We design and build wood stairs. Anything from curved stairs, straight stairs, custom stair parts to standard off the shelf stair parts. We can install what we sell you or simply supply you with the parts. Our customers satisfaction is our driving force and we go to great lengths to see that all of our customers are completely happy with the final product.

History

Established in 1999.

Summit Stairs is a privately owned business. We have three manufacturing facilities. They are in Canton Georgia, Charlotte and Raleigh North Carolina. We are continually adding new products to our company that helps consumers beautify their homes and adds value to them as well.

Manager

I have been in the stair business since 1992. Prior to entering the stair business I was in construction doing interior trim work and framing new homes. I went back to school and received a diploma in Drafting from Gwinnett Technical Institute and upon graduation I was immediately hired by a stair company that started my career in this field. I have really enjoyed everything I have learned about this industry. My first few years in stairs was spent designing them in AutoCAD and doing the math calculations for the shop to build them. As the years passed I have peformed many different duties and learned a lot about stairs and business in general. I love being in this industry as I get a lot of satisfaction in seeing a job go from conception, design, production and final installation.
