Angelo’s Pizza

This place changed owners 3 times in a short period of time. Pizzas are good, but as for the other stuff… questionable.

I’m a stickler when it comes to good pizza so naturally I wasn’t too sure about eating a size from a shop inside of a plaza. I am glad I did. I tend to know how my meal will turn out based on the taste and texture of a plain slice. I’d that slice is good then I know that the rest of the slices typical or not may follow suit. That was the case here. I had a plain slice and a buffalo slice. I will start with the plain slice. Magnificent. Just enough dough and cheese to delight your chewing. The sauce is amazing. The flavor jumps out at you from your first bite to your last. The buffalo slice was great. Not too spicy but had enough of a kick to sizzle your tastebuds. They use all white meat that is cooked wonderfully and had a little crunch to it which was surprising. I will Def come back here again when I’m out here shopping.

Ordered three wraps. All were really good! Very nice guys, polite good service! We will stop by again.

This pizzeria is so great! The employees are extremely nice and they are very attentive. It is reasonably priced. They have a special which is $ 6 for 2 slices of pizza and a drink. They accept credit cards and the sitting area is very nice. The downside of this place is the parking lot. The people are crazy.

I highly recommend this place for a fantastic pizza! The ingredients are fresh (no canned mushrooms). I was surprised at how many pizzerias use canned mushrooms:/
Angelo’s is now our «go to» pizza place.
Update: We have been back several times and every visit is enjoyable.

Food is great — pizza and pasta are delicious — counter service is good. I often dine alone and feel that the staff is kind and attentive when I order my dinner and it is brought to my table. It is hidden away in the corner of a shopping center but the locals go there for delicious pizza!

The best Margarita and Chicken with broccoli pizza in Carle Place/​westbury /​Mineola area.

Being completely objective here and solely based on the taste and quality of the food. It is pizza, looks good, smells good, but nothing amazing. Its a regular pizza joint. I will say though, they did not cook the dough enough. I tend to ask for an «extra crispy» pizza to begin with and I didn’t this time, however even for a regular slice, it was very floppy. And felt as though it had been sitting there for a while. I’ll keep looking, but would rather make pizza then to order from here.

Exceptional pizza and run by some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Take the time to find the place (next to the TJ Maxx) or just call and get them to deliver — you can’t do much better than a pepperoni and sausage pie from here.

From Manhattan to BK to Queens and out to the islands this has been some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! Little hole in the wall joint right next to TJ Maxx.

Traveled here on business and was craving some pizza. I based my decision completely on Unilocal reviews since I just wanted something delivered.

Very good pizza, coming from Brooklyn, I rate Angelo’s pizza with the greats of pie making. This is a must stop for me when I’m in the Glen Cove area.

Great place for pizza take-​out, my favorite in Carle Place!

One of Carle Place’s many hidden gems. You might miss this pizza parlor because its hidden next to TJ MAXX, however, the food is delicious, the employees are even sweeter, and they create great unique pizzas & always steer their customers in the right direction. I highly recommend Angelo’s over the rest of the nearby pizza places that are filled with grease and prego like sauce. You can’t go wrong! Make sure to take a menu for the coupons inside!

Tucked in the corner in the TJ MAXX parking lot. «Angelo’s PIZZA and GYRO» the sign reads but nothing inside says greek food. I had ordered the minestrone soup and while waiting for it opted for a slab of the stromboli. It was a big meaty greasy cheesy mess. But I liked it. Half the size would have sufficed. Service is friendly, I didnt stay — only took out, so I did not visit the diningroom. They had plenty of different pizzas by the slice on display, maybe next time!

Nestled in the most unassuming of strip malls, Angelo’s is a great spot with some of the most delicious pizza this gal has ever had.
It’s easy to miss, wedged between a nail salon and TJ Maxx, but daaaaaaay-​um this pizza is good! The crust: thin and crispy. The cheese: melty and flavorful. The sauce: sweet yet tart and that ever important element of salt is hinted at throughout each ingredient. Deeee-​lish.
I inhaled my first piece of straight-​up cheese (the only way to really judge a parlor) and then moved onto my slice of white pizza. One word: heavenly! I even snuck a bite of my husbee’s margharita pizza, and I have to say that blew everything else out of the water. You can taste the freshness of the mozzarella and basil, and atop those crushed tomatoes they just sang.
The ambiance is standard LI pizza place, but the staff is super friendly and efficient. There is plenty of seating room — a kid was even having his 7^th bday party while we were there, and we weren’t remotely crowded.
All in all, this is a great find, if you can find it!
