History

Established in 1974.

In 1974, Pete Fair and Tom Frederick left the VW organization to open Frederick & Fair Automotive. In 1997, Tom retired from the corporation. At that time Rick Merrick and Chris Fair joined the corporation as partners under the new title «Merrick & Fair, Inc.» Since then, Bob Troutman came on board eventually becoming a partner. We assumed the d/​b/​a title of «More Than Tires» soon after. In essence, More Than Tires is a second generation business that began over ;35 years ago. Our staff’s tireless commitment to the needs of our customers has made More Than Tires known throughout the greater Carlisle, PA area as the place to go.
