Being a member of the Carpet One family of independently owned stores allows us to operate on a local level but have the buying power of over 1300 stores. We install all types of products and will measure your project, plus give design suggestions based on over 27 years experience.

History

Established in 1985.

Opened in 1985 by Hank, Dulcy, and Mark Saunders. Hank had been in the sales end of flooring for 25 years when he decided to open a retail business to get off the road as a mill rep. His wife and son joined in the fun and together serviced the greater Atlanta and north Georgia territory. In 2000 Etowah Flooring became Etowah Flooring Carpet One by joining the best flooring cooperative available. The association has proven to allow the modest store to compete with much larger operations on price and product.

As owner of this store, it is my desire to treat you with respect and honesty. I’ve tried to keep the costs of your projects fair and still be able to run a business that employees and sub-​contractors rely on to provide and take care of their families. I have an Architectural degree from Virginia Polytechnical Institute (Virginia Tech) and had worked in the field 10 years before joining my family in this venture. I appreciate every day I am able to help families better their living spaces with our services.
