I had two previous Realtors prior to selecting Eliot. The first over promised a sell price but failed to deliver. The second promised if I did 10k in upgrades I would get over ask. But neither one was able to sell my condo nor even get an offer. It was then that I realized I needed an experienced professional with no gimics or false promises. From the start Eliot was upfront about what he believed our home would sell for. He had a distinct plan of action and he even said we could fire him at any time if we were not satisfied with his work. After being burnt twice I was skeptical. My wife always says actions speak louder than words. Eliot’s actions spoke to what an amazing realtor he is. In less than a week we got two solid offers. We needed a buyer who would agree to a rentback and Eliot was instrumental in making this happen. Not only did he sell our house but he got us the price we asked for.
It was then time to buy our dream house. We were picky and wouldn’t settle. I can’t tell you how many times we called him up just to look at one property. Mind you he is based out of Carlsbad and we are off the 15. I could only see properties usual at 5 which was the peak of rush hour. Yet he never complained but rather eagerly offered to come out. When a property wasn’t the one he was just as excited to help us see the next. When we found the house of our dreams we told Eliot we need him to make this happen. Keep in mind where we were buying every single property was going into bid wars. Eliot got us our house avoided the bid wars. I am pleased to say our house has already gone up in value by $ 30,0000.
If you are looking for a realtor who will sell your house the first time around and who will work with you until the job is done…, then look no further then Eliot.

Another amazing home buying experience with Eliot! We found Eliot via Unilocal when we were looking to buy our first home. He saved us a ton of money and grief by finding some serious problems with the house and making sure all issues were resolved prior to closing.
Four years later, and getting little bored in the suburbs, we decide to look closer to downtown and of course our first call is to Eliot. We made an offer on a house after our first outing, and once again Eliot came through and saved us from a house that would have been a money pit! We ended up buying a house we loved even more, and Eliot guided us through a competitive bidding process.
We’re telling ourselves that this is it, we found our perfect home, but we’ll see. In four years we might be calling Eliot again!

Just updating my review from 4 years ago. We got in touch with Eliot a couple of months ago to help us search for our new house. There was no question that we were going to ask Eliot for his assistance in our next home purchase.
As ever, he was patient with us and very easy to get in touch with either by phone or email.
He helped with great advice on how much we should be offering on the house. He also managed to get us a decent amount of cash back for repairs on the property from the seller.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Eliot was amazing. He helped us find our perfect first home. He was patient and explained the ins and outs of being a first time homeowner, showed me what to look for and what might be problematic. He even went to the house and turned on the sprinklers for me because I was worried about the plants dying. He couldn’t have been more helpful!
