Bare Naked Wools Boutique specializes in natural, dye and chemical-​free, American made wools. Customers will receive a true boutique experience. Friendly sales staff help anyone from novice to expert find the perfect project or materials. The shop carries all Bare Naked Wools lines of luxury fiber, Knitspot patterns, Hiya Hiya and Chiaogoo Needles as well as an assortment of other products. Knitting and crocheting classes are available at BNWB.

History

Established in 2006.

Knitspot and Bare Naked Wools were created by Anne Hanson. Anne designs all the Knitspot patterns and works with regional mills and farms to produce luxury, high quality yarn lines as Bare Naked Wools. Anne’s background as a patternmaker/​draper, technical designer, and costumer in New York City’s garment district informs her work, providing a rich source of experience in garment construction and fit, as well as knowledge of a wide range of fibers and fabrics.

Bare Naked Wools Boutique is a product of several years of hard work and devotion to this industry and product line by Anne, her husband David, and the entire Knitspot staff.

Anne Hanson is a knitwear designer living in Canton, OH. Owner of Bare Naked Wools and Knitspot, she sells her designs and yarns online and at a brick and mortar in Canton. Producing all natural, dye-​free, chemical-​free yarns, Anne strives to create a product both luxurious and elegant. As a well-​known designer, Anne also offers classes in her store, Bare Naked Wools Boutique.
