What a great experience they were she was knowledgeable fast friendly clean decent price we have 2 dogs and 3 cats and will be using her from now on.

After coming home from a weekend trip, my wife and I noticed that our tortoise shell cat wasn’t acting as she normally did.
She was stuck on the couch, clearly couldn’t move, and seemed to be in some amount of pain. Needless to say we decided it was time to make the incredibly difficult decision to put her down.
I made some calls to some others on Unilocal,and they all referred me back to to Mesa. I called the number provided, left a message, and was called back in less than 5 minutes. I explained to Dr. Mesa the health issues that our cat had faced in the previous year, and she agreed with me that other than running a full battery of tests, that the decision to euthanize was the right way to go.
Saying our cat was high strung, would be a gross understatement. Our poor kitty wore the weight of the world on her shoulders, and I didn’t think a trip to a strange vets office was the right thing to do. I spoke about their in home euthanasia options, and it just made more sense. I was so concerned about keeping Mable comfortable, that I neglected all of my chores for the day, and just sort of hung out with her.
My wife doesn’t get home from the office until after their normal office hours which wasn’t a problem. Yes, there was a small hike in the fee, but the entire service was less expensive than I’ve dealt with in the past.
The technician was a little bit late, but very apologetic. I blame the real estate developer for naming streets so similarly. Martha was incredibly empathetic and told us to take as much time as we needed, even though she had another appointment later that night all the way in Pasadena.
All in all, it was a good experience. Our sweet kitty left the world as peacefully as possible, which was a nice change of pace from the worry wort lifestyle she lived.
This was not only my first experience with Dr. Mesa, but my first with the in home euthanasia services. I highly recommend both. Thank you for understanding what a trying time this can be for a family and being so open and available to making things work with our schedule not yours.

I can’t express enough how wonderful Dr. Mesa and her staff are. I have a very old Chihuahua who is blind. She was able to do all the tests for him in my home. I thought we were going to have to put him down. Dr. Mesa was able to find out that he was a diabetic. I have my old doggie back. He is happy and plays like his old self again. They are truly a blessing.

So grateful this service exists. I contacted our local vet where our dog Happy had gone for vaccines. I was told she wasn’t a frequent enough patient to qualify for home euthanizing. They gave me two numbers for places that 1) Only does cows and 2) Doesn’t do it anymore. So I went to Unilocal and read the reviews for Mesa Mobile.
Contacted Mesa mobile in the morning and was able to get a late afternoon appointment. We had discovered that our 13 yr old dog could no longer walk that morning. They gave me pricing and when they arrived — the price was less because my dog wasn’t the 80 lb weight. (I paid $ 385) I liked that they were honest. They were so compassionate, patient and kind. They were gentle with our beloved Happy and walked us through the process. They did not rush us to say our good-​byes and even reassured us we were doing the right thing (my husband was unsure). The male technican even listened to Happy’s lungs after noticing her belabored breathing and said there was probably an obstruction.
We asked if we could not watch our dog be taken out of our home. They were so understanding. They also told us even though we declined the return of ashes, the communal ashes will be scattered in a scenic site in San Diego — into the ocean.
When facing this decision, you want to be sure you are doing the right thing. They even offered to take her bedding, dog food and other belongings and said they donate them to a shelter. That was super helpful — rather than having to go through the pain of removing the items afterwards.
For as difficult as this event was — Mesa Mobile helped make it the best it could be. My Happy did not have to have anxiety going into the vet, we did not have to have anxiety over saying good-​bye at the vet (been there, done that — its not fun crying your eyes out in the vet’s office). We were able to have a private goodbye and she left this world with dignity and lots of love.

Today I had to put my giant wolf hybrid Grizzley down. My dog was diagnosed with Valley Fever a few years ago and has been struggling with the disease since. Yesterday her affected hip had a massive flair up and her entire foot was swollen. I was able to get her inside my house and it wasn’t a moment too soon because after she made it inside she immediately went to the floor and could no longer lift herself up to stand. There was no way I could get a 130 pound dog into a vehicle when she was in so much pain and she’s such a large dog. I was so thankful to find a mobile vet in the area. The vet, Dr. Mesa was so incredible with the situation. She came in and knew that the situation wasn’t good. She allowed me to facetime my husband who was out of town to be able to «experience» our doggies passing. She was so compassionate and allowed me my time to grieve and walked us through the process. She sat at pet my pup while she worked on her. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Mesa. Such a warm person who understands how much we love our furry kids. Thank you.

Great mobile service! Technician was friendly & fast! Would definitely recommend! My kitties were given their shots quickly & they were able to run back to their room before anyone got scratched.

