History
Established in 1988.
Dr. Richard J. Cantor is a Board Certified Specialist in the field of orthodontics. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He completed a general practice residency at Eastman Dental Center of the University of Rochester and a pediatric dental internship and residency at Harvard’s Children’s Hospital. Dr. Cantor obtained his orthodontic certificate at Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester.
Dr. Cantor continues to expand his orthodontic education by attending yearly conferences held by the American Board of Orthodontics College of Diplomates, the American Association of Orthodontist and various technique courses.

Business Owner
Dr. Richard J. Cantor specializes in orthodontics and obtained his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Next, Dr. Cantor completed his general practice residency at Eastman Dental Center followed by a residency and pediatric dental internship at Harvard’s Children’s Hospital. Before leaving Eastman Dental Center, Dr. Cantor obtained his orthodontic certificate. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics as well as a public lecturer. Dr. Cantor is active in the Pennsylvania orthodontic community as he is a past president of the Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists. His caring and attention goes beyond the orthodontic community as well — he was president of the Carlisle Cares About Youth program and also volunteered as an assistant coach for the youth soccer league. Outside of the office he enjoys hiking, water sports, and wave running.
