the door with only 2 tires. Thanks!

I have been dealing with Mark for over 15 years. Mark always has the best prices. The guys in back are faster then a NASCAR pit. I’m still amazed just watching the guys work… You will not be disappointed

I feel bad for you if you’re getting your tires from anywhere else. One time, I got a flat and I had to go to the closest tire place, it was in Chatsworth (I’m not going to name the place). But the guys there thought I was an idiot and tried telling me I needed new tires or they would blow while I was driving.
Well, I’m not an idiot and knew there was just a nail in the tire. Anyway, I took it to Tires by Mark and they pretty much patched it for free. This place has the best customer service, everyone is super honest. Every time I come here I feel like they are really trying to help me out. Don’t go anywhere else for your tires!!!

Took our car to Mark for some wheels and tires. Had gone 2 weeks prior and picked out a wheel that would go with the car, so we place our order. After a few weeks, we drove down to the shop and when we arrived. Mark had told us that the wheel we initially chose was on a back order but he recommend something similar. At first we were hesitant but after he pulled them out of the box and lined them up against the car we were pleased.
The wheels were a little big and need a certain spacer. Mark called a distribution and they had it to him within minutes. So when the car was done, Mark took us out back and showed us. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Thank you Mark. You have our on going business!
Will be taking my car down soon for wheels and tires!

Today I had a great experience here with Milton… I ran over a nail. I had never been here but read good reviews (Thanks, Unilocal!). Milton had my tire fixed in no time flat (pun intended). Thank you! I will be a loyal customer from now on!!!

I’ve been going to Tires by Mark for several years now and I can’t believe that I haven’t written a review, till now… What honestly keeps me going back is the service (everyone there is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable) and incredible deals.
Los Angeles streets aren’t made for cars that sit low on the road. My BMW aluminum rims crack like crazy on LA roads– so I’ve purchased rims here and have gotten previous cracked rims welded through Tires By Mark. Rims –of course, cost will vary depending on your car and welding cost $ 75 — $ 100 (higher cost was related to having 2 cracks repaired. Also, rims are sent out to another shop/​location for welding-​FYI).
Shop is a little mom & pop operation –so the shop itself isn’t so tidy/​clean and there isn’t a nice, warm waiting room to sit in while your car is getting serviced –just FYI. Place just has the basics.

The prices at this place are great. I saved about $ 100 versus the quote I got from Tire Pros. However, I wasn’t really expecting the service to be so bad, and I will explain…
Guys behind the counter are fine. I mean, all they gotta do is be friendly and take your money, so that’s what they do which is cool. They were quick and efficient. However when I went out back where they change the tires — it was understandably a bit chaotic. Basically a ton of people are lining up to get their tires changed.
Problem is, there doesn’t seem to be any sort of system. I mean, if they just called numbers that would probably have made my experience better. Anyhow, I sat there like a dumbass parked behind some van watching people pull up and get service right away and trying to figure out why the hell I’m not getting serviced. After I saw 2 people go ahead of me I spoke to the mechanics and basically was like «how does this work? I watched 2 people go ahead of me!» At which point the mechanics got kinda weird and attitude and told me to speak to the guy behind the counter. Why the hell do I need to speak to the guy behind the counter? I paid and am simply waiting for the tired I paid for!
Anyway, I try to be patient and remember how cheap the tires are — I go to the counter and the guy goes «park here, your next.» So I do that. About half an hour later I’m still watching them help other people out who came AFTER me. Now I’m sure it’s got nothing to do with it — but all the workers there speak Spanish and I was beginning to feel like I needed to speak Spanish to get help! So I speak to one of the mechanics again, and again I am met with attitude and this time, a little hostility. So now I’m starting to get pissed.
Now I work in customer service, so I am not afraid to get loud when I know I am in the right. I speak to demanding idiots all day so I know the difference between a reasonable request and demanding bullshit. And language barrier doesn’t mean shit. Courteousness has no language barrier. And these guys knew exactly what I was talking about. What I was asking for was perfectly reasonable. So I was done with this bullshit. I went inside and told the guy again and he did the right thing and kinda tore those mechanics a new asshole and now their attitude changed and I got a very false «sorry» from one of the mechanics. So they finally jack my shit up and start taking the tires off. But I could tell they were pissed about it. (why???That’s what yer paid to do!)
Now I don’t have the most fancy rims or anything, but dude snaps them off and throws them. Not far, but tossed em as he spoke Spanish to his co-​workers. Now I understand it is busy and probably a hard job, but I don’t need to hear «Puta Madre» while they are taking my shit off. Maybe they think I am so clueless that I do not know what «puta madre» is and I have no idea if it was directed at me. But when a customer is waiting a few feet away and pissed (for good reason) YOU DON’T TOSS HIS SHIT AROUND AND START CURSING. Especially when the customer has a right to be annoyed.
I’ll probably be back because they are cheap, but I probably won’t be as patient. And all the foul language aside, I really don’t care — it’s a tire shop. I’m just not a big fan of having to make a scene in order to get service.

My family and I have been satisfied customers of Tires Buy Mark for several years. I loved the promptness and how convenient of a location it is. I, as well as my family, have recommended several friends to go here. However, I had a very horrible experience and will never go back again.
I was told by my mechanic that I needed 3 new tires for my road trip to Texas. They were in very bad shape and driving across the country would be very dangerous. I went to Tires Buy Mark and they were pretty busy. They called their «brother» place directly across the street that they do business with to replace my tires. The guy who was helping me followed me outside to check what kind of tires were on my car so that he would know what to replace them with. I paid for 3 brand new tires and an alignment at Tires Buy Mark and was told to go directly across the street with my receipt and they would take care of me.
After waiting about an hour at the location across the street, I finally got my tires changed, or so I thought. I don’t know much about cars so I took their word for it that everything was taken care of.
On my drive to Texas, my car would start shaking at any speed over 60mph. Something wasn’t right. As soon as I got to Texas, I brought my car in to the nearest car shop and was told that I would need 3 new tires and that the tires that were currently on my car were basically bald with the treading even coming off of one of them. I thought I had just gotten 3 new tires!??
I called Mark and he needed a receipt to supply a refund. I had thrown my receipt away (my mistake) but was told that he could look up the transaction in his system. He told me that I needed to ship the 3 old tires back to him and that I would get reimbursed for it. Shipping tires is not an easy thing. Once he received the tires, I gave him a call and he told me that his company does not provide those tires and that he hadn’t even heard of them. All 3 tires were by different companies. He didn’t believe that these tires were from his store. I explained how I was told to go across the street but had paid completely through them. After much arguing, Mark sent me a check to reimburse me for the shipping costs of the 3 tires. I was told that another check would be sent to provide a refund, but without an alignment refund because the tires had been aligned. I was told that the place across the street only does alignment and that I would not have been sent there to get 3 brand new tires. Mark did not believe anything that I was saying-​fully insinuating that I was making it all up. He even found the transaction in his system. After a couple weeks of going back and forth, I finally received a refund for the 3 tires but not for the alignment. I’m glad to have gotten the majority of my money back but am appalled that Mark could treat his customers like this and basically steal my money. I will not be going back to Tires Buy Mark ever and I recommend that for anyone who wants an honest, trustworthy, and respectful tire business.

My daughter had a flat tire today and I’m out of town.
I sent her out there and in a matter of minutes, they found out what the problem was, fixed it and didn’t charge anything.
