Cannot go wrong with a White Pizza or a Cheese Steak Hoagie from Cappy’s. The staff could be a bit more friendly but in all honesty as long as the food is good I can live with a miserable staff. Even though the food is not always as hot as I would like when it is delivered it is something I can put up with since the price, quality, and taste of Cappy’s just cannot be beat if your in Cape May.

I live authentic family restaurants! And this place does not disappoint. The family special: x-large pizza w four drinks for $ 18.75 is a steal! My wife had the house salad which was shockingly good(who orders salad at a pizzeria?). Overall best place for the money. I am coming back!

What a joke! It’s 9 o’clock on Monday in the middle of August. No one awnsers the phone. Even though their website says their open till 11pm. And by the way it’s the same owner as cappellettis & son on perry. Borderline west cape may. If ur not open advertises that u not open! Locals say Tony’s is the shit. And I live washington DC and the pizza sucks in DC. I was looking forward to some good za! If u had a good happy hr! And ur looking for a pie around 9. Call Tony’s! It’s not that’s it better, but at least u can actually get a pie. I can only assume in the middle of winter their not open. Because it seems real hard to handle cape may In the middle of August. What a joke. !!! Ps: for anyone thinking. Oh it’s Monday. Same thing Saturday nite. Joke!!!

The pizza is pretty good. The staff is oddly rude though. I don’t understand why, maybe they hate their jobs? Another downside are their closing hours. Although it says 11pm here on Unilocal, they NEVER stay open that late. They don’t have any«official» hours posted anywhere. I guess they just close when they feel; that’s usually between 8−9pm from my experience. The pizza has good flavor, but the pizza is not very consistent, I’ve been served undercooked, burnt and everything in between. We always open the box not knowing what to expect. It’s become a joke in my family. But like I said the pizza has good flavor so we always go back due to the lack of good delivery out here.

Food was ok. A bit over priced for what you’re getting but that’s «vacation» I guess. The BIG turn off was the girl working letting us know immediately when we walked in that«they were closing so we couldn’t get anything from the grill»(a simple hello first would have been nice) she then asked if it was for here or to go and I said«for here please» and she said«well actually we are closing so…» Probably won’t be going back.

Great pizza, even better breakfast sandwiches! However, I feel like it is a little over priced.

Sorry but this place has the worse pizza my wife and I ever ate!!! Period. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half sausage pizza. Three quarters of it was soupy tomato/cheese/too much oregano all on top of floppy cardboard. Ugh! Cape May has the best gourmet restaurants at the shore however it needs a good pizza joint. Wildwood has better pizza!

Really friendly service. Watched the boys in the back bake fresh bread for subs, which is a great sign. My slices were a bit floppy and the sauce a bit too sweet for my tastes(I am a pretty huge pizza snob, sorry), but I would recommend popping over here for a fresh pie or a sandwich and great service.

Went to the Mangia beach window for some food. We ordered a couple chili dogs and the chili was cold. It had obviously been in the fridge and not microwaved enough. We ate it, though, and didn’t get sick.

Cappy’s have become one of my favorite places to stop in for a meal when I’m in Cape May. I’m usually there for a breakfast sandwich. For early in the morning, the guys who work there are always in a good mood. Since I get up early in the morning, I don’t always want breakfast at 9… At Capoy’s, that’s no problem. The pizzas are already in the oven and ready for whatever slice you’d like. The BBQ chicken pizza and the pepperoni and sausage slices are my usual slices that I substitute for breakfast… This pizzeria is the one place in Cape May that you will be happy that you stopped in when for a quick bite to eat. If you’re lucky, the owners father will be there visiting. A 80something year old man who is a pleasure to sit and talk to for awhile.

Everything I have had here is delicious! The all meat pizza is fabulous as is the veggie. The meatball sub, cappy fries, chicken strips, salad. You can’t go wrong with what you order.

OK, caveat, I haven’t tried their pizza. I had the chicken parm sub, which was delicious, but there wasn’t a whole lot on the cheese side of things. So that’s a bit iffy, and on the expensive side. Then again, it _is_Cape May, so an extra dollar or two ought to be expected. They get a star bump up for great staff, very friendly and personable. I’d go back and try some pizza next time for a full review, if I ever find myself down there around mealtime.

Picked up a chicken parm and a salad from here and it was surprisingly delicious! If you’re in need of a quick place to grab some food from and take it to the beach this is a good option.

Crap, I love this place. Last year we were famished after a long day at the zoo, on the beach, and on a boat ride. We had stopped at the next door Wawa to change clothes earlier in the day and had seen this place, so we stopped by. First of all, the staff, especially the owners, are so unbelievably friendly. They made us feel so welcome, like we were old regulars. The pizza was good but the«Cappy fries» were outstanding. I’ve never had anything like them but I took home the leftovers and they held up well hours later heated up in a toaster oven. They are tossed in some garlic parmesean mixture, extremely garlicky — not great before a hot date but soo good. I was looking forward to revisiting this pizza shop during my entire vacation and they did not disappoint. The owners and staff were so amazing and friendly yet again. Their attitudes really make this place a standout from other pizza shops at the shore. If you are craving pizza in Cape May, stop by, and you will not be disappointed.
