After traveling to a number of carpet/rug stores in Ohio and Pennsylvania, my family went to Shaheen’s in Canton and realized we had wasted our time everywhere else. Their selection is amazing, and the carpets are not just piled up where you need two salespeople to help you even look. They know their stuff inside and out, from the provenance to the dyes used. We knew what we wanted and we knew our price range, and instead of the constant attempts to up-sell, they showed us high quality carpets that were even more economical. In the end, we bought a large gorgeous wool carpet for a better price than we saw anywhere else and we did not have to haggle at all. They allowed us to take two home to decide on which was the best fit – something that most places would not allow free of charge. We couldn’t be happier and we will continue to support this wonderful local business and spread the word.