This doctor is so helpful!!! I needed advice whether my dog needed to be seen by her or not and she was honest with me and gave me perfect advice on how to handle the situation!!! I will definitely use her in the future for vet services, much more convenient and professional than most vets I have dealt with. She was not intimidated when I told her my dog was nervous when it came to vet visits, she exuded confidence and told me exactly how she would handle him. Looking forward to our first visit!!!

This was our first time using this mobile vet service and besides running a tiny bit late I couldn’t be happier. We had to put our very old dog to sleep. They were very sympathetic to what was going on which was really nice. I was so worried that they would just run in and run out and just be all business. She explained the whole process in great detail so nobody was wondering what was going on. She had as all around her as she passed. She let us know right at the moment she left us and even let us sit with her for a bit and say our goodbyes. I, as well as my family, could not have been happier with how the very sad experience went. In addition, my mom insisted that we also have our pup cremated which when I asked how much money I thought was pretty ridiculous. One week later our little pup was hand delivered to my front door in a lovely small box with a tag with her name on it and a little imprint of her foot. It was very special and worth every penny. If you are fretting about the difficult decision of putting a pet to sleep I HIGHLY suggest this vet to do it without any hesitation. I hope to be able to use Mesa Mobile Vet Services again and not for something so depressing next time is all :)

After suffering for awhile, we as a family decided to put our beautiful fur baby Domino down. It was with a heavy heart that I called Dr. Mesa to come and do a home euthanasia. Dr. Mesa and her assistant came to my home and with family surrounding her, Dr. Mesa explained to us all what would be happening. As I held my beloved dog in my lap, Dr. Mesa gave her the first shot which helped her to completely relax. I asked Dr. Mesa that after her second shot, if she would let us know when to give Domino her «final kisses and goodbyes». Dr. Mesa told us it was time and the entire family got to say their goodbyes and kisses and we sent her into the arms of God. Dr. Mesa and her assistant stood off to the side of the room and cried right along with us all. Even though this was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, Dr. Mesa gave us a gift… the gift of giving my beautiful dog of 16 years a dignified, painless loving send off in the comfort of her own home surrounded by all of her family, truly, truly a beautiful gift. They took my beautiful fur baby away, and now we are waiting again for her to return home where we can keep her ashes here with us. Dr. Mesa took care of everything and for that, I will be eternally grateful!

We called Dr. Mesa to euthanize our 16 year old dog. It was last minute, and in the evening. They arrived on time and she and her assistant were very professional. They were peaceful, quiet, and it was as if they were bearly there, she just explained what she would be doing next and gently went throught the steps. I was balling like a baby, and could hardly talk to her, but she had a caring face and she made the experience as gentle as possible..

I’ve used Mesa Mobile twice. Dr. Mesa arrived on time or a couple minutes early, both times; on one of those occasions they had called ahead of time to let me know that they were able to come early and asked if that would work for me.
They were very pleasant — both Dr. Mesa and her assistant.
The prices were much more reasonable than the emergency pet clinic, and she did not insist on extensive re-​testing for my aging kitty in order to give him the thyroid medicine he needed. (I had just had all testing done in the «ER» and I was able to give her the lab /​xray results.)
The second time she came out was to do a re-​check on that cat, and she also treated another cat that I’ve got (intestinal issues). This time was a little less wonderful — they left the IV bottle and tubing on the floor when they left.
Nonetheless, I was impressed with their timeliness as well as their professionalism. They were very gentle and kind to my cats.
In my experience, I always expect people to be late (unlike the other poster) and don’t leave after twenty minutes. Yes, my time is valuable, but the time it would have taken to make an appointment at a storefront vet, then drive there, wait (when do you ever get in on time?) and drive back — would have well exceeded an hour.
I agree that if someone says they will be somewhere at a certain time, they’d better be there. *I* never keep anyone waiting. However, I have my own faults, and expect others to have their own issues. This is why I have a little more flexibiilty with service providers arriving late.

Mesa Mobile Veterinary Clinic is based out of Canyon Lake,
an even more upscale city than Menifee. lol
They have a larger ad in the yellow pages with a great picture
of the smiling & personable-​looking Dr. Mesa.
They’re the only ones I could find that do house calls in the area,
which was the main reason I decided to try em’ out even though
there were no reviews yet. I have a good friend that ran into Dr.
Mesa while running errands; she talked to her about her practice
& said that Dr. Mesa came across as knowledgeable & caring.
So imagine my surprise after making an appointment, when she
never showed. I waited for her for 20 minutes-​my max wait time
when someone doesn’t have the consideration to show or call
& say they’re running late.
Over an hour past the appointment, I get a call from her assistant,
who was acting like he thought he was my father, trying to grill me
about where I was. Nice try on attempting to turn the tables. lol
My experience has been that if that someone can’t be trusted with
the little things, they sure won’t be trustworthy with the big ones
either. So I count it a blessing that they didn’t do any work on our
special dog. I guess all that’s left at say is… next! :)
