History

Established in 1963.

This old package store/​convenience store had seen better days. It was a hot spot after the Ross Barnett Reservoir was built and continued to be through the 80s. The current owners, Mitch and Sloane Tyner, purchased the old facility with the idea of bulldozing it and erecting mini storage in its place. However, after purchasing it, the Tyners realized that the old country store could become viable, so they cleaned it up and remodeled and brought it back to life. In 2008, Larry Scheel joined the team and created a wholesale liquor business from scratch. Larry is responsible for taking Frank’s Package Store/​Harry Ts Wholesale from the bottom 10% in sales to the top 4% in the entire state of Mississippi. This little country store has one the best wine selections in the state.

Born in Yazoo City, MS. Grew up in Canton MS. Attended Mississippi College and earned a computer science degree. Then studied law at Mississippi College Law School and Tulane Law School and earned a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Mitch is a trial lawyer licensed to practice for 27 years. He is licensed in Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana and Washington DC. Lives with his wife and 3 children in Ridgeland, MS.
