A hidden Lebanese food delight in Cape Coral, no more waiting to go to Jacksonville for Lebanese food. Went there tonight for the first time, the food was amazing and fresh. Freda makes everything homemade and most of it was fit for a vegan to eat. The service was great and very friendly. We had so much food that there’s leftovers for at least two days. I don’t usually eat falafel but this lady makes it taste so delish! I will def go again soon. It’s time to eat the baklava with coffee now at home. Don’t miss this great place.

This place is one of the hidden gems in cape coral. The owner makes all the food from scratch. We had falafel, tabboule, and stuffed grape leaves. I would’ve liked to have a plate of everything on the menu, but too bad I cannot eat it all. If you like lebanese food, this is the place, hands down.
I am totally impressed with the flavor of the food. I will certainly go to cedars café again !

This is the best hidden gem in Cape Coral for those who lie authentic, homemade Mediterranean food. We stumbled on this place on accident and can’t stop going back. The food is so fresh and prepared so well that my niece, who grew up in a Greek house with Greek grandparents, craves their gyros. And the baklava… oh, the baklava…

The owner Freda Muribi makes you feel like home, the food and the home made sweets are out of this world. I posted even a small video on my social site to help her to spread the word. So come and see how good all her food tastes and freshly made by herself.

I had the Mediterranean chicken on pita for lunch. It was super good. Very tender chicken. Baklava for desert was delicious. The owner was very kind and helpful. I wish I had been more hungry as the rest of the menu looked great. Nice atmosphere.

Great food here– if you’re feeling awful, have a falafel! Sure to brighten your day with cardamom goodness (maybe that’s the Turkish coffee talking).
They were very accommodating– veggies instead of the pita with the hummus for my GF wife, and the service was super friendly. Oh that dessert case… I can’t do it justice.

This business is undergoing a name change (née Le Chocolatier) so it gets confusing to identify them when searching for reviews. I am using the name they choose to be called. It’s also a little difficult to find since it’s just off Del Prado Blvd. – not on it. Let me tell you, the restaurant is special and worth finding. The owner is Lebananese and is committed to serving only fresh ingredients. There are many menu items, but for the first time visitor they might choose from three combo dinners. This makes it easy to try different offerings. I ordered Option 3 which consisted of Tabbouleh, koufteh (lamb & beef kabob), hummus and spinach pie. If you aren’t able to eat spinach, like me, the owner will substitute meat pie which is excellent. Pita bread which comes directly from Chicago is served on the side to accompany the hummus.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Everything was absolutely fresh. I’ve gone by there many times thinking it was a candy store because, due to the sign maker’s confusion, the outdoor sign simply states CHOCOLATE. The owner is in the process of getting a sign saying Cedar Café. If you enjoy Mideastern food, you won’t find many any better in SWFLA. Highly recommended.

Excellent Mediterranean lunch!

The best Middle Eastern cuisine we have had since leaving New York. The Lentil soup was better than I make myself and the hummus and baba ganoush was to die for! We were planning our next lunch before we even left. The food is delicious and Freda made us feel so welcome. YUM!!!

I give the owner props for effort in making her business as successful as it can be in that location. It still need lots of tweaks and experience to smooth out all the bumps to her road to success. The chocolate was cute to look at but nothing like the craft of Godiva chocolate. The Mediterranean food was pretty good, very limey but for that sort of food that’s just how it is. I really enjoyed the tabbuleh and hummus, they were delicious.
