Red Cardinal Bed & Breakfast

Joanne and Bill provide a great place to «be a local». They let you into their home and treat you like you’re a member of their family, and in their case, that’s a great thing.
The breakfasts I enjoyed there on their back patio overlooking their neighbor’s corn field were absolutely wonderful! Even when I let them know I didn’t like one of the items, they didn’t say anything, except «do you like this?» and brought out an awesome replacement. That only happened once in my 4 days.
The house itself is nice sized, so you don’t feel cramped and they don’t mind you sitting in with them during the evening for a chat, or watching the news/​sporting event, etc.
Parking is easy, except Lerew Rd can be tough to navigate, never back out onto the road!
Molly, their dog, is a treat and make sure you check out her chickens, or she’ll remind you to do that.
Definitely a relaxing place to stay. The room itself was wonderful. No problems with anything. The stairs are a little on the steep side, so go slow.
No doubt I’ll be back.
