History

Established in 1995.

Ron Larrivee started the entertainment business in 1995. His daughter Emilie joined him in the business several years later. They both sing professionally.

Dr. Larrivee was a life long educator, having worked with children and parents as a school counselor and elementary school principal for many years. In the mid-90’s he introduced his students to peaceful problem-​solving activities during school wide assemblies; it was here that he became known as the «karaōke principal» because he also introduced his students to singing songs about peaceful problem solving and getting along with each other. he used two television screens with accompanying lyrics and encouraged 250 students to sing together (two different schools) in Stow, MA.

He enjoyed this so much that he ultimately decided to begin an entertainment business. This is how Cape and Islands Entertainment was born!

Meet the Manager

Emilie L.

Manager

Emilie Larrivee is the Managing Partner of Cape and Islands Entertainment. Having received her undergraduate degree in the Fine Arts from Roger Williams University, Emili has also achieved a Master of Science Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from MGH Institute in Boston, MA. As one of «The Singing DJ’s,» Emilie is a professional singer who specializes in contemporary country and pop music performances. She also provides DJ and Karaōke Services in the Greater Boston Area, including the North and South Shore.
