I wish there was a –5 star. I am very disappointed, I regret trying this place out, please pay and go to a reputable place for you hair needs. First of all I chose this place because it was really close to my home and they had available time (well no one walked in since 11:15−2) sign? How does a hair stylist go wrong with dying hair darker? I never had a problem before. my hair is a darkish brown and I decided I wanted to go darker like I usually do. so we talked and I was clear to her that I wanted darker hair just not black. we chose the color that she agreed would give me a darker shade. and I could tell right away when the towel came out that it was actually lighter. I had virgin hair that had grown out. I was concerned about the products she uses and I had never heard of but I trusted her. I was WRONG. well there went $$ down the drain. I will never go there again. and want to warn others. I should have known better and there were plenty of signs like so she claims shes great and seemed like that was all she talked about but this proved to be the reason why she had to mention why she was so great. she offered to do it again but I didn’t want to trust her. who knows what products she was using. she shouldn’t have charged me. I think she may have mixed too much peroxide and then tried to BLAME my hair. That is why im here because shes suppose to be a proffesional, knowlegable hair stylist. come on now I use salon shampoo and take care of my hair. she claimed I needed a trim. I just had one a few DAYS ago, 5 to be exact!!! I hope the owner and this lady Victoria read this review because this is the reason people don’t try out little stores like these. I rather have paid $ 80 for a well done job PLEASE stay away. Now I need to spend more money more time and with who knows what in my hair.

My longtime barber, Rose, moved to Laura’s from the My Video Store location, and I am so glad that she as found a business home here. She is way in the back and has a good business going. She does not take appointments, but the wait is usually take too long. She is an expert barber, very personable and her prices are good. She knows what I like and always does a good job. Worth seeking Rose out if you need a barber in the area.
