Nice little state park. Staff is friendly

You can’t go wrong with nature, water, and clean bathroom and good neighbor.
We went camping in aug 2012 for our annual camping trip, though we were missing one member. Its all about location location, and this place is it. Its wonderful and kind people that directed us to our campsite at 9pm and our neighbors that lend us the lamp as we put up the tent in the night sky. what can i say about our view? it is breath taking in the moring at sunset and in the darkest of night. As my friends put it they have never seen NY filled with so much stars and with the milky way above our heads as we slept. the bathroom were clean and there is a Beach and a place to rent a motor boat to go fishing in the 1000+ islands, one thing is that i wished it would go faster. there is nothing better then good friends and a great time. i might be two shade darker at this time, but that is ok my mind filled with good memories. I will however take credit for picking this location. now i need to get a good camera to take pictures… next year the blue ridge mountains or smoky mountains in the fall. One thing to remember if you are gonna go fishing to get the permit its 7 miles away, and there is a good supermarket in clayton… if you go camping remember to bring marshmallows, hot chocolate, propane grill, fishing pole, swim suite, and leave behind your troubles. but just check out the beautiful photos it speaks for itself.
and if you need a jump for your car the parks people will be around to help you along with air for your tires. don’t worry about the jumper cables they also have it too. next time i would like to have spent 5 days there,
