We are all committed to helping owners provide a long life of health & happiness for each of their pets. We are known for being — honest, warm, friendly and caring, taking the time to listen to our clients and then fully explaining a pets health condition.

We know that every pet and family is different. We provide the highest quality of veterinary medicine but then temper our recommendations with compassion & commonsense to meet the needs of the individual family.

History

Established in 1986.

Our new hospital allows us to provide the same quality service we have always given, but in a much safer, more comfortable and efficient building.

Our previous clinic was a 70 year old house that prevented us from offering more the more advanced care our patients deserved. We hope you will be as proud to call us your veterinary home as we are.

Business Owner

I started with a biology degree from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) then graduated from Auburn University with my veterinary degree in 1997. I took over Cherokee Animal Hospital in 2006 and have been very busy ever since! I am married to a very patient man, have two wonderful children and a house full of animals. Being a veterinarian is all I ever considered doing. I feel very lucky that I get to do what I love every day, and am surrounded by truly fabulous people both at home and at work!
