Carlsbad Dance Centre is dedicated to providing affordable, professional dance instruction. Age’s toddler to Adults! The dance year culminates with our annual Dance Recital program and recognition of Carlsbad Dance Centre’s «Hall of Fame» honoree, along with award ceremonies for outstanding long-​term students. The Recital is held in a beautiful, professional concert theater. There are also opportunities for students to perform locally, attend dance conferences and participate in regional and national dance competitions.

History

Established in 1985.

Carlsbad Dance Centre, a proud member of the Carlsbad community, has a positive impact in the lives of thousands of children. We are rated the #1 dance studio in San Diego County, by Dancer magazine. We take our responsibilities of being a safe & moral place for your children to spend time, very seriously. As a recreational studio with a serious Competition Team program; we have a place for all dancers ages 18-​mos to Adult.

Business Owner

«I believe it was fate and dedication,» states Jana about the path that brought her to Carlsbad Dance Centre in 1996. It was here she met one of the most important influences in her life, Ginya S. Jana spent time teaching and learning everything she could about the «Dance Studio» business. In 2001, when Ginya decided to retire it was a natural fit for Jana to become the new owner/​director. Over the years Jana has proved to be a gifted and prolific choreographer. Both she and her students have received many awards at regional and national dance competitions. Awards include: «Grand National Champion», «Dancer of the Year», «Best Choreography», «Most Entertaining», «Sensational Staging», «Best Costume», «Outstanding Technique», and «Top Studio». Recently, one of her dancers was awarded 1^st overall amongst 167 dancers at a national event. It’s Jana’s hope her students will gain the love of dance and receive the the same joy and personal rewards that she’s experienced for 30 yrs.
