This giant eagle is one of the newer expanded service big birds. I normally wouldn’t rave about a grocery but this is one of the better ones. They have an expanded deli and bakery with a lot of fresh salads and a lot of artisan breads. The olive bar is a bit pricey but it is nice if you only want a few to try or to make a tapenade on muffelatta night. This location also sports a very nice liquor store. They don’t carry Oyo vodka for some reason. Oyo is a very nice local(Columbus) vodka. It actually has flavor. The omission might be due to the fact that Giant Eagle is based in Pittsburgh. I’m just guessing. This location has a better than average seafood selection. I am assuming that is due to the slightly higher income demographic in this neighborhood. Nice selection of craft beers. This place is my go to for olives and alcohol.

Good selection. Good prices if you factor in and use your fuel perks, coupons, and eOffers. They will now honor competitor coupons. State liquor store, pharmacy, bakery and on site meat cutters add to the value. Great employees, too!

Ahhh, this is my favorite Giant Eagle around. Am I silly for having a favorite Giant Eagle? Maybe. but, if you had to choose one, I would choose THIS one. It’s newer, it’s big, but not too big… and items are easy to find. Did I mention it’s open 24 hours a day? Did I mention it’s in a nice part of town? Did I mention it’s near a Starbucks AND Handel’s? Ok, just checking :)
