History

Established in 1987.

Daedalus Design Group’s origins come from an extensive background in the design/​build and traditional design consultant experiences of the firm’s principal, Jeffrey Smith. This traditional/​non-​traditional approach to design and construction culminates in the creation of environmentally sensitive, highly functional, aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly buildable outdoor environments.

DDG was founded in 1987, and Jeffrey Smith has been a practicing landscape architect for 31 years. Our office is located in the Village area of Carlsbad, on the corner of Jefferson Street and Laguna Drive.
