love Peyton! She’s my kinda solid knowledge base with a touch of woo-​woo. Still in the middle of my treatment with her — and have gotten good results with some ancillary symptons. She has great bedside manner and a delicate touch with the needle. I feel very taken care of with her.

I was in my fourth month of pregnancy and getting crazy tension headaches that were rooted in tight neck and back muscles. I had tried my go to a masseuse with no relief. I called Peyton and booked an appointment… honestly not expecting it to help… as nothing else I had tried had worked. Peyton spent a good amount of time getting to know me and what I was suffering from. She really cares about what’s going on with your body and how she can help. She did acupuncture and cupping on my back muscles. I’m not kidding that night I was relieved of the tight pain/​soreness I had had I my neck and shoulders. It was amazing!!! I had been suffering for a month! Massage just left me more sore… the acupuncture and cupping treatment relieved all pain and headaches were gone. I told all my friends they have to try it… it was just unbelievable! Now instead of massage I go do acupuncture/​cupping! I stumbled upon Peyton by what could have only been fate. Peyton was amazing… I went to induce labor naturally and it worked! I went into labor the next morning and I had the fastest labor total time 2.5 hours. By the time I made it to the hospital I was 9 cm and no time for drugs… although It was not intentional to go naturally I’m so glad I did… my recovery was so much better than I had with my first child.

I bought a Living Social deal for Cardiff Acupuncture. I moved to Carlsbad recently and have been trying to find the right place for me. First off, the deal was great and Peyton gave me additional deals once I was there. I was able to fill out all the forms online and even book my appointment on the website.
Peyton has an ability to make you feel comfortable from the get-​go. After the first 10 minutes, I forgot that I hadn’t known her all my life. I feel like I am on a new journey in my life and she is a big part of it!

I bought a Living Social voucher for a session and have been coming back religiously ever since! My first session, I was a little nervous. Having a fear of needles, I didn’t respond very well to the acupuncture at first. Peyton was SO understanding and patient with me. I continued to see her every 2 weeks, and now I feel like an acupuncture pro! She is so warm and makes you feel right at home.
Since I have been seeing Peyton, my stress levels have been down and my sleep has been impeccable. I look forward to every session and take full advantage of her talent every time! She also makes fabulous Flower Essences which really work hand in hand with the sessions. I have been taking mine every day for the past 3 months and I have truly noticed a difference in my everyday life. I have been a devoted regular for the past year! I was new to acupuncture, and I was completely blown away by the care I received from Peyton at Cardiff Acupuncture. In a general sense, I knew I needed help addressing the effects of stress on my body. Working closely with Peyton, she helped to guide my treatments through her incredible experience, knowledge, and insight. Each treatment has helped to improve my overall health and well being. In addition to the needles, Peyton’s follow up in between treatments and supplement recommendations have been very helpful too.

I bought a Living Social deal for Cardiff Acupuncture because I have been wanting to find a good, affordable acupuncturist. Booking an appointment online was very easy, and Peyton was very responsive to my questions via email as well. You can print the patient forms from the website so you can fill out the forms before the appointment. Having said that, I forgot to do that but Peyton was great and just «interviewed» me and I didn’t have to fill out paperwork other than to sign a disclaimer.
The location is great, near the beach in Solana Beach in the brown wooden Boardwalk plaza that also has a juice bar and café so you can grab a drink before or after. Also, there is free street parking in front or in the parking lot on the backside of the building.
The treatment itself was surprisingly painless. While I haven’t had acupuncture regularly I have tried two other places and I don’t know if it’s the needles Peyton uses but I barely felt them going in. After lying alone in the room for about twenty minutes, Peyton came back in and removed the needles. She then proceeded to give me a relaxing massage of my back, arms and legs using a pleasant smelling oil.
I’m trying acupuncture to treat upper back/​shoulder pain and migraines. I’m probably a few treatments away from being a serious believer in acupuncture, but I want to believe and Peyton is very nice and seems to know what she’s doing, so I booked my follow up appointment already. She also offered me the discounted price for additional follow up treatments, which I appreciated and makes this more affordable for me since my insurance doesn’t cover acupuncture. (Your insurance company might!)
The only reason I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that you can occasionally hear people talking or walking outside in the office in the plaza. You can avoid this by booking early or late appointments, and it’s not overwhelming anyways.
