New World Dance

Great dance studio to take your kids to from any age and skill level. I have taken my kids there for over 20 years and have not been disappointed. Terry and Brandy keep up with what’s new in the industry while making sure the kids are not displayed as «sexual objects». I get so tired of watching other studios with their little kids scantily clad and booty shaking. This is something you never have to worry about at New World!

its so nice to come back and take from Terry again after being gone for 15 years. Thank you NWD for welcoming me back! Just wish there was more adult hip hop/​urban dance out here. I have to studio hop in the area to take from different instructors that have adults. But Im very happy there is still a Wednesday Night adult int/​adv class =)

I kept forgetting to review this place.
I enrolled my 4 year old daughter to ballet and tap dance class 2,5 years ago. We thought it was a nice place to learn but then the instructor, I forgot her name, probably Linda was punishing my daughter because she couldn’t clap and stomp her feet altogether. She kept asking my daughter to repeat the moves over and over while other girls sitting down on the floor and tap my daughter’s forehead couple of times. My daughter cried. She was so scared. Then I asked linda what happened she replied oh its ok she needs to practice thats all. Mind you, my daughter was only 4 years old that time. This class supposed to be fun for these kids, not stressful. And we cancelled the class even though we still have 4 more class to attend (we only attended the class 3 times).
Because of this lady, my daughter doesn’t want to go to any ballet class anymore. She can’t forget how Linda treated her.

Disappointed as I walked in. First of all this place is very small, no where to sit, and crowded inside with parents standing all over the place and blocking the door way. And second of all they dont seem to have good customer service. I walked in to get info on prices and the person at front desk didn’t even acknowledge me as she was too busy talking to other parents. I was standing there for a few minutes and was ignored. I was so annoyed that I just walked out. One of my biggest pet peeves is the lack of customer service!
