New Asian Restaurant

Well I had come from a long flight 15 hours and was dam hungry and ordered for food and was waiting for more than an hour and a half and called the manager there again and he said I gave the wrong address and instead of being sorry he was blaming… Me and was rude.
They don’t have any interest in talking nicely to there customers.
That’s really sad!

This place is shut down! I was trying to get some food and I came across for rent sign.

I have ordered from here a few times. I would say its just ok. I like the fact that they have some cool options. What I don’t like is the fact on my last order, I waited 1 Hr and 20 minutes before cancelling my order. I was not going to be a victim of cold delivery food just because the driver wanted to pack in as many delivered as possible. When I called an asked to cancel, the lady told me 5 more minutes and it will arrive. She told me that 20 minutes prior. Instead of an «Im sorry, take this for free and we appreciate your business» she just hung up on me. Now I will never call them again. They just lost my business. Sooo Sarry…

Scam Alert!
The «restaurant» (if you can call it that. I’ve seen broom closets bigger than this place) does NOT honor the coupons available on its website. I decided to place an order for pick-​up after seeing a «Half Off General Tso’s Chicken» coupon for first-​time customers. I wanted to place the order online, but the coupon was not available to apply to my order. The coupon also images of scissors around it, implying the coupon has to be printed. It also states it only applies to cash orders. So I called.
However, when I brought the coupon in, the lady behind the counter said the coupon was for online orders only (it does NOT specify on the coupon) and refused to take it. I must have looked confused because she continued «My manager just called and said its for online orders only.» Now I KNEW she was lying because why would a manager randomly call the restaurant at 7:45pm on a Thursday night to clarify a coupon no one knew I would be bringing in? I didn’t want to make a scene because there were a few other customers waiting, but I was furious.
I called the restaurant and asked for the manager to call me. Haven’t heard from «Nancy» yet — shocker.
By the way, the food was subpar — worse than typical Chinese takeout. The chicken was terrible quality. It was all ligaments and other inedible chunks. The sauce tasted like burnt garlic and was not even similar to General Tso’s.
Will never return. Unless Nancy offers me the partial refund she owes me.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in carle place, the duck is tasty, the Noddles is definite the best thing you van ever had.

I was visiting the area, looking for some Asian food. The offer of Thai and Chinese is very good. I had a Tom yum gai soup which was tasty and fresh, a bit greasy I thought. I also had chicken basil. Very large portion. I needed a double order of rice to finish. For a rake out place certainly better than your average Asian place.

One of the best take out joints in NY… had the Thai Basil with Chicken, as well as the Human Chicken combo… both delicious and flavorful… the staff were really nice and courteous too… even brought our food out to the car

Ordered for the first time last night and the food was really good! Fresh and cooked well. It’s a nice change from just an ordinary Chinese take-​out restaurant by offering some Thai options. The Beef Thai Basil was delicious! The beef was super tender and was a great ratio of meat to veggies with the right amount of heat. Most importantly– it wasn’t greasy at all. The Pad Thai was just a tad dry, but overall great flavor and a squeeze of the lemon really transformed it (plus the lemon was actually juicy! unlike most cut fruit from take-​out places). The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and polite and so was the delivery man. The food arrived on time and hot; It’s just great take-​out!

This place used to be Christine’s Chinese which was very good until new people took over and it dived. Now it’s back as New Asian. I ordered the Curry chicken combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. There was 5 pieces of chicken and a ton of vegetables. Curry sauce was tasty but ratio of meat to vegetables was disappointing. The egg roll was mostly cabbage and was forgettable. The pork fried rice was cooked a little well done and had very little pork. I also tried the fried pork dumplings. They were a tad wet like they had been steamed and then fried. Not very appetizing. There was a little ball of meat inside a big ball of dough. The dipping sauce for the dumplings tasted like straight soy sauce. I wanted to like this place but won’t go back.

Just ordered from here after receiving menus on my doorstep yesterday. The delivery was very fast! This place is fairly close to me so that isn’t too surprising.
The items I ordered were Mongolian Beef with fried rice, part of the Lunch special with eggroll.
Thai Lemongrass Chicken also a lunch special
and a Singapore Noodles with chicken.
I shared this with another friend that happened to stop by.
The Pros. All of the meat was very good, tender, perfectly seasoned, and really yummy.
The Cons. There was hardly any meat! I suppose for a lunch special most restaurants will do that, but the veggies included were huge hunks of onion and pepper in some cases, just a hunk of tomato sliced and placed inside as almost as if to fill up a space. Not really anything I want to put in my mouth even to get my veggies in…
Since we were sharing this, we each got a very very small portion of the proteins and it didn’t really feel filling without going for more starch.. I wish they would cut the vegetables thinner, and add a bit more meat.
The fried rice was not particularly good, however. the eggroll was delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Very good eggroll.
Bottom line. Really enjoyed the food, just wish there had been a bit more of the protein. Atleast 50% more. I would love to know which of their dishes would be protein only. If they cooked and seasoned those as well as this one. I’ll be ordering those next!

Shrimp is good, noodle tastes perfect, and there aren’t really much restaurants that cook like China expect this. I strongly recommend, and I like these guys. Come here if you want a fast and delicious lunch.

Great food with a friendly staff. The food has improved since the new owners took over. You can eat in, or they deliver as well. If you are hungry and near the Garden City area, try them.
