Food is ok but I won’t recommend this place to anyone. The food is underwhelming. I say go somewhere else that has great food the same price. Jasmine’s Asian is one I will recommend.

It’s back and forth with this place. Sometimes it’s great, others, like today, it’s not so good. I decided to do hibachi today, so I load up a plate and hand it to the guy. While I wait I decided to grab some sushi and take it back to my table. Knowing hibachi takes a couple minutes, I sit a moment and talk to my mom who is dining with me. We’re seated near the back(despite there being tons of seating towards the front) at a booth that’s missing it’s overhead light bulb. I go back to check on my hibachi, and the cook hasn’t even moved it once. His back is to the grill and he’s texting on his phone that he’s keeping hidden under a towel. He turns, flips my food around once, then hands it to me. So one side of my food is scorched and the other is barely done. Not the best experience today.

Don’t come here the price might be low and yes there is lots of food but the food is all cold the bathrooms(both of them) are really dirty! Save your money and go somewhere else

Ate here a couple if times and its alright. They usually have all the trays stocked and never have them empty. Food is pretty good and the price is not that bad. The only negative is it can get really busy on the weekends and causes crowds around the food.

Did I go to the same place that all these reviews were speaking of??? I’m confused. This is supposed to be a Chinese Restaurant. However, there are 2+ full bars that were full of Americanized food… Including a roast beef rump, sweet potatoes… Among other things. I was disappointed ppl. Truly. It seemed well stocked, and we went around 8 tonite. But I have to say, I don’t understand what all the hype is. Unless— it’s another«place to go mindlessly gorging myself«kind of attitude. I’m all about the quality of food— not the quantity. They didn’t keep the sushi stocked which was a let down. But I did sample enough to know I would enjoy that again. And I had the fresh Hibachi which was pleasant. The other food was just a turn off to me… The waitresses were very strange here as well. Not very friendly and not very attentive. This was the first time in a long time that I didn’t leave a tip. If in the area I might consider stopping back at lunch to get Sushi, but I certainly won’t drive from Akron again just to eat here. I just don’t get it… Honestly. ??? Update*************** Was here again just a cpl of weeks ago. We came right after lunch, around 2. I guess it’s technically still lunch. It was $ 8.25? With my drink? Well I think the problem before was we went right before closing time. The servers were probably spent for the day. Food as well. This visit it was much more pleasant. Even tho I didn’t try any of the regular hot food— it was plentiful and steaming. I went for the sushi honestly. It’s really good for a buffet !!! I also got the hibachi— and it was fresh as well. The server was very nice and cordial. On top of refills. And everytg looked very clean. I’ve changed my mind. We will be back!!!

For an Asian Buffet, I don’t think it gets much better than this. Tons of food to choose from and it won’t break the bank. The sushi is good and they even have a hibachi grill you can use and yes it’s included.

For Chinese buffet, Katana is pretty impressive. The cost is low and the diversity of food choices is probably the most I have ever seen – and i have been to a lot of Chinese buffets. They have a respectable selection of sushi and nigiri. There is a good Mongolian bbq station(although wait time is rather long). Other fare included roast beef, ham, and several styles of shrimp. Everything i tried was decent to very good. Service was passable. Would definitely return if they were closer. If you like chinese buffets, i would definitely recommend Katana.

This was my second time here. Both times have been great. The food was hot and fresh. Each time my service was fine. I would recommended this to anyone.

The food was pretty good. I loved the Japanese Chicken and the Honey Chicken was really good too. The sushi was average and they seemed to keep everything fresh. Seating was fast and our waitress kept the table cleared and the water full. Would like to give a 3.5 but the server kept them from being a 3.

Good place to try sushi. There is a lot of food turnover so you don’t need to worry so much about food sitting out too long. Price is great for what you get.

Very good inexpensive sushi. Large variety of Chinese food. Best Chinese buffet in canton in this lower price. Range. I ‘ve been a repeat customer for several years. Since they opened. And have never been disappointed.

