This is our family’s favorite Asian restaurant around. The hot food is incredible and the sushi is super fresh and delicious. The staff is very helpful, kind, and fast. Jason, the manager, seems to always me there either managing or cooking, and is incredibly personable. We highly recommend it!

Ate there last night before the Super Bowl. Way too much salt in my dish. My wife’s dish was fine, but my sons $ 25 dish has fake crab that was terrible. Will not go back!!!

This is my favorite place to get sushi in town. Best selection I have seen. Never been disappointed. I have not tried any of the dishes just sushi. I have only gotten it to go as well.

I have been here several times and it used to be great. Placed a take out order tonight and it was terrible! I literally had to throw over half of my food away. The sushi has been good in the past. One of my favorite dishes is Mongolian beef and I have no idea what happened to this tonight but it was BAD! I’m afraid I won’t be going back because their food is too expensive to throw out.

Ate for the first time here last night. My husband and I were very happy with the flavor, presentation, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. All for a very fair price! Will definitely go back!

I generally like places with small menus. Places that make a few things, but make them well. Li’s is exactly the opposite. A panoply of mediocre Asian cuisine. I decided to order from the«authentic Asian menu» — akin to those secret Chinese menus you have to specifically ask for at other sit-down Chinese restaurants. Now, I’ve grown up eating Chinese BBQ pork, and the pile of crap they served me was likely the worst I’ve ever eaten. The best chinese bbq pork is flavorful, juicy, slightly crisp, with caramelized ends. What I was served was not that. In addition to tasting like it was a week old, it was flavorless and cold. And it wasn’t like any cha siu sauce I’ve ever eaten. More like tomato sauce with some random spices in it. My dining partners got the range of Asian cuisine, including the sushi, which apparently is very good. I can’t really comment on the other dishes. I will say the reactions to those dishes were not positive. My advice to this place is to forget the overpriced Pan Asian cuisine and focus on the small part of the menu that you’re actually good at making.

My favorite sushi place. Very good food and the people who work there know their stuff. Ask for Kyle for your waiter. You can tell he’s been around the food service business for awhile. Owner is very nice and jokes with my wife and I when he sees us there. Also have a Geisha Girl. Very light flavored drink. 5 stars all day long!

This place is ok… Very good selection for Sushi options and hot plates. I think this place is very over priced compared to other Asian cuisines in the area. Sushi is fresh but the hot plates are not very tasty in my opinion. I ll go here on Sundays when other places are closed. its ok but be prepared to spend more cash then other places

In town for work last week — we tried the Avocado Salad and the Seaweed Salad — fresh and delicious. The sushi was also very fresh, and perfectly rolled. We also had great service. I will go back!

My wife and I have made this a restaurant of choice. The food has always been excellent and the service is pleasant. One of the first meals I ate here, aside from the sushi was the steamed fish. It was light and delicate. I just loved the flavor. I am tempted to get this every time but I am trying the entire menu.

I love sushi and I’ve been to most every place in the Akron/Canton area — this place was by far the best. I honestly wasn’t expecting it either. I’ve been a huge fan of A1 which is located right across the street, but I am soooo glad I gave this place a try. The décor is amazing and the staff is very attentive and professional. The prices weren’t outrageous like Wasabi or Basil, but it is a little bit more than A1 — but WORTHIT! I had the sunshine roll and it was great! The best miso soup I’ve had anywhere! Give this place a try and you’ll be coming back again!

Update: After I posted my not-happy review, the manager contacted me through Unilocal. He provided a short apology but followed with a lot of explaining. I will not repost his comments here, but suffice to say, they were in line with the same misunderstanding that got us here in the first place. I responded: «I left you a bad review because we left unhappy. We left unhappy because of how you and your staff handled my simple question about possibly being charged incorrectly, which I asked because we were *served incorrectly*(more than once!). I asked a question at my table, our server argued, the manager argued through the server as we tried to leave, and the manager explained the argument further online. Can you see how I might categorize this as a bad experience?» I paid the bill. I said the service was bad and we didn’t get what we expected. In this situation, I resent, «Sorry, but…» I appreciate, «Sorry for ruining your night. We’re taking a closer look at our menu and how our servers handle order discrepancies to make sure there’s no confusion. It won’t happen again.» Simply bad customer service. No other way to hash it.

Considering the area, which is plagued by chain restaurants, this is so clean and unique. There is not many restaurants that have me NEEDING to order the same sushi roll every time. Ask for a ‘stuffed bun’ before you sit down. It takes a while to cook, but they bring you four asian dumplings, each the size of baseballs, for only $ 5. Great value. Peking duck is so tender. I was skeptical at first, but as with everything else on the menu, this is a great value for two. Don’t miss out on this because it is never packed which tells me that the area, which is sometimes an ignorant one, will most certainly try and kill this place off because of some of the more mainstream options in the area. Having tried those other options I can assure you that you are not going to find a cleaner and better priced option around.

The only problem with finding something you really like on the menu such as their electric shock roll is that that’s what I tend to order every time I stop here. So I rounded it out with some miso soup and seaweed salad. Yummers.

Ok for a quick Asian meal. Thought the service was a little slow since there were only a few tables of patrons there. They had some different roll choices which I appreciated. They also had a description of all entrees so you knew exactly what you were going to get. I tried the tempura banana roll. First time I had seen one so I thought why not? I was surprised that it was a fried banana with salad greens rolled in with it. Would not have put that combo together but it works. I also tried the rainbow shrimp entrée. Piping HOT! Most of their entrees you could get with shrimp, chicken, or beef. It was a large enough plate I couldn’t finish it. My one issue was that the shrimp could have been cleaned/deveined a little better. Still good though. I posted pics of both if you want to check them out.

I did not care for this place at all the first six months they were here. Tried it five or six times and found it to be inconsistent. I would have definitely given it one star before. Lately though, they seem to be doing a better job, especially with their sushi and I appreciate the dim sum. I hope they continue the trend towards bringing dishes that are not at other Canton restaurants.

I was here for lunch and I was very surprised on how good my service was. Some of the most friendly, helpful service I’ve ever had. I ended up getting the sashimi bento box and it was delicious. It featured tuna and snapper and it certainly was fresh. The seaweed salad was outstanding as well… I could have eaten that all day. It also came with soup and I chose the miso… it was good, nothing special but it was not too salty which can be a problem with soups like that, so I do give them credit for that. I was also impressed with the prices — most everything was pretty reasonable. I am excited to come back here and try various other choices because this was a very good experience.

I can’t count the number of times I’ve been here now. Too many! Never been disappointed and now they have a new menu with even more variety. I favor the sushi but have had other dishes as well. Consistently good. My «go to» restaurant in this area.
