Have been going to this salon every two weeks for the last six years. Sadly, I am moving out of state and will truly miss this place.
Laura and her staff are awesome, friendly and professional. I always get manicure with gel and the European pedicure. Gel always look good even after 2 weeks.
Every 6 – 8 weeks I get a facial with Laura which is the most relaxing experience ever. Great treatment and the massage she gives is heavenly!

Really enjoyed it here. The attention to detail is great! My gel manicure looks incredible! I am very happy with the attention to detail, especially on the sides of my nail. They have an incredible selection of nail polish for gel nails and that’s a big thing for me because I don’t want to just get a basic color every time.
They also have a great selection of regular nail polish really neatly organized by shades almost like a color wheel.
They did such a great job on covering the whole thing with gel! It is such a hard task to find a great nail salon that does a great job with gel nails and this place is it!
My hands feel soft my nails look incredible my nails feel incredible and my cuticles did not bleed at all. They took care of my nails and cuticles and sides of my nails as if they were their own. It’s really hard to find a place like this and I’m so happy that I did. Definitely will be back to try a pedicure and maybe later in the future to get my eyebrows waxed.
It didn’t smell like any weird chemicals and it didn’t smell like acrylic!!! That was amazing so many times we go to nail salons and they stinks so bad.
They have a cute little porch garden type thing outside and it’s adorable. You wait there till they’re ready for you and it was a nice touch especially when you’re in Carlsbad.

Great time on private patio with four of my closest girlfriends. We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. Plus, Chelsea did an amazing job on my nails!

Let me start off by saying I’m very friendly and I always make the mistake of telling people when it’s my first time doing something. I needed to look good for a vacation. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked how I could be helped. I told them I’d like my nails done with gel and regular polish on my toes Mani/pedi.i had never had them done before, so I told them this. I choose my colors for toes and fingers and we get started. As she’s working on my feet, she coaxes me to get gel rather than my requested normal polish. I go for it. Everything goes well and the total at the very end when she was ringing me up was around $ 100. Um, what?! I was not told any prices at all and the card I saw on their counter was like $ 50 for a Mani pedi so I assumed the gel nails on my hands would up the cost by maybe 10 bucks, but HOLY F. This put a serious damper on my vacation funds and most of the fingernails were not even completely covered with paint all the way. And the gel on my fingernails all chipped after only 5 days after application, are you kidding me?!
TL;DR: Outrageously overpriced for the work that gets done and the quality of the gel polish is total poo. They can have their one star because my extremely overpriced toes look okay.

Let me start off by saying that I was really really impressed by this place. It’s right across the street from the Carlsbad Village Shopping Center off of Carlsbad Village Drive. It’s a small hair and nail salon that specializes in providing care for expectant mothers and children. How, you ask? Well, when I walked in… there was NO chemical odors! It was so apparent I mentioned it to the staff and that’s when they told me the rationale. They do not do acrylics here, sorry ladies… this isn’t the place to go for that. But if you just want a manicure and/​or pedicure, let me tell you, this is the best place to be at!
They have 4 chairs and everything was reasonably priced. A basic pedicure will cost $ 25, a deluxe «European» pedicure will cost $ 35 (this includes the massage, the scrub, the wax). If you want a mani/​pedi package, it will cost $ 45. Julie did my mani and pedi and I will say it was the best I’ve had. The massage, was actually a massage and not a, «I want to see how fast I can rub the lotion into your legs» type of an experience. I didn’t feel rushed as I have been before in other salons. I really felt pampered here.
The environment was peaceful and staff was very friendly. I happened to meet another fellow Unilocaler that day and she has been coming for a long time. There was also a high number of males getting pedicures here. I was shocked, but it must be less intimidating than other nail salons.
They take walk-​ins but I will say they only have 4 pedi chairs and their can be a wait. Luckily, there was no wait when we walked in which was awesome. I don’t think you can go wrong with coming here. Just please don’t come on the days that I come so I won’t have to wait! Haha!

Great place in downtown Carlsbad. My girlfriend and I were spending the afternoon at the beach and decided on a whim to get a mani and pedi. We tried walking in at one place but they were closing. So after « Unilocaling» a place, we called Carlsbad Salon District. They told us to come right in. Great people and great service!

Made a last minute appoint for a mani/​pedi at the request of a visiting cousin. They were short staffed but did their best to accommodate everyone, walk in & appointment alike.
My pedicure was amazing, the massage was really phenomenal. The shop was clean, ladies friendly, and both my cousin & I were happy with the results!
The prices were right in line with what I’m accustomed to paying at other places ($ 12 mani, $ 22 pedi). Just be aware that while they do accept credit cards, they charge a $ 1.50 fee, and they don’t take checks, so bring cash!

Great find thanks to Unilocal.A group of us came in for pedicures while visiting from Phoenix. The staff were all very friendly, we really enjoyed ourselves. Prices are a little better than Phoenix. Will return next time I’m in Carlsbad!

My mom and I came in for pedicures at the last minute. Crystal was awesome and even asked if I wanted these cute daisies to add to my spring nails. Will definitely be back!

Very nice and clean salon. I went for a girls’ day treat — European pedicure package; decently priced. There is an extra fee for paying with your card.

I brought a pin with a logo from a high school for our reunion this week and Chelsea copied the design. excellent service. bring your designs! I bet she can do it !

Love my Shellac mani I got today from Chelsea. Showed her a Pinterest photo and she brought it to life. She held a great conversation throughout, making me feel comfortable and valued. She is a great asset to the salon.

Chelsea does the best gels! She’s super creative and they last for weeks! Thanks Chelsea for always making my nails look great!

I’m surprised the reviews of this place are so good. Honestly, this was the worst mani/​pedi I’ve ever gotten. The girls were really nice, but when I left I still had hangnails on my fingers, the pedicure was crazy short, my fingernails were totally chipped by the next day, and 3 days later I can feel an ingrown nail in my toe. Totally not impressed. I also thought the prices were high but I’m not from the area so maybe I’m just out of touch.

Love it here! I won’t even bother trying any other nail salons from now on. I’ve lived in Oceanside for 6 years now, and can’t believe I’m just now finding this place. The ladies who work here are amazing, easy to talk to and professional but fun. Prices are reasonable; gel nails and art are available, but acrylics are not. No complaints here because I’d rather not breathe in those fumes.

I came here with my grandma while I was visiting last week. The person who did my pedicure was amazing and so sweet. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town. I love the color selection!

This place is fantastic! I had Chelsea for my European pedicure and she was phenomenal! Hands down the BEST nail artist I’ve been to. She took her time and made sure I was happy with my visit. I’m so happy with my toes I can hardly stand it!!! We called ahead about a half hour prior for a party of 7 and only had to wait a couple of minutes to be accommodated. We were greeted, directed to the garden to wait, and given menus. I loved everything about this place! I highly recommend this place if you are in the Carlsbad area. You won’t be disappointed!

I can always count on this place for relaxing and forgetting about the stress of life, oh yeah. and coming out with cute nails! So peaceful and calm here! Amazing job done by all these ladies! More than happy each and every time! Love love love!
