Circle K

This Circle K is particularly frustrating. They say they accept EBT, but unlike ANY other store. Convenience or otherwise the owner selects items that her employees are instructed to accept. It is totally against policy. And is DISCRIMINATION, against what appears to
be the less fortunate. Very humiliating and unfair. Working on a formal complaint!

Super Friendly staff! Car washes are discounted right now which is great! I often go in to get the 89 cent drinks and they always punch my card or give me a stamped card. The excellent friendly service keeps me going back. Total bonus that it is a Redbox location as well!

The car wash here is to be avoided at all cost. My VW Tiguan is an easy car to wash, but this automatic wash is the worst. The «brushes» are hard plastic, not cloth, and they didn’t even touch the windows on the driver’s side, or the rear window. I had to wash the car myself after having it washed here.

Mari is the absolute sweetest! I will be going out of my way to stop at this circle k location if I ever need something.

I am giving this place 5 stars for its bathroom alone. I always dread when I have to use a public gas station bathroom, but it was a pleasant surprise to see how clean and well taken care of it was.

CAR DETAIL PLACE REVIEW–
I have a 03 Honda element that is wrapped and it was looking pretty bad. They did an amazing job. My rims and interior have not looked this good since I bought the car. Price was fair– not really super cheap, but very fair for what they do. They hand wash your car. They don’t just run it through the crappy machine. Anyway, I was very impressed.

This store is part of a gas station and car wash. My review applies to the car wash. It’s terrible. I paid for the upgraded $ 9 «spot free rinse» wash and it left my car more spotted than before the wash. When I told the attendant in the store and asked for my money back, he said no. Didn’t even bother looking at the results. I tried contacting Circle K corporate about it and they never answered or got back to me.
Not only this, but their gas prices are some of the highest in Carlsbad.

I recently became a Redbox user and found this place because I needed to return a few DVDs. I didn’t actually come into the store until today and I was very impressed by the service.
This is a decent place to get some lunch if you’re looking for some burgers, hot dogs, or this thing they call a Tornado (it’s kind of like a rolled taco…). Their condiments section is clean and they provide a variety of stuff to put on your burger or dog: chopped onions, relish, and jalapenos to name a few and they also have spicy brown mustard, yellow mustard and ketchup in the squeeze bottle form or the portable packets. I especially like this place since it isn’t near a high school so you don’t have any rowdy kids hangin around here during lunch time… Also, their fountain drink station serves both Pepsi and Coke products…
The store seems very new… probably not more than a year old and it is very clean. They have restrooms and an ATM and it has a very spacious layout. The employees here are very nice. They greeted me and asked genuinely how I was doing when I went up to the counter to pay for my lunch. I feel like that is very rare thing nowadays especially when visiting a convenience store. I left with a smile on my face because this was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had at a convenience store…