By far the best Chinese buffet we have ever been to. I don’t know how this place escaped my notice for so long! Very inexpensive; about $ 7.50 for lunch and $ 10 for dinner. Food is hot and fresh; items are frequently replenished. Tons of variety — fruit bar, salad bar, dessert bar, traditional Chinese buffet foods. Plus they have a sushi bar and a hibachi bar where you can have food cooked to order. Décor is nice and things are kept very clean. In the realm of Chinese buffets, I highly recommend this one!

Stopped in for lunch during the week and thought the food was pretty good. It was really busy and the hibachi line was too long for me to wait but it looked good. There was a good selection of dishes and the service was good even though they were really busy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Chinese buffet.

One of my favorite Chinese buffets. They have a variety of different dishes that others in the area do not. I’ve always been weird about tipping at buffets. I never know how much to leave since they just bring you drinks. Last time we went the waitress practically forced us to leave a tip. You pay when you go in so I left a tip on my card. She then gave us a bill holder that had a thing about tipping on it. She then told us to read it and stood there while we did. She then smiled pointed at it and walked away. I found this highly rude.

Honestly I can’t get over how amazing this place is. I have been to SO many Chinese buffets in my life. It’s my favorite type of food. Whenever I first moved to Canton I was dying to fill a void in my stomach from my favorite places back home. This place tops every other place I have been! The sauces on everything are perfect. A big variety of anything you want. I’m even starting to get into sushi, which I’ve always been afraid to try, because of how gorgeous it looks. You can tell everything is fresh. My only real complaint is, I don’t have enough money or else I would go there every day! This place is always busy, and I don’t fare well in large crowds, so I always come during opening times. That’s the best.

Only reason i didn’t give it a 5 star is because of service, and some of the rude waiters. The guy that sat us the other night put us way in the back, away from everyone else there was nobody seated back there, and it was completely away from all the buffets. When we asked if we could be moved closer he said«you look young i thought you could handle walking but i guess not» this offended me, my boyfriend has Multiple Sclerosis and has trouble walking at times and balance issues so i thought he was out of line to assume because we were young we should be seated in the back of the restaurant. Love the sushi, wish they would give a description of what the different ones are, but I do just fine deciphering with most. There is a large food selection and something for everyone. It is a bit pricy, especially when they charge for the kids, my 4 year old maybe eats half a plate full but we definitely get our fill so that I guess makes up for it. Another pro about this restaurant is nothing is ever empty, and your never waiting on anything to be re-filled. They keep it stocked and fresh unlike other chinese buffets I have been to.

The lunch time deal is fantastic. Where can you get a hibachi style you pick veggies and protein plate, cooked to order, along with sushi, a fruit and salad bar, Chinese and a few Americanized dishes and ice cream dessert bar for less than $ 8? The hibachi plate is the way to go. Select from steak, chicken, shrimp, or egg, plus a nice selection of veggies. Cooked while you watch. Sushi looks fresh and the steam tables with all kinds of Chinese also looks fresh. Crab Rangoon and pot stickers are favorites along with the sesame chicken and fish. Tables are not huge and neither are the booths. Good for all size groups and kids. Dinner is crowded but we found the late afternoon lunch on Black Friday to be surprisingly u crowded.

I must say that this is probably the best Chinese buffet that I’ve been to — although that’s not saying much. There is a huge selection, and, at least when I went, the food was being placed out speedily enough that it was always appropriately hot. Among the food choices are the typical varieties of chicken, shrimp, ride, and fruit, but aside from these norms there was also a custom, personalized hibachi bar, a sushi bar with approximately 10 selections, and a hefty dessert section. The price is a little on the high side for a Chinese buffet. Lunch is ~$ 7 and dinner is ~$ 11.

Wow. Just wow. I have eaten at a lot of Asian buffets and even when they are okay I’m fine with it. But this one — EVERYTHING I ate was delicious. We were on our way back from Columbus Ohio and I was sick of American food. Mama needed some Asian cuisine. We found this on Unilocal and laughed that since it was CANTON it would have good CATONese food. Ha! Well the sushi was good, even their dumplings(which are NEVER good on any buffet I’ve ever been to) was good, the soup was good, their American food was loved by my 5 year old.. .the price was great. I was really surprised. Our waiter was fantastic and he made origami for my weary daughters who had been riding in the car FOREVER. Please move to the RTP area and open a restaurant! Thank you for a great meal.
