Wife and I were in from out of town– looking for a local watering hole… Great find here. Super friendly service. Sat at the bar– easy going drinks.

The Burgers were very good and juicy and very filling, they were cooked perfectly to what we asked and were over all great burgers. The service was great and very attentive. We never had to wait around for our waitress to come by for help she was always checking in. Over all this place was a wonderful restaurant for a wonderful filling bar burger and a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

My friend had left his License at home; we were out and about and decided to grab a beer. Not serving him is understandable, but as we left the young bar tender yelled «Hey just bring your ID next time; don’t be butthurt about it!»
I had already checked out and gave a tip (not really sure why), but I wish I would have gone back and taken the tip back.
To further review the place, it seems that most of the white trash of Canton gather here… pathetic draft selection, and a dingy kind of vibe. I get it’s called «The Rusty Nail», but typically you draw business in with a name and a service, not bring it to fruition.

Good food, nice wait staff, not to big on the country music but they have a jukebox. Chef is good at how to cook your meat, medium and medium rare.

Every time we go here it’s a blast! Not just the food, the perfect beverages but the company! From the bartenders, waitresses and specials. It’s like our own personal Canton Cheers! :)

The Nail has been in Canton since the 1970s

It is my fall-​back bar when I want to get out of the house with some friends for a few hours.
If your are looking for something more pretentious there are several options along Ford Rd or head in downtown Plymouth
This is not one of those places.

Been coming here with friends for years now since I had some pals that lived in the neighborhood. Visits used to be more frequent and nowadays we only come in when certain pals are in from out of town and back home in Canton but it still feels very welcoming and regular. In fact, I always get a little excited when I’m going to the Nail because I know that it means that some of my favorite people that I may not have seen in a while are in town.
It’s nothing fancy, just your typical neighborhood bar, but that’s kind of what we like about it. It’s never so crowded that a big group of us can’t get a table (or pull a few tables together). Cheap beers (nothing craft or the like here so be be prepared) and drinks, decent bar food, nice servers, and the clientele is your average Joe & Jane so no stuffy pretension here. Lots of food specials too if you want to eat on the cheap. It won’t be healthy (think onion rings, burgers, fish & chips) but it’ll be a steal.

Came for trivia night on Tuesday. The staff were very accomodating to our large group and were great in regards to service. Several of us ordered cocktails and they brought them out quickly and checked on us often. A few members of our group ordered appetizers and they enjoyed them.
While I didn’t eat, I looked at the menu and they looked to have your regular bar menu… Burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, fish, etc.
Prices seamed reasonable.
They have a lot of trivia and other events and often have specials (coney dogs, sloppy joes, tacos).
I would recommend the Rusty Nail!

It’s a dive bar. Ok, now that you understand know that the ally specials are the regular menu offerings and not changed to reflect the special pricing on the «daily special».
As I travel for a living and have been to more bars than most; I can tell you this «daily special» doesn’t change then the normal offering.

Good stuff. The Rusty Nail is a solid option for some bar food and a beer if you want to go out to watch a game. Service is friendly and while the food is just typical bar food, it is good and I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered. There are daily specials. My husband is a fan of the Wednesday coney special. I usually get a grilled cheese sandwich, regardless of the day. The beer is cold and relatively inexpensive.
Most importantly, there are lots of high-​quality televisions showing sporting events. And lots of tables, most seats with a view of the game you want to see. While the Nail does fill up, we can usually get a table without a problem. You can’t go wrong.

It’s a bar with bar food. Nothing fancy. Tasty 75 cent coneys on Wednesdays, and other specials on other days. I’ve been there many times and will be back for many more.

Good ol Classic homey dive bar. It is what it is. Familiar faces and a good jukebox. Cheap American beer and bar food.

I really enjoy this place. Yes, it’s typical bar food, but it is bar food done right! Menu pricing is a little high, but the secret is to order the daily specials, which are always good and a great value! I think their Coney dogs are my all-​time favorite — the Coney sauce/​chili is the best! Definitely a locals-​place, but as someone who visits from outside the area, I always feel welcome. Staff is very friendly and efficient too.

Great fun atmosphere with plenty of TV’s to watch the ball game, which is number one in my book. The burgers and chili were really good at super low prices which is hard to find at most bars these days. The bartender was a friendly good guy. Give the Rusty Nail a try for a fun night.

The menu is way over-​priced. The food selection isn’t terrible, but leaves some to be desired. The beer selection, however, is just awful. I get it, you’re not a craft beer joing, but at least give me something better than piss water beer.
Getting together with the guys on Tuesday nights is nice, but I’ve been pushing to go elsewhere. Only reason we frequent this place is Tuesday night trivia with Gina.

Nice atmosphere! Wasn’t impressed with the fish very bland, they need to replace the kraft tarter sauce that comes with the meal and make a homemade tarter sauce!

Cold drinks and good food.
I’ve been to the «Nail» numerous times and have always come away satisfied. Fish and chips on Friday, $ 3.99 burger and fries on Saturday (Seriously, best deal around), and some decent drink specials during the week. It’s a refreshing change for the chain restaurants and bars on Ford Rd, the only thing I wish was a better selection of draft and bottled beer, no Michigan beers on tap which is really strange since even at those chains you can get a pint of Michigan brew.

2^nd time is the charm right? WRONG! Couldn’t make up my mind so I figured I’d stop in for some of the fish n chips I’ve heard so much about. Unfortunately, if it’s not Saturday they’re not on the menu. They do however have a $ 3.99 burger & fry special, which might have been tempting if I could get past what smelled like raw sewage. Truly, the inside of the place tonight smelled like a warm outhouse.
Top it off with less than enthusiastic service and the deal is sealed. I’m off to find food elsewhere, and I won’t be back.

50¢ Coneys on Wednesdays when you buy any drink. What a steal! Yes I am in a bar with my dad in the afternoon but hey it’s a bargain and pretty respectably tasty to boot. Yep they charged my dad a quarter for more onion and me a quarter for some jalapenos but still a total deal!
We also split some decent onion rings. Healthy lunch? Ummmm no. Happily tasty? Yes. Cheap as hell? Check. Congenial atmosphere here with friendly and helpful staff. Looks like a dive outside but you will feel at home once you make it in.
I took my dad here because James has never gotten coneys. I don’t mean he hasn’t eaten them, I mean he doesn’t *get* them, respect them or love them. Therefore James was not invited, no worries he was working and couldn’t have cared less. Besides, I have to take my dad out solo style from time to time or he feels left out of my adventures. It gives us a chance to talk about things my mom would not be remotely interested in.
We will both be back. My dad wants to try the quarter priced wings on a Sunday and I can lure James in for buck tacos on a Monday for sure.
